The literacy skill of Indonesian children has been ranked below average in the world. In fact, literacy skills are needed by every individual. Therefore, immediate action is needed starting from the closest environment, namely by the family to foster a literate soul in children. In addition, the mother plays a vital role in her child's life, as she is the one most closest. Therefore, in order to determine a suitable and interesting literacy model for mothers and children, it is necessary to know how to carry out mother and children literacy activities at home. This research aims to examine the implementation of mother and children literacy activities carried out by mothers having elementary and junior high school education backgrounds in Lamajang Village, Bandung Regency. This study uses a descriptive method by collecting data using a questionnaire administered to 20 respondents. The findings show that the most used media in literacy activities at home is story books that have moral and religious messages. However, there has not been any specific method aligning to the children's development used by the mother. It was found that they chose activities that combined children's speaking and listening skills. In addition, children's interest occurred when the stories delivered by the mother involved the children in the creation of a meaningful work. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to determine the validity of the Mathematics Learning Model Based on Realistic Mathematics Education and Literacy that has been developed. This type of research is the Plomp model design research which consists of three stages, namely preliminary research, the development or prototype stage, and the assessment stage. The model developed produces products that are documented in book form, namely model books, hypothetical learning trajectories, teacher books, and student books. The validity of the developed model is investigated at the prototype stage. The data in this study are the results of the experts' assessment of the four products. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data collection instruments in this study were model book validation sheets, hypothetical learning trajectory sheets, teacher book validation sheets, and student book validation sheets. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. Currently, student interest in teaching and learning in schools is declining, coupled with high youth unemployment, the same is also happening in universities. The existing learning model is only teacher-oriented, tends to be passive in order to reduce the nature of learning, students must continually build new ideas based on their learning experiences in order to be able to think creatively and solve problems in the material presented by the teacher. The model of electronic learning (e-learning) in higher education institutions that takes advantage of the advantages of information and communication technologies (ICT), offers a concept of learning where there is a transformation of learning from conventional form to digital form, both in content and in system. has shortcomings, namely not having interaction in the learning process; Project-based learning (PjBL) is one of the innovative learning implemented, but it has not had a sufficient impact on increasing the activity, creativity and productivity of students, especially in the design of a project. This study aims to determine the needs desired by lecturers and students in implementing learning in the multimedia and animation technology course. Results of research that based on the needs analysis performed, students expect the presence of a new learning model that can maximize learning. Based on the needs analysis carried out, the teacher expects a new learning model capable of maximizing learning. The study from home policy was implemented to reduce crowds as an effort to suppress the spread of Covid-19. All levels of education were asked to learn from home, guided and facilitated by educators and educational institutions. Ideally, the learning process should run smoothly even though learning activities are carried out online. However, the shift in learning modes from face-to-face to online has created many learning problems. This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of the implemention of online learning models in Indonesia. This was a descriptive study and a quantitative approach was used. Data were collected online using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed interactively through three components of analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. Based on the results, it was found that the implementation of online learning was effective. 100% of the lecturers implemented online learning using LMS, of which 86.67% were skilled at using the LMS platform in carrying out online learning. The lecturers used various strategies to organize learning, including integrating cognitive materials in core activities to improve student preparation, involvement and independence in online learning activities. Education is intended to develop students' potential ability to respond the emergent local, national, and global phenomenon. However, today's disruption era has forced educational institutions to better prepare the students in facing the global dynamics. Thus, Educational Technology Department in Faculty of Ilmu Pendidikan UNY (State University of Yogyakarta) attempts to facilitate the students with various abilities to accommodate the needs above. Therefore, this research is aimed to develop Blended Learning learning model which is implemented in Teori Belajar dan Pembelajaran (Learning and Instruction Theory) course. This research adopts procedure of Borg and Gall (1983), learning system design model of C. M. Reigeluth, and combined with E. L. Criswell & Luther model, by; a) conducting preliminary research, b) devising plans, c) developing prototype model, d) testing materials and model experts followed by revisions, e) running user tests, and f) carrying out field experiment. Research produces Blended Learning learning model in Teori Belajar dan Pembelajaran course for undergraduates of Educational Technology Department in Faculty of Ilmu Pendidikan UNY employing besmart version 2 e-learning owned by UNY. To conclude, Blended Learning has proven feasible to be executed successfully, both from materials and learning media point of view as well as its convenience when used by students. Research on the theme of the development of a Bahasa Indonesia fast-track-based learning model has never been done by other researchers. This study focuses on the involvement of lecturers and students by prioritizing the improvement of the quality and quantity of learning through various learning tracks that can accelerate the students' understanding and learning outcomes. This research is an exploratory study that aims to: (1) describe the condition of Bahasa Indonesia learning in colleges; and (2) describe the need for the best Bahasa Indonesia learning model for lecturers and students. The research subjects in this study were the lecturers and students of the colleges in Pontianak city. The methods used to collect the data were documentation, observation, a questionnaire, and interviews. The collected data were then analyzed using a descriptive method. The results of this study are as follows: (1) the learning quality of Bahasa Indonesia in Pontianak city is not yet maximal due to the use of conventional methods and the lack of a feasible learning model; (2) there is a need for the fittest Bahasa Indonesia learning model for both lecturers and students in order to enhance contribution, participation, and improvement in the application of a track-based learning model. This research was motivated by the moral decadence of the educated and low ability to write, and the impact of the use of monotonous learning model. Curriculum 2013 aims to prepare Indonesian people to have the ability to live as individuals and citizens who are faithful, productive, creative, innovative, and effective. These goals relevant to the prophetic values, which include three pillars, namely humanization, liberation, and transcendence. As for the learning steps, students perform reading activities that come from the Qur'an, hadith, books, or other sources, then take the keywords. After that, they create the framework through mind mapping, the developed it into a whole writing exposition. This research applied a research and development design. The instruments used were tests and contests through observations, questionnaires, and interviews. The prophetic values-based mind mapping learning model in writing expositions is considered necessary by the author so that students can use their minds to motivate creativity because they can generate brilliant ideas, find inspirational solutions to solve problems or find new ways to motivate themselves and other people in the face of their life.
