- Abstract
Background: Kebumen Regency has the potential for productive coconut plants as raw materials for making ant sugar. The development of ant sugar is more optimally carried out with a partnership system. In Kebumen Regency, there are two companies engaged in ant sugar commodities, namely CV. Agroberindependence and CV. Rukun Mulyo. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the empowerment of ant sugar artisans in Kebumen Regency and to formulate a strategy for empowering ant sugar artisans in Kebumen Regency. Method: This research is a descriptive research with quantitative and qualitative approach methods. Data analysis uses CIPP evaluation with value interpretation using the Likert Scale Percentage Formula. Formulation of an empowerment strategy for ant sugar artisans using QSPM SWOT analysis. Results: The results of the study showed that the empowerment program of ant sugar artisans with the highest value was the process variable, with a score of 73.61%. The lowest value in the input variable was 68.22%. Overall, the results of the CIPP evaluation show that the empowerment program for ant sugar artisans in Kebumen Regency has been running effectively, with a score of 72.79%. QSPM's SWOT analysis obtained the results of the main priority strategy that the company can apply is product variant innovation with the addition of other ingredients such as spices. Conclusion: Kebumen Regency has the potential of productive coconut plants as raw material for making palm sugar. The development of palm sugar is more optimal carried out with a partnership system. There are two companies that operate in the palm sugar commodity in Kebumen Regency, namely CV. Agroberdikari and CV. Rukun Mulyo. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of empowering palm sugar farmers in Kebumen Regency and to formulate a strategy for empowering palm sugar farmers in Kebumen Regency.
