The study investigated the factors that influence library usage by students with disabilities at United College of Education in Zimbabwe. The study employed a qualitative approach. Interviews were held with sixteen students with disabilities, the chief librarian, two library assistants, and one library intern. Data were also collected through observations. Results reveal that great effort has been made to provide inclusive library services to students with disabilities; however, challenges remain. These include: physical inaccessibility of the library to students living with disabilities, lack of infrastructure to support available assistive technologies, information resources that do not accommodate students living with disabilities, and staff that is not adequately trained to handle users with disabilities. The study contributes to global debate about provision of library services to people living with disabilities from a Zimbabwean perspective. Around the world, libraries face the challenge of being underutilized, and special libraries in Sri Lanka in particular are no exception. Studies show that this can be overcome through marketing. Current study determines how marketing is applied in special libraries in the Colombo district, Sri Lanka and their future prospects in marketing. The study identifies the current marketing activities, marketing techniques and librarians' perception towards marketing in selected special libraries (n=50) in the Colombo district. Findings revealed that special libraries under study have a sufficient number of resources acquired and market opportunities available. However, it is assumed that unintentional marketing is been carried out in a majority of libraries as reflected by the absence of a marketing plan, absence of user surveys and lack of persuasive communication with parent organization for undertaking marketing. Most librarians give priority to promotional works such as conducting awareness programs, focusing on public relations, designing new information products and advertising library events and services. Techniques used for marketing were email lists, library website, seminar and workshops, traditional communication methods and social media. A majority of librarians were of the view that marketing concept can be applied to special libraries. Periodical collections, library spaces and infrastructure were identified as highly marketable resources. Other libraries are not considered as a challenge when employing marketing practices in their own library but respondents hold a mixed perception regarding how users would react to marketing practices if they are implemented in their libraries. The urge to diversify workplaces has spread nationwide. Although many institutions feel that formal statements and pledges are enough to satisfy the public outcry, actions such as setting up a direct plan to address the rejection of neutrality, to expand the access of materials, and actively hiring and promoting a racially diverse staff are less often seen. In America's libraries in particular, good-natured sentiments about how a modern, socially diverse library should look are met with half-hearted efforts. While some libraries, such as the Oregon Library Association, are making significant strides towards their intended directions, others, such as the Rural Branch Library in Mississippi, continue to wallow behind by clinging onto a collection of books which promote racist ideologies. The collection at the Rural Branch Library is the result of many contributing factors, however the lack of acknowledgment of the harm these materials bring is the result of maintaining a neutral stance on race relations issues. Another example of this is the lack of high-quality resources available in other languages that can serve the portions of communities who are not native English speakers. This can be remedied with the growing number of digital resources that are available in multiple languages for patrons who speak languages other than English and be beneficial to all users by exposing them to contemporary and diverse literature. Lastly, for libraries to show they are truly committed to the cause of creating an inclusive environment, they must actively participate in recruiting and employing people of color. This study aimed to investigate the current status online services portfolio of web OPACs and users' expectations with web OPACs of public and private sector university libraries in Lahore, Pakistan. The researcher administrated a self-reported instrument (reviewed by experts and pilot tested with Cronbach's alpha value.86) and collected data from n=425 respondents selected using a stratified convenient sampling technique. This study reported that mostly services offered by web OPACs are satisfying users' expectations. Hence, some of the services need to be improved as per users' opinion. It has also been ascertained that 18 out of 34 university libraries have not yet developed and provided web OPAC services. The present study employed a quantitative research approach to explore users' perceptions of e-libraries established under the Punjab E-Library Project (PELP) in Punjab, Pakistan. On the basis of the literature review, a questionnaire was developed to gather necessary data for addressing the research questions. The quantitative data was collected from users of four elibraries by employing the convenience sampling technique. The findings indicate that the majority of the respondents used e-libraries to gain benefit from their resources and services. The respondents used various electronic gadgets, such as desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets to access and use resources and services of the libraries. The respondents viewed services of the libraries as reliable, user-friendly, and easily accessible. E-resources offered by the libraries adequately meet their information needs. The findings have implications for the library administration and LIS professionals to continue and further improve resources and services of the libraries in accordance with users' needs and expectation. The Research was conducted on Factors Influencing Selection and Acquisition of legal information resources in university Law libraries: A case study of University