This paper combines the concept of an arbitrary binary connection with the widely recognized principle of θ -contraction to investigate the innovative features of vector-valued metric spaces. This methodology demonstrates the existence of fixed points for both single- and multi-valued mappings within complete vector-valued metric spaces. Through the utilization of binary relations and θ -contraction, this study advances and refines the Perov-type fixed-point results in the literature. Furthermore, this article furnishes examples to substantiate the validity of the presented results. The goal of this study is to describe the class of modified Sehgal–Guseman-like contraction mappings and set up some fixed-point results in S -metric spaces. The class of generalized Sehgal–Guseman-like contraction mappings contains enhancements of Banach contractions, Kannan contractions, Chatterjee contractions, Chatterjee-type contractions, quasi-contractions, Ćirić–Reich–Rus-type contractions, Hardy–Rogers-type contractions, Reich-type contractions, interpolative Kannan contractions, interpolative Chatterjee contractions, among others, with their generalizations in S -metric spaces. In this study, the authors verify fixed-point results for Geraghty contractions with a restricted co-domain of the auxiliary function in the context of generalized metric structure, namely the S b -metric space. This new idea of defining Geraghty contraction for self-operators generalizes a large number of previously published, closely related works on the presence and uniqueness of a fixed point in S b -metric space. Also, the outcomes are achieved by removing the continuity constraint of self-operators. The aim of the present research article is to investigate the existence and uniqueness of a solution to the integral equation and homotopy result. To achieve our objective, we introduce the notion of ( α , η , ψ )-contraction in the framework of F -bipolar metric space and prove some fixed point results for covariant and contravariant mappings. The primary objective of the paper is to present the Banach contraction theorem in soft fuzzy metric spaces while taking into consideration a restriction on the soft fuzzy metric between the soft points of the absolute soft set. A new altering distance function, namely the Ψ -contraction function, is introduced on soft fuzzy metric spaces, and some fixed point results are proven by considering soft mappings that comprise Ψ -contraction with the continuity of soft t-norm. This article introduces the concept of partially controlled J metric spaces; in particular, the J metric space with self-distance is not necessarily zero, which is important in computer science. This paper aims to introduce the concept of rational type revised fuzzy-contraction mappings in revised fuzzy metric spaces. Gregori and Romaguera introduced, in 2004, the notion of a KM-fuzzy quasi-metric space as a natural asymmetric generalization of the concept of fuzzy metric space in the sense of Kramosil and Michalek. Ever since, various authors have discussed several aspects of such spaces, including their topological and (quasi-)metric properties as well as their connections with domain theory and their relationship with other fuzzy structures. In particular, the development of the fixed point theory for these spaces and other related ones, such as fuzzy partial metric spaces, has received remarkable attention in the last 15 years. Continuing this line of research, we here establish general fixed point theorems for left and right complete Hausdorff KM-fuzzy quasi-metric spaces, which are applied to deduce characterizations of these distinguished kinds of fuzzy quasi-metric completeness. Our approach, which mixes conditions of Suzuki-type with contractions of α − ϕ -type in the well-known proposal of Samet et al., allows us to extend and improve some recent theorems on complete fuzzy metric spaces. Our paper is devoted to describing a new way of generalized convex contraction of type-2 in the framework of b-metric spaces and 2-metric spaces. In the present work, we have introduced a new type of (ξ , ω) -weakly cyclic generalized contraction in the setting of metric spaces and established some fixed-point results. This paper deals with the question of achieving a suitable extension of the notion of Suzuki-type contraction to the framework of quasi-metric spaces, which allows us to obtain reasonable fixed point theorems in the quasi-metric context. This question has no an easy answer; in fact, we here present an example of a self map of Smyth complete quasi-metric space (a very strong kind of quasi-metric completeness) that fulfills a simple and natural contraction of Suzuki-type but does not have fixed points. Despite it, we implement an approach to obtain two fixed point results, whose validity is supported with several examples. The exploration of contractive inequalities which do not imply the continuity of the mapping at fixed points was an interesting open problem for quite some time. The main purpose of this paper is to improve, generalize, unify, extend and enrich the recent results established by Dung and Hang (2015), Piri and Kumam (2014, 2016), and Singh et al. (2018). In our proofs, we only use the property (F1) of Wardowski's F-contraction, while the many authors in their papers still use all tree properties of F-contraction as well as two new properties introduced by Piri and Kumam. Our approach in this paper indicates that for most results with F-contraction, property (F1) is sufficient. Very recently, by considering a self-mapping T on a complete metric space satisfying a general contractivity condition of the form ψ (d (T x , T y)) ≤ φ (d (x , y)) , Proinov proved some fixed-point theorems, which extended and unified many existing results in the literature. Accordingly, inspired by Proinov-type contraction conditions, Roldán López de Hierro et al. introduced a novel family of contractions in fuzzy metric spaces (in the sense of George and Veeramani), whose main advantage is the very weak constraints imposed on the auxiliary functions that appear in the contractivity condition. They also proved the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for the discussed family of fuzzy contractions in the setting of non-Archimedean fuzzy metric spaces. In this paper, we introduce a new family of fuzzy contractions based on Proinov-type contractions for which the involved auxiliary functions are not supposed to satisfy any monotonicity assumptions; further, we establish some new results about the existence and uniqueness of fixed points. Furthermore, we show how the main results in the above-mentioned paper can be deduced from our main statements. In this way, our conclusions provide a positive partial solution to one of the open problems posed by such authors for deleting or weakening the hypothesis of the nondecreasingness character of the auxiliary functions. The present paper aims to introduce the concept of weak-fuzzy contraction mappings in the graph structure within the context of fuzzy cone metric spaces. Simulation functions were introduced by Khojasteh et al. as a method to extend several classes of fixed point theorems by a simple condition. After that, many researchers have amplified the knowledge of such kind of contractions in several ways. R-functions, (R , S) -contractions and (A , S) -contractions can be considered as approaches in this direction. A common characteristic of the previous kind of contractive maps is the fact that they are defined by a strict inequality. In this manuscript, we show the advantages of replacing such inequality with a weaker one, involving a family of more general auxiliary functions. As a consequence of our study, we show that not only the above-commented contractions are particular cases, but also another classes of contractive maps correspond to this new point of view. In this manuscript, we define generalized Kincses-Totik type contractions within the context of metric space and consider the existence of a fixed point for such operators. Kincses-Totik type contractions extends the renowned Banach contraction mapping principle in different aspects. First, the continuity condition for the considered mapping is not required. Second, the contraction inequality contains all possible geometrical distances. Third, the contraction inequality is formulated for some iteration of the considered operator, instead of the dealing with the given operator. Fourth and last, the iteration number may vary for each point in the domain of the operator for which we look for a fixed point. Consequently, the proved results generalize the acknowledged results in the field, including the well-known theorems of Seghal, Kincses-Totik, and Banach-Caccioppoli. In this paper, we introduce the (𝒞 , Ψ * , G) class of contraction mappings using C-class functions and some improved control functions for a pair of set valued mappings as well as a pair of single-valued mappings, and prove common fixed point theorems for such mappings in a metric space endowed with a graph.
