Use of annealed alloy VT6 in highly loaded hermetically sealed threaded joints is not recommended.

The heat treatment of forming equipment used in manufacturing polyethylene parts should not produce the maximum hardness, since it leads to premature embrittlement and failure of the working surfaces. 3. To obtain forming equipment with a long service life it is necessary to create a permanent barrier to prevent contact of polyethylene with the surface of the metal.