of Jos Law Library, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. Four (4) objectives were formulated to guide the study which are to: Determine how often University of Jos Law Library acquire Legal Materials; Find out the criteria used in Selection of Legal Materials in University of Jos Law Library; Find out the methods used in Acquisition of Legal Materials in University of Jos Law Library and ascertain the challenges faced by Law Library in acquiring Legal Materials. Survey research design was used for this study; the population of the study was 150 registered users and 18 staff of the University of Jos Law Library. Therefore, the total population of the study is 168. Simple random sampling was used by the researcher to select 35 respondents out of 168 that was used as a sample for the study. The questionnaire was used as the instrument for data collection. Data were analyzed using frequency count and percentage tables. The study revealed that The University of Jos Law Library acquired legal materials very frequently. It was further revealed that there are some criteria used for selection and acquisition of legal materials in University of Jos Law Library, which includes, authoritativeness of the publishers or producers, significance of the subject matter based on collection assessment, importance/reputation of the author, among others. These were few among other findings. In accordance with the findings, the researcher made some recommendations for the Library management which was about the need for ensuring that audiovisual materials and special collection/government publications that were not acquired, to be acquired for the use of all users and for the University Law Library to have a written collection development policy. Introduction: Generally, African University libraries can be said to be among the late adopters of ILS technologies in their service range. As of 2022, Makerere University Library is in the initial stages of migrating from Virtua ILS to Koha ILS. Yet adopting ILS is an expensive and time consuming endeavour. Therefore, there is a need for strategic "useful" deployment of ILS in any academic library. Objective: This paper attempted to assess the strategic alignment of the Integrated Library Systems (ILS) in Makerere University Library to achieve strategic fit within the corporate environment of the University and achieve the institutional strategy. Methodology: The was conducted using a qualitative research paradigm. In adopting the qualitative research paradigm, two approaches of this study were used; that is literature survey and case study design. Data was collected using the interview method and the observation method. Findings and conclusion: There are noticeable mixed fortunes in Makerere University Library when it comes to the establishment of ILS. Almost all the technologies required and that have so far been implemented are imported and are quite expensive. Despite this, evidence exists that there is active investment in the University Library as it marches towards the attainment of its strategy. The existence of the mosque is a holy place for Muslims. Apart from being a place of worship, it also functions as a center for Muslim activities in regulating the life of Muslims. Mosques have many functions, one of which is as an educational institution. So that this function can support activities related to the life of the people and run well and optimally, it is necessary to have supporting facilities and infrastructure. One of the supporting facilities and infrastructure for mosques as educational institutions is a library, which will provide reading facilities that can increase knowledge and religious insight for Muslims. One of the efforts to empower mosques is to seek a mosque library. This study aims to determine the development and trend map of the Mosque Library published by well-known journals in the library field. The data analyzed were more than 92 research publications indexed by Scopus. The export data is then processed and analyzed using the R Biblioshiny application program to find out the bibliometric map of the Mosque Library's development. The results showed that the number of publications on the development of the role of library research continued to increase. This study investigated staffing and supervision as predictors of students' satisfaction with library services in public secondary schools in Imo State. The study was guided by 2 research questions and 2 hypotheses. The design of the study is a linear correlational design. The population of the study is 94,968. This is made up of 94693 Senior Secondary School Students and 275 librarians from 275 public secondary schools in Imo State. The sample size for this study is 660 librarians and SS2 students from 110 public secondary schools (110 librarians and SS2 550 students). The sampling techniques used in this study are multi-stage, purposive, simple random and disproportionate sampling techniques. Two types of research instruments were used to collect data for this study namely, School Library Management Scale (SLMS) for school librarians and Students' Satisfaction with Library Services Scale (SSLSS) for Students. The data collected were analyzed using Pearson (r) for the research questions and t-test of significance of correlation for hypotheses. The major findings of the study showed that; there is a very low positive relationship between staffing and students' satisfaction with library services. It was also established that there is a very low positive relationship between supervision and students' satisfaction with library services, but the relationships are not significant. Based on these findings, the study recommended that; since the efficiency of any library and how it satisfies its users depends mainly on the competence of the human beings recruited to manage it, the researcher recommends the employment of qualified and professional librarians in our secondary school libraries; there should be good and proper supervision of both staff and users of library services to check the non-challant attitude of both for smooth running of the libraries. This research discusses the existence and innovation of libraries in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Online