High-sensitivity and fast-response photodetectors (PDs) are vital part of optical wireless communication (OWC) system. In this work, we develop an organic–inorganic hybrid perovskite material (MAPbI3) based p–i–n structured PD. By optimizing the precursor solution concertation, the PD showed a high responsivity of 0.98 A W−1, a fast response time t rise/ t fall of 12/12.5 μs, a specific detectivity of 2.62 × 1013 Jones, and the f−3dB of 24 kHz under the 532 nm laser and −0.2 V bias voltage. Furthermore, we designed an OWC system based on the prepared PD. With the baud rate of 19200 bps, the system exhibits a bit error rate less than 10−6, and it can realize 9.63 m long-distance communication and quick transmission applications such as strings, texts, photos, and audios. MoS 2 is widely used in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) due to its high capacity (670 mAh g -1 ) and unique two-dimensional structure. However, the further application was limited of MoS 2 as anode materials suffer from its volume expansion and low conductivity. In this work, N-doped graphene encapsulated MoS 2 nanosphere composite (MoS 2 @NG) were prepared and its unique sandwich structure containing abundant mesopores and defects can efficiently enhance reaction kinetics. The MoS 2 @NG electrode shows a reversible capacity of 975.9 mAh g -1 at 0.1 A g -1 after 100 cycles, and a reversible capacity of 325.2 mAh g -1 is still maintained after 300 cycles at 5 A g -1 . In addition, the MoS 2 @NG electrode exhibites an excellent rate performance benefiting from the electrochemical properties dominated by capacitive behavior. Self-driven photodetectors are widely used in communication and imaging. As a newly developed semiconductor material, perovskite quantum dots (QDs) are not only bandgap tunable, but also easily combined with other materials. In this paper, a vertical structure self-driven photodetector based on heterojunction of CsPbBr 3 QDs and PbS QDs is proposed, and the device is prepared by solution spin coating method. The device can work in visible and near infrared (400-1130 nm) regions, and has excellent performance, such as ultrafast response speed (rise and decay time are 0.4 μs/0.73 μs under 532 nm laser irradiation in self-driven mode, the estimated response time under 1064 nm laser irradiation is about 11.5 μs), more than 100 dB linear dynamic range for both visible and infrared regions, and good stability. Similarly, the responsivity of the photodetector can also reach an average of 10 mA W -1 , and the detectivity is 1.13 × 10 10 Jones at 0 V bias for 1064 nm laser irradiation. The device combines two kinds of QDs revealing its good prospects and great advantages in self-driven photodetectors and high-speed optical communication devices.
