The present study aimed to explore the association between immunohistochemical markers and phyllodes tumor (PT). The retrospective case control study included biopsies from patients with PT who underwent surgical treatment, and patients with fibronenoma (FA), diagnosed in our hospital from October 2014 to May 2021. Differences in microscopic histopathological characteristics and expressions of common immunohistochemical markers (CD10, cluster of differentiation 117 marker, cluster of differentiation 34 marker, tumor protein P53, cell proliferation antigen) for different grades of PT and FA were analyzed. A total of 69 patients were enrolled, of them 34 with PT (12 with benign PT, 13 with borderline PT, and 9 with malignant PT) and 35 with FA. With the increase of tumor malignancy, significant enlargement trend was noted; for FA, most tumor boundaries were well-defined, the stromal distribution was homogeneous, the stromal cellularity was small. In contrast for PT, as the degree of malignancy increased, tumor boundary gradually became ill-defined and the stromal distribution was heterogeneous; stromal cellularity and stromal overgrowth had increased significantly (All P < .05). Multivariate analysis showed that among other markers only CD10 expression (OR = 0.67, 95%CI: -0.88, 2.22, P < .05) was independently associated with PT. Rationale: Mesenteric abscess, a rare abdominal infection, is regularly mostly secondary to inflammatory bowel disease, diverticula of the small intestine, or tuberculosis. Primary mesenteric abscesses are extremely rare. If not diagnosed and treated in a timely manner, it may lead to serious consequences; computerized tomography is highly beneficial for the diagnosis of this disease; timely surgical intervention, judicious use of antibiotics, and adequate nutritional support are crucial in the management of this disease., Patient Concerns: A 59-year-old male patient from China was admitted to hospital for intermittent abdominal pain accompanied by poor appetite for 10 days. One week before admission, the patient had been infected with corona virus disease 2019. Past history includes type 2 diabetes and post-operative gastric cancer., Diagnosis: The emergency abdominal computerized tomography examination results of the patient suggested that the mesentery was cloudy with a large amount of effusion and visible bubble. Mesentery abscess was considered, but duodenal perforation could not be excluded., Interventions: We adopted exploratory laparotomy to further clarify the diagnosis. Intraoperatically, after fully exposing the duodenum, we found extensive abscess formation in the mesentery, but no duodenal perforation. After operation, the patient developed duodenal leakage and was treated with gastric tube and jejunal nutrition tube., Outcomes: Postoperatively, due to poor general condition, the patient was transferred to intensive care unit; after anti-infective treatment, the condition improved on the 5th postoperative day, and duodenal leakage appeared on the 9th postoperative day, and conservative treatment was ineffective, and the patient eventually died., Lessons: Primary mesenteric abscess is a local tissue infectious disease. Whereas we should consider the physical basic condition of the patient during therapeutic process. Background: Alzheimer disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease characterized by impaired memory and cognitive judgment. It is the leading cause of dementia in the elderly, and its high morbidity and mortality have also brought a significant social burden. So far, there is no method can completely cure Alzheimer's dementia, but there are many non-drug treatments that have been praised by people, especially the cognitive behavioral therapy proposed in recent years. The main purpose of this article is to evaluate the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on the cognitive function improvement of patients with Alzheimer's dementia., Methods: We did a network meta-analysis to identify both direct and indirect evidence in relevant studies. A systematic literature search will be performed in the Cochrane Library, PubMed, and EMBASE from inception to October 2020. We extracted the relevant information from these trials with a predefined data extraction sheet and assessed the risk of bias with the Cochrane risk of bias tool.The outcomes investigated were Mini-Mental State Examination and AD Assessment Scale-Cognitive section scores. We did a pair-wise meta-analysis using the fixed-effects model and then did a random-effects network meta-analysis within a Bayesian framework. The = the Assessment of Multiple Systematic Reviews-2 scale, Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses scale and Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation were used to assess the quality and evidence grade of the literature. General characteristics of the eligible randomized controlled trials will be summarized and described. Meanwhile, The ADDIS software will be used to perform the network meta-analysis, and the result figures will be generated by STATA 15.0 software., Results: Using the draft search strategy of databases and after screening,7 randomized controlled trials met the a priori criteria and were included. This network mate-analysis will be published in a peer-reviewed journal., Conclusion: Our study will provide evidence for cognitive behavioral intervention in AD patients. Background: Chemotherapy with or without consolidation followed by autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is the first-line treatment for mantle cell lymphoma. However, the effectiveness and safety of bortezomib-based chemotherapy for patients with mantle cell lymphoma is still uncertain., Methods: In this systematic review, the electronic databases of Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, EMBASE, and PUBMED will be searched from inception to May 1, 2020. Randomized controlled trials that assessed the effectiveness and safety of bortezomib in combination with chemotherapy for patients with mantle cell lymphoma will be included. The patient's important outcomes include overall survival, progression-free survival, overall response rate, quality of life, and serious adverse events (eg, grade III-IV peripheral neuropathy, neutropenia, and infection). All process of the study selection, data extraction, and methodology evaluation will be carried out by 2 authors independently. RevMan 5.3 software will be utilized for statistical analysis., Results: This study will provide a detailed summary of latest evidence related to the effectiveness and safety of bortezomib in combination with chemotherapy in overall survival, progression-free survival, overall response rate, quality of life, and serious adverse events for patients with mantle cell lymphoma CONCLUSION:: The findings of this study may provide possible guidance for bortezomib in combination with chemotherapy for patients with mantle cell lymphoma., Systematic Review Registration: PROSPERO CRD 42020154938.

Background: Matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2), a member of the zinc-dependent metalloproteinase gene family, plays a vital role in cancer invasion, metastasis, and progression. This systematic review and meta-analysis aims to explore the clinical significance of MMP-2 expression in endometrial cancer., Methods: PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure databases were systematically searched up to September 30, 2017, supplemented by manual searches of bibliographies. Two reviewers independently identified articles, extracted data, assessed quality, and cross-checked the results. Meta-analysis was conducted to explore the difference in the positive rate of MMP-2 expression between patients with endometrial cancer and those with endometriosis or normal endometrium, and to investigate the associations of MMP-2 expression with clinicopathologic characteristics of patients with endometrial cancer. Weighted mean differences and risk ratios (RRs) with 95% confidence interval (CI) were calculated for continuous and dichotomous variables, respectively., Results: Totally 20 studies were selected for this systematic review and meta-analysis. Compared with those with endometriosis or normal endometria, the positive rate of MMP-2 expression is significantly higher in patients with endometrial cancer (RR = 2.31, 95% CI: 1.78-3.00, P < .01). MMP-2 expression was significantly associated with Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics stage (RR = 1.19, 95% CI: 1.09-1.31, P < .01), histologic grade (RR = 1.10, 95% CI: 1.01-1.19, P = .02), lymph node metastasis (RR = 1.32, 95% CI: 1.15-1.51, P < .01), and myometrial invasion (RR = 1.25, 95% CI: 1.12-1.38, P < .01)., Conclusion: The results showed that MMP-2 was expressed in high percentage of endometrial cancer and its expression may be associated closely with clinical stage, and tumor invasion and metastasis, indicating that MMP-2 overexpression may serve as a predictive factor for poor prognosis of endometrial cancer.