learning is carried out by utilizing technology as a means of connecting educators and students. Libraries as a place to provide sources of information to support the learning process must always improve themselves to show the best and be prepared to keep up with the times. The transformation of library management to digital must be given priority, so that libraries can exist in the midst of a pandemic. Library support in teaching and learning activities is very important, especially in fulfilling the information needs of the academic community in a university. The purpose of this study was to analyze the existence and support of the UIN Jakarta Medical Faculty Library in the online learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The results of the interview revealed that the limitations and online learning carried out by medical students made libraries try to make new innovations in supporting the teaching and learning process during the adaptation period of new habits during the pandemic Covid-19. From these findings, it has resulted in several new innovations in the form of providing remote access control that can be accessed through open public access cataloging and websites for various library collections and the convenience of various online library services. Libraries improve a country's society quality through development, change, as well as science and technology. The Indonesian National Library has adopted social inclusion-based library services to improve society's quality of life through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program. Therefore, this research aimed to examine the social inclusion-based library transformation program implementation in Indonesia. Qualitative methods were used with data collected through semi-structured interviews and documentation. The data were analysed by the thematic analysis technique, which identifies patterns of research phenomena and involved three themes, including program concept, strategy, and targets. Furthermore, the program concept explains the basis of the Social Inclusion-Based Library Transformation program in providing knowledge, learning, and social activities. The strategy explains the National Library's implementation of cooperation between local officials, governmental and non-governmental agencies, facilities and infrastructure development, facilitating intermediaries, and providing information. Lastly, the theme of the target explains the established goals by the Social Inclusion-Based Library Transformation program for the society and program focus area. Libraries and information centres accumulate information and achieve the users' information needs. The users' information need varies according to their different fields of interest. The library professionals and information centres need to fulfil the changing needs of the users. Through users' studies, we get the idea of where the users are using optimal information and know where the library must improve the services. A study was carried to gauge the services provided by the public libraries to the users of Murshidabad District, West Bengal. Survey methods and questionnaire tools were applied to conduct this study. The study found that users improve their reading skills in several ways by using public libraries. It was found that the users need more services like computer facilities, photocopies facility, beverage facility, newspapers, magazines, more subject related books, and journals publicly libraries of Murshidabad District. The study was carried out to ascertain the significance of collection development policy in some public academic libraries in Ghana with Ghana Communication Technology University as the case study. The study adopted a case study design and used a qualitative method in its examinations. A self-designed interview schedule was used to solicit information from the staff library. The study participants included the head librarian, deputy librarian and four (4) assistant librarians. The face-to-face interview method was used as a data collection instrument for this study-content analysis was used to analyse the data. The findings indicated that the university library has a CDP which is reviewed biennially. However, further findings revealed that even though CDPs exist in the library it does not feature much when it comes to acquisitions. Libraries have seen a significant transformation in terms of both resources and services in the 21st century. The emergence and widespread use of digital repositories and digital libraries is an important step in this regard. The Ministry of Education set up the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) for the benefit of Indian academics. In order to better understand how well students and researchers at the Central University of Kerala are aware of the digital resources offered by the NDLI, as well as how they utilize such resources and services, this study will look at both of these factors. This study applied simple random sampling procedures to randomly choose a sample of students and scholars, and then they used online closed questionnaires to collect data from them. The current study explored the state art of NDLI among the Central University Kerala users and found the NDLI's resources and services are not fully exploited, despite the fact that the majority of students are aware of them. Many of the respondents are still ignorant of the NDLI's instruments and have not used the services, which are crucial to their research and academic work. Purpose: University libraries playing pivotal role in developing and delivering education among university community by providing authentic information resources in terms of books, magazines, academic research journals etc. Collection development policies adopted to select and purchase the library print and electronic resources which worked as a guide for decision making. The purpose of this study is to propose the collection development policy which will help the acquisition librarians in selecting, evaluating and purchasing the materials for academic/universities libraries. Methodology: The trends of collection development practices were identified through the intensive literature review. Then, the university libraries