KUD Tunas Muda is one of the cooperatives active in using information technology to serve the needs of its members, especially related to oil palm activities. However, not all palm oil activities have been carried out through digitization. This paper aims to provide an overview of the readiness of the KUD located in Riau Province in digitizing smallholder oil palm plantations, which include activities in preparing inputs, cultivation, marketing, and receiving payments. This study also aims to analyze strategic priorities that cooperatives can carry out in digitizing smallholder palm oil. This study uses two methods in its analysis, namely descriptive analysis, and analytical hierarchy process. Based on the study, cooperative management is quite prominent in initiating and building digital systems in services for their members. This is because the KUD already has experience in digitalization, although the function is still limited. According to the analysis, the prioritized strategy is to increase the understanding of oil palm farmers, especially among members, in using digital technology and information to support the digitalization of oil palm plantations. Until now there has not been a centralized Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in IPB, even though there are wastewater treatments in several locations that are scattered in the campus area. Various activities on the Dramaga IPB campus have the potential to produce wastewater, such as laboratory activities, especially chemical and biological laboratories, canteens, offices, and dormitories. The existence of scattered laboratories requires a centralized and integrated WWTP. For this reason, mapping of wastewater distribution is needed to arrange the location of the wastewater treatment plant, within the campus. Interviews with the perpetrators of activities, measurement of wastewater quality, and sampling, were carried out at the work units producing wastewater on the campus of IPB. The distribution of wastewater was grouped according to the location of the work units producing waste and identified the types of waste produced (B3-dangerous and toxic and non-B3), then presented in a map. The map was used as a reference in determining the location of wastewater treatment plants. The results showed that each work unit contributes organic waste that was not too different, the source of inorganic and B3 wastewater distribution followed the location of the laboratory which was also quite scattered in the Dramaga IPB campus area. Based on the distribution of available waste, the presence of wastewater in the campus environment of IPB was divided into two regional groups. Therefore, the location of the wastewater treatment plant was directed at two locations, namely on the Northeast side (IPAL I) and the West side (IPAL II) of IPB campus. The area of mangrove Segara Anakan has a high economic value so that there is a high interest to various land uses in this area. This condition leads to the change in ecological function of the mangrove which has impacts on the decreased production of mangrove crabs. This study was desighed to analyze the areas of catching crabs related to mangrove ecosystem. This study was conducted for six months in the 3 mudcrab catching areas (Western Area, Central Area, and Eastern Area). The analysis used in this study was a one way ANOVA statistic for the crabs catching in these 3 catching areas, and a simple linear regression to analyxe the correlation betwen annual crab production and mangrove area. PLTA Koto Panjang Reservoir is one of the reservoirs in Riau Province which has a primary function as a Hydropower source and also used for fisheries and tourism activities. Increased activity around the existing reservoir affecting water quality conditions that would interfere with function.This research was conducted in April-May 2015 with three observations on 5 stations with the aimed this research to analyzing, determining the status of water quality, and fertility status of waters in PLTA Koto Panjang Reservoir. Determination of reservoir water quality status based on parameters of physical, chemical, and biological methods STORET with water quality standard Class II and III for comparison. Fertility status was determined by Trophic Level Index (TLI) based on the brightness, chlorophyll-a, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus waters. The results showed that the status of Koto Panjang Reservoir water quality can be categorized as being contaminated with the quality standard Class III and heavily polluted the quality standard Class II. The parameters have exceeded the water quality standard Class II and III are ammonia, nitrite, and BOD5. The fertility status of the dam water is the eutrophic category with TLI values ranges from 4.6-5.2.

The aims of this research were to analyze the land suitability and carrying capacity for groupers culture. The utilized methods were land suitability analysis and carrying capacity analysis. The results of land suitability analysis showed that the area which is fit very suitable criteria is 38.16 ha (17.13%), fit enough suitable is 118.27 ha (53.11%), and appropriate-conditional suitable is 66.26 ha (29.75%). The results of carrying capacity analysis resulted in an area of 156.43 ha which is very suitable for groupers culture development in KJT systems. This area could accommodate as much as 313 ponds which are equivalent to 626 units or 6.257 KJT boxes.

