Six engineers— three of them ASME members— are among the 57 recipients of the 2003 Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers. The award recognizes researchers who have displayed leadership in their field at early stages of their careers. The recipients, who are government-supported scientists and engineers, were announced in September 2004 the National Science Foundation.