of Lahore were personally visited to understand their collection development policies and practices. Moreover, the acquisition librarians from outside of Lahore were contacted via phone call to understand and discuss the collection development process in their libraries. Findings: The study findings revealed that there is no systematic written policy for assessment, selection, evaluation and deselection of library material at the universities libraries of Pakistan. Even, the acquisition process of books in universities libraries vary from university to university and even province to province. However, the proposed collection development policy revealed that the automatic receiving of books and other library materials via gifts, donations, exchanging library materials, resource sharing, and subscribing memberships of other organizations will be helpful to enhance the library collection and also reduce the cost to purchase the library materials. The proposed steps for collection development will act as a segment of complete collection development policy and may work as a guide line of collection development procedure to the universities libraries. Resource sharing is an important and widely well-known concept in the field of library science. The concept is recognized by the term library networking which deals with the interconnection of libraries so that the participating libraries can share information and resources effectively. It aids to overcome the limitations like enormous cost of purchase, bibliography handling, storage of material etc. as a result of the exponential growth in the information produced. Resource sharing is a solution to optimize library resources. Thus, resource sharing in libraries has become essential in current scenario, and it commands world-wide acceptance. Based on the literature review it can be said that academic libraries, especially in developing countries should continue subscribing to information resources through the Consortium Building (CB) and explore their usage by ensuring total addressing of patrons information needs. Also government should earmark appropriate funds for the purchase of information technologies facilities needed by academic libraries for resource sharing. The paper recommended that the least forms of resources sharing like Inter library loan should be given priority especially for rare information resources that have high demand but their supply is low and exist in print format to start with. The work further recommends that academic libraries should formulate effective policies that will ensure library resource information sharing is properly conducted in academic libraries. The paper is on capacity building for sustainable digital information services in 21st century administration of academic libraries in Nigeria. Capacity building is termed as the building or the development of organization's facilities, equipment, provisions, features, amenities, infrastructures and resources (human and physical) to foster growth and expansion. As such, capacity building needs to be introduced in the library which includes the professional building of human resources (professional library staff and other para-professional workers) and material resources. To achieve this goal, education and trainings on administration are given to the library staff for effective, efficient output and productivity. It can therefore be concluded that capacity building in academic libraries is very essential and crucial especially when considering the imperativeness of the services rendered by librarians for the general satisfaction of the intellectual quests of patron. The services must be rendered with ethics, principles and standard in order to maximize the output of the libraries. It can therefore be recommended that library staff should be trained and re-trained on administration for the benefit of delivering a wellrounded service in the library. Purpose: This study assessed the public libraries of Sindh in terms of information and human resources, services and the problems faced by the libraries in the delivery of services. Methodology: The study was quantitative in nature and survey research method was used to achieve the desired objectives. There were 30 public libraries, which constituted the study's population and data was collected from heads/incharge of libraries through the questionnaire. The data was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 23. Results: The heads of most libraries were non-professionals, and some libraries were worked with very few staff. The availability of information resources was found inadequate and resources such as maps, reports, theses & dissertations, rare books, and e-books were found in very few libraries. The services such as open shelf, circulation, reference and current awareness services were offered by most libraries; however, SDI, audiovisual, document reservation, interlibrary loan, orientation and scanning services were offered by few libraries. The major problems faced by the libraries were lack of training opportunities, non-availability of integrated library software, insufficient information, human and financial resources, limited e-resources and lack of commitment from the management. Implications: The study's findings could be beneficial to the concerned authorities. The key points to be considered include 1) information resources should be procured both in printed and electronic formats, 2) the existing facilities and services should be upgraded and extended to other libraries and, 3) sufficient funds should be provided to acquire information resources, develop proper infrastructure and launched new services. Purpose - This study aims to evaluate the library websites of selected state and deemed universities in Delhi, capital city of India to ascertain how effectively libraries are leveraging their respective websites to provide library related information on their websites. Design/Methodology - The study adopted the checklist technique to evaluate the content of library's websites. A comprehensive checklist was designed on the basis of previous studies. It consists of 6 main aspects which are further divided into 66 elements. Findings -The study reveals that library related information