This systematic review (SR) of SRs aims aimed to evaluate the current evidence of rehabilitation interventions in stroke patients after acupuncture treatment.Full-text SRs published in Chinese and English up to December 15, 2021 were searched in PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, CNKI, VIP, and Wanfang databases. The PRISMA statement and the assessment of multiple systematic reviews 2 (AMSTAR 2) scale were used to evaluate the quality of the included articles. The Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) system was employed to assess the outcome indicators for evidence quality evaluation.A number of 42 publications were identified in this study. According to these articles, 4 metabolic areas were identified: systolic blood pressure, weight loss, glycemic index and cholesterol. The acupuncture is beneficial to improve the systolic blood pressure of patients, and the effect of acupuncture on diastolic blood pressure is better than that of sham acupuncture. The weight loss effect of acupuncture is better than that of lifestyle and western medicine. The improvement effect of acupuncture on body mass index (BMI) is also better than that of sham acupuncture. In the study of glycemic index of stroke patients, acupuncture significantly improved glycosylated hemoglobin and insulin sensitivity index compared with western medicine. In cholesterol-related research, acupuncture can effectively improve the content of triglycerides. However, studies on HDL and LDL show that acupuncture can significantly improve HDL, but has no significant effect on LDL.This review summarizes the available evidence and underpins findings of the acupuncture exhibited the therapeutic role in eliminating metabolic risk factors for stroke, including systolic blood pressure, weight loss, glycemic index and cholesterol. Acupuncture could have positive effects on a specific symptom, and the effects depend not only on intervention type but also on how and when the intervention is provided. And more prioritizing high-quality research in this field in the future is conducive to guiding clinical practice.

To investigate the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and related factors, the symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among earthquake survivors in minority area 2 years after Jiuzhaigou earthquake. Two years after the Jiuzhaigou earthquake, a cross-sectional survey was conducted by a multi-stage sampling approach. HRQoL was measured by the short form 12 (SF-12), PTSD was measured by the PTSD Check List-Civilian Version (PCL-C), and social support was measured by the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. Descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA and multiple linear regression analysis were used for data analysis. Background: Posterior percutaneous endoscopic cervical diskectomy (P-PECD) can be used posterior microdiscectomy for cervical disc herniation. But only some small sample sizes of clinical studies have evaluated the efficacy and safety of P-PECD. This study aim to evaluated the efficacy and safety of P-PECD compared with traditional open surgery. Methods: We will search the following seven electronic databases from their initiation to the May 1, 2020: PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM) and Wanfang database. All randomized controlled trials, non-randomized controlled trials and retrospective case controls that compared the efficacy and safety of P-PECD and traditional open surgery in the treatment of cervical disc herniation will be included. Rationale Micrognathia is a subtle facial malformation characterized by a small mandible and receding chin. Fetal micrognathia is often associated with chromosomal abnormalities, skeletal dysplasia, and various syndromes. Once it is dignosised, detailed fetal malformation screening and chromosome examination should be carried out. Patient concern One pregnant woman with suspicion of fetal micrognathia was referred from her local hospital to our hospital for detailed fetal malformation screening and fetal echocardiography. Examination of the fetus was performed using a two-dimensional and three-dimensional ultrasound probe in multiple planes. The fetus showed micrognathia without glossoptosis with features of the inferior facial angle (IFA) ≤50° and his tongue reached anterior mandibular border box during normal movement. Diagnoses The fetus was diagnosed as isolated micrognathia prenatally without multisystem abnormalities. Interventions Amniocentesis was performed and the fetus was found to carry 46XN with 6q14.1 duplication, the significance of which was unclear. Outcomes The fetus was labored through vagina at 38 weeks gestation. A small soft cleft palate was diagnosed after delivery. Lessons This case suggests that once prenatal diagnosis of the fetal micrognathia has been made, we should carefully examine the presence of fetus's multisystem developmental abnormalities and due consideration should be given for associated soft cleft palate.

We used the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results database to identify aged patients (>65 years) with early stage rectal cancer (RC) (T1–T4, N0, M0) in the United States from 2004 to 2010.