such as general library information, about collection, links to e-resources, library services, currency and authority of websites are presented on the university library websites but not to the full extent. Web 2.0 tools are used by least libraries where only 2 libraries have library Facebook page, and only one has a library blog. DTU scored the highest, 45 out of 66 and Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) scored the least 13 out of 66 in overall ranking of websites based on elements presented on their websites. Originality/Value - The study suggested that libraries need to incorporate more information on their websites to promote the use of library resources and services. Libraries need to have a dedicated website and provide all the valuable and relevant information related to the library on their websites. The study explored Information needs and Information Seeking Behaviour of Lecturers in Edo State College of Nursing Sciences (Edocns). The study was guided by four objectives Descriptive survey was used. The population of the study was the 46 Lecturers in Edo State College of Nursing Sciences (Edocns). No sample size due to the small population. Closed ended Questionnaire was used in data collection which included a four likert scale (4-1). 46 copies of the questionnaire were administered, 41 were filled, returned and found usable representing 89.1% response rate. Percentage and Means were used in data analysis. The study established that teaching and research Materials was the major information needs of lecturers in the college. The findings also revealed that the internet was mostly the source utilised by Lecturers and not the library despite the positive view about the college library, this could be as a result of the inadequate resources in the Library and inadequate retrieval skills (use of Library OPAC, search engine etc.) as indicated by the lecturers as the major challenges faced when seeking for their information needs. The study recommended among other that the library should ensure that more information resources especially scholarly materials that to meet the teaching and research needs of the lecturers should be acquired and the lecturers should acquire more information literacy skills in order to be able to retrieve needed information from the library and as well as the internet. The use of information resources and services provided in the Library is paramount to undergraduates' educational activities. However, low use of information resources and services have been presumed among undergraduates hence the study examined the use of information resources and services among undergraduates in Ibadan Library School. The study population consisted of 144 undergraduates in the Ibadan Library School. Total enumeration was used. Questionnaire and interview guide were used for data collection and the data was analysed using descriptive statistics. The findings revealed that undergraduates use the library more during examination periods and hardly use the library outside examination periods. Respondents stated that they use the library information resources and services for assignments 95.1%, learning 92.6%, examination purposes 89.3%, class preparations 86.9% and for self-development, 86.1%. Poor Internet connectivity, small reading space, and epileptic power supply were the major challenges encountered the use of information resources and services, in Ibadan Library School. To further encourage the use of information resources and services among undergraduates, the Library space should be expanded to increase in the accommodating capacity of the library. the Library should employ more qualified hands to run shifts and reduce work overload on the few staff present in the library, also the Library should organise seminars and workshops to enlighten the undergraduates of the benefits of using the library information resources and services. This paper aims to determine the satisfaction level of DVM students of Benguet State University with the resources of the Veterinary Medicine Library and their usage of these resources. It also aims to determine students' access to and utilization of scientific papers. A structured survey was adapted to gather data from fifty-seven (57) 2021 graduating DVM students. Data were interpreted using frequency count, percentage, ranking, and mean. The study confirms that the resources of the Veterinary Medicine library fulfill the academic needs of DVM students of Benguet State University. A strong need to enhance Internet connectivity in the library was also reflected in the results. Moreover, results show that students tend to read scientific papers for the reason that they are being required. The students' self-assessment result positioned themselves neutral when asked regarding their ability to interpret data from scientific papers and whether they find it easy to read scientific papers. The NLI has a significant impact on the lives of Jews in Israel and around the world. Millions of documents are undergoing the digital conservation, processing, and scanning process to preserve the cultural DNA of heritage. The selection of social media as a promotional media is to make it easier for the public to know all forms of social inclusion-based library services and facilities. This research aims to describe the effectiveness of social inclusion-based library promotion through social media. This research uses a quantitative approach. The variable in this study was a single variable i.e. the effectiveness of the promotion of social inclusion libraries through social media. Instruments in research use AISAS theory, namely attention, interest, search, action, and share. The sampling technique in this study is random sampling. The data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires and observations. Calculation of validity and reliability of data using SPSS application version 23.0 for windows. The results showed that the effectiveness of social inclusion-based library promotion through social media showed a percentage of 72.2% (effective). With a result on each attention indicator of 81.25% (highly effective); 77% interest (effective); search 71.75% (effective); 82% of actions (very effective); and share 74% (effective). With the advent of ICT tools and techniques in library environment library website has served as a gateway to reach out to library system and services. The present study deals with analysis of the content of top ten NIRF ranked universities located within India as per the rank list published in the year 2021 by taking into account 58 criteria arranged in nine checklists. From the study it was found that all the university libraries taken under study have covered a whole range of information related to general information, library collection and E-resources possessed by them. The study seeks to evaluate the accessibility and use of library resources in the North Campus Library of the University of Education, Winneba. The study was a survey and made use of a questionnaire as research instrument. The target population consisted of all Level 300 Basic Education students and Social Studies students numbering 500 as at 2019/2020 academic year. A sample size of 300 representing 20% of the population was selected through random sampling. focusing on accessibility of how and to suggest ways through its findings and recommend solution to those challenges. The questionnaire was analyzed using frequency tables and percentages. Findings of the study were that students were not using libraries to support their learning and other academic activities as they lacked searching and library use skills. Where the library is sited at the last floor of the faculty block makes it sometime difficult for these are some of the setbacks that hinders students accessing the North Campus Library for research and for their information needs. It was recommended among other things that, student should be introduce to information literacy skills to help them analyse information problems and structure their searches so as to find their own answers. College libraries are integral part of higher education institutions and they play an important role in raising the standard of education. The study was conducted at Sri JCBM College, Sringeri to assess users’ awareness and utilization of library resources and services. The data were collected using a structured questionnaire and personal visits to the said college library. Convenience sampling technique was used to collect the data. Seventy structured questionnaires were distributed and 52 duly filled questionnaires were returned back, the response rate is 76.04%. The data were analyzed using SPSS software (16.0) and Excel. The study revealed that the majority (86%) of the users are visiting library daily. The study revealed that majority of the users have awareness on almost all the services provided by the library. The majority of the users always use internet browsing service (50%), Reference service (44.23%) and Book bank facility (40.38%) while they visit the library. The users were satisfied with various resources and services provided by the library. The study suggested to provide a separate digital library with the adequate number of computers with high speed internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, access to more number of e-resources including CDs/DVDs and online journals to the users in the library. As the life cycle of information products has become increasingly digital from “cradle to grave,” the nature of electronic information management has dramatically changed. These changes have brought new strategies and methods as well as new issues and challenges. At the bottom line the services are increasingly delivered to a desktop from distributed publishers or information providers. Information organizations act either as primary information providers or as brokers between the user and the primary service provider. Hence, the study examines the collection management and utilization of e-resources by postgraduate students in University of Ibadan. Descriptive survey design was employed for this study and the study population consisted of 312 postgraduate students in University of Ibadan. Also, the study adopted both qualitative and quantitative methods for data collection. A multi-stage sampling technique was used to select the sample of the study from 3 faculties (Arts, Education and Science) using a sampling fraction of 10%. Questionnaire was the instruments used for data collection from respondents. The questionnaire was analysed using simple frequency for research questions while content analysis was used for analyzing the In-depth interview conducted. The result of the findings revealed that 100% of the respondent indicated that on monthly basis acquisition of e-resources was done through subscription, 85.3% stated that quarterly the University of Ibadan purchase e-resources while 56.1% of the respondents believe that on yearly basis the acquisition could be done through consortia while some of the respondents believe that on monthly basis, acquisition of e-resources is done through open internet sources. On the accessibility of e-resources, 56.1% stated that they accessed e-resources through the library dedicated computers while 70.5% strong agreed that they accessed e-resources in their library through their personal computers, on the same note, 64.1% stated that the university ICT centre has been their source of accessibility to e-resources in the university. On the frequency of acquiring e-resources, showed that majority 56.1% of the respondents of this study revealed that e-journal on weekly interval, while on the daily basis, 85.6% revealed that they use e-portal. In addition, 70.5% revealed that Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is acquired monthly, Maps was acquired quarterly in the university library. In conclusion, the purpose for using e-resources in the university revealed that 56.1% agreed that e-resources were used for assignment, while 70.5% agreed that it was used for classwork, it was all agreed that e-resources is used as supplement for study notes, on the same note 70.8% strongly agreed that e-resources were used for project consultation, On the same vein, 80.8% strongly agreed that e-resources is used during Theses writing. It is however concluded that The University Library should increase bandwidth and online journal subscriptions, seeking more funds to do so. More bandwidth will also improve access time as the systems will work faster. Subscriptions to print journals should be maintained. An advance in information and communication technology has challenged all the service sectors including libraries and information centres. Providing reliable information services through library websites that is easy and intuitive for the user is a major concern for the entire library professional. This work is a case study on the library website of the Indian Institute of Astrophysics. Formerly the library had Libsys 4.0 as the library automation software and presently it has been migrated to Koha 20.05. The study aims to explore the factors the institute takes into consideration for renovating the website. The new website of IIA Library is a visual example of an integrated library management system where all the spectrums of the library modules are brought down under a single platform designed in Koha. The study design is based on descriptive and exploratory analysis of the former and the later website. The case-study method of the study brings out the possible methods exercised in the process of data correction and migration from LibSys to Koha. For libraries and information centres or other similar institutes planning for a website migration, this case study can provide a point of initiation and culminate the important points required for the revamp. It is known that rural libraries have an important role in increasing literacy and improving the quality of life of the community by holding empowerment activities. This study aims to determine the role of the Leshutama Library in the community empowerment of Pakisaji Village, Kalidawir District, Tulungagung, East Java, Indonesia. The research is a case study done using a qualitative approach. The subject of this research was the Leshutama Library in which 7 persons were determined as the informants. Sources of data obtained in this study include primary and secondary data sources. Data collection was done through observation, in-depth interviews, and document. Data analysis was done using data reduction and presentation from which conclusions could be drawn. The result of this research is that the Leshutama Library plays an active role in empowering the community in various fields, namely the environment, community skills, and literacy. In the environmental field, the result could be shown from the library’s initiative to plant trees and preserve forests, in improving community skills, the library conducts manual screen printing and soybean fermentation training, and in literacy by providing reading collection materials and form study groups. Overview: Electronic resources are becoming more and more imperative and valuable for the academic community. This is a matter of concern, as presently, electronic resources and the internet are considered extremely important tools for effective teaching and research. Many users need to know the complete potential of electronic resources. Nowadays college students are using more and more e-resources but all those e-resources are not authentic as most of them are directly access the e-resources by using the Google search engine. Purpose: The purposes of the study are to explore the level of awareness of e-resources, their usage pattern, how frequently college students use the e-resources. The study also tried to reveal the perception of college students on the use of electronic resources, the challenges faced by them while using electronic resources, and their level of satisfaction with using the e-resources. Methodology: The study adopted a descriptive survey design and a well-designed online questionnaire was used to collect data. The respondents were college students from various colleges in Assam. The questionnaire was administered among college students to collect the necessary primary data, keeping in view the objectives of the study. Findings: The major findings of the study are 52.81% of the respondents are highly aware of the e-resources. E-books are the highly used e-resources. The smartphone is the most used device for accessing e-resources as replied by 87.29% of the respondents. 53.49% of the respondents stated that they are highly satisfied by using e-resources. The article looks at several facilities available in the libraries of Agricultural Research Institutes in Nigeria such as serials collection, library services, and special services that include selective dissemination of information, contents search, and reprography. The research methodology used was a social survey research involving systematic collection of opinion data, attitudes, feelings, and behaviors of people using questionnaire, structured interview, and direct observation. The results of assessments of user satisfaction with several different electronic resources, the library's collection, and overall effectiveness of the library are discussed.

The article assesses the effectiveness of the resources in Nigeria's agricultural research institute libraries based on the satisfaction of users. It notes that the users were not satisfied with the libraries' electronic resources and collections. It mentions that the libraries failed to support research mandate of the institution. It also emphasizes that the ineffectiveness led to gross underfunding of the libraries by the parent institutions.

The article presents the discussion on the role of academic libraries during Covid-19. Topics include challenge to the libraries being the current global trends in online education and significant roles libraries play; and understanding the permanent changes in the outlook and behaviour of library professionals bringing about by the covid outbreak.

The study was undertaken to investigate the utilisation of electronic information resources of the UNECA library in Addis Ababa Ethiopia and the challenges faced by the different users. A quantitative research method with a sample survey research design was applied. A population of 600 users, of which 500 were internal users (UNECA and United Nations agencies staff members) and 100 were external users (researchers, students, or non-staff members). 20% from each category was taken as a sample. An online questionnaire was distributed through email to collect data. The total response rate was 74%. The results showed that 92% of the respondents were aware of the availability of the electronic resources of the Library. 94% found the electronic resources useful. 84% confirmed that the resources were easy to use. High numbers of the respondents positively agreed that the quality of their outputs and performances have improved as a result of these resources. The challenges associated with the resources include information overload, access restriction with IP address, lack of training and remembering login credentials. 68% reported that the library services met their expectations. The study recommends the development of strategies for enhancing accessibility and discoverability of the resources, providing information literacy trainings for all users, and finding alternative measures for IP restriction access. This literature review identifies the current level of publications that deal with the relationship of the libraries and their role in the research process, and an examination of science researcher's information seeking needs, role of university libraries in supporting research, changing electronic environment and changing librarian's role, and challenges faced by the libraries with these changes. It aims to determine whether notable changes in the research support services for the doctoral students and scientists have emerged in recent years. The study shows that the support services of doctoral students and scientists provided by libraries follow a steady trend, with many subtle changes, particularly on the technological basis. The selected literature review spreads from 2000 to 2019. The coverage is balanced in that here on one hand the support service of the researchers, the researchers' information seeking need, the environment for the research is discussed, and on the other hand, the challenges for the libraries in print and electronic environment is discussed. Purpose: The purpose of the study is to derive the current status of web contents of library websites of Agricultural Universities in India and to examine the web-based library services provided via their websites and to determine the rank of the library websites on the basis of content analysis. Design/ Methodology/ Approach: For data collection in this study, survey and observation methods were applied. Data are collected from the library websites of Agricultural Universities of India with the help of a checklist prepared on the basis of previous studies done. This study was conducted to develop library services at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya by developing a system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method and the Mobile Library. This is done to complement the website services which can be accessed through catalog.uinsby.ac.id. Many users, especially students, experience restlessness in returning the book because there is no reminder feature for the deadline to return the book. As well as resulting in the number of fines that increase in number for each day. The purpose of this research is to make users more free to use the library services of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya which are packaged in a mobile library application using the Ionic framework. This study uses the RAD method to develop applications. One of the advantages and disadvantages of the RAD method is that RAD has a flexible nature in its development so it doesn't wait for one process to be done. The results of this study are the creation of a mobile library application that has an online extension feature, a reminder of the date of return of borrowed books, and the total amount of late book fines. So that it does not interfere with the circulation of the book if there is a bridge in returning the book and equalization is maintained in each user In addition, it also increases interest in student learning and services and improves effective and efficient library management. The study examined the relationships among ICT training, skills acquisition, ICT use and job performance of librarians and library officers in Universities in North-West Nigeria. The study was anchored on four specific objectives and four null hypotheses which were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance respectively. Descriptive survey design was used with population of 1,327 library personnel (74 librarians and 95 library officers) in 18-fully operational universities in North-west Nigeria out of which 169 library personnel were adopted in the seven selected universities using multi-stage sampling technique. The instrument for data collection was two set of structured and four point rating scale questionnaire for subordinates and university librarians' and was subjected to validation by library educators and statistics lecturers in a university. Test-retest method was used to pretest (administer) two set of the 40 copies of questionnaire at two week intervals outside the study areas (Federal University of Technology, Minna Nigeria) and the retrieved copies was subjected to Cornbrash's Alpha method to establish a reliability coefficient index of 0.74. Modified copies of questionnaire were administered on respondents and data collected was analyzed by inferential statistics of Pearson moment correlation coefficient and multiple-regression. Out of 167 copies of questionnaire administered, 145 (86%) copies were filled, returned and found usable and thus used for data analysis. Findings showed significant relationship between training and job performance, skills acquisition and job performance and ICT use and job performance respectively. The study further discovered significant relative contribution of ICT training, skills acquisition and ICT use to job performance of librarians and library officers in universities in North-West Nigeria. The study concluded that the contribution or otherwise of individual independent variable will lead to high or low level of job performance among library personnel in the universities in the geo-political zone. The study recommended amongst that the management of universities in North West Nigeria should make provision for adequate funds for procurement of ICT facilities; training and re-training of library staff in the area of ICT skills and usage.