Lake Toba is the largest lake in Indonesia, located in the P rovince of North Sumatra. Lake Toba is used to aquaculture, agricultural, tourism, and residential areas. These activities will produce organic and anorganic matter that can affect water quality and can cause eutrophication. Some indicators of eutrophication are an increase in phytoplankton biomass and changes in phytoplankton community structure. The aim of this study was to describe the phytoplankton community structure in Lake Toba. This study was conducted on 20 - 24 October 2014 at 23 stations around the Samosir Island, Lake Toba. The results showed that the phytoplankton abundance ranged 216-68.319.716 cells/m 3 . The phytoplankton composition consists of 35 genera from four classes: Cyanophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Bacillariophyceae, and Dinophyceae. Chyanophyceae is a dominant phytoplankton groups based on the composition of abundance (>40%). Structure of phytoplankton communities in Lake Toba dominated by Anabaena .

Biofloc technology is one of the alternative to overcome the problem of water quality of cultivation environment which was adapted from conventional waste management techniques. The purpose of this study was to assess the young catfish culture by applying bioflocs of some consortium products, such as Bacillus megaterium (BM), Supernit (SP), Depok 165 (DP165), Kayajaga (KJ) compared to non biofloc application for improving the water quality. This study was aimed to determine the effectivity of commercial bacterial inocculants to reduce pollution in cultured water. Bacterial inocculant tested in this study was SN®, SB®, and the combination of both inocculants for water quality improvements in white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) super intensive culture media. This study was conducting in two steps, namely (i) preliminary study and (ii) primary study. The preliminary study was aimed to determine the time required to add bacteria based on the total number of bacterial colonies. The result showed that total colonies number of media treated with addition of SN® and SB® were reached maximum within 2 days. The result of primary study showed that the combination of SN® and SB® showed best effect in maintaining water quality of the culture media. This combination are proven reduces ammonia by 96%, nitrite-N by 83%, and COD by 42%.

Buaya River is one of the river in Bunyu Island which is found near with domestic and agricultural activities. Moreover, Buaya River is also used for fisheries activity by people nearby (fish products collecting and processing) and also used by the fisherman as the back of the boat. These activities will influence and change water quality. This research aimed to analysed water quality condition at Buaya River. Water quality assessment was conducted at four observation station. Water quality was analysed using Storet index and was compared with threshold for marine organisms (Kepmen No. 51/MENLH/2004). The result showed that Buaya River had been polluted at medium level at tide and medium to heavy level at low tide. TSS, oil and grease were not suitable with marine organisms threshold at all stations in low high and low tide.

Sap of plants is one of the non-timber forest products are used by the community Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in the National Park Bukit Duabelas. SAD is Jambi tribal culture that has potential in utilized and protected forest biodiversity Bukit Duabelas National Park. This research aims at produced an inventory of plant sap, assess the utilization and preservation process and review process by SAD inheritance knowledge about produced plants to the next generation in National Park Bukit Duabelas Sarolangun, Jambi. Data collected by snowball sampling technique through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Analysis of descriptive data. Based on the results of this study found 21 species of plants produced sap utilized by the SAD as a source of revenue, material treatment, fuel, hunting, adhesives, traditional rituals materials, dyes and other materials exudate freezer. SAD sources of knowledge on the use of plant sap derived from the shaman, the parents and their own experiences orally handed down to posterity.

Sempor Reservoir is one of the reservoir in Central Java. This reservoir has primary function as irrigation and hydropower source. Beside, it also has some benefit for fisheries and tourism activities. Reservoir utilization which has not been optimum yet need some adjustments with water quality and aquatic trophic state in Sempor Reservoir. This study was aimed to determine water quality and aquatic trophic state of Sempor Reservoir. This study was conducted from January to March 2014 with monthly water sampling. Survey method to collect data with stratified random sampling was used for four represented station. Aquatic trophic state determination was based in Carlson Trophic State Index (TSI) measurement. This method used some represented parameters of physics, chemistry and biology such as water transparency, total phosphorus, and chlorophyll-a. The results showed that water quality of Sempor Reservoir was still good for fishery activities. Aquatic trophic state of Sempor Reservoir based on Carlson TSI was classified to low-medium in euthropic category ranging from 50.71-64.91. Inlet was the only area which had medium category of eutrophic due to highly nutrient content derived from anthropogenic activities nearby.

Dry fractionation will produce a fraction of olein and stearin with different composition of high melting and low melting as well the distribution of triacylglycerol (TAG) in the form of trisaturated (St3), disaturated (St2U) and monosaturated (StU2). This research aimed to study the effect of critical cooling rate and crystallization temperature on the composition and profile of TAG changes as well the melting properties of the fractionated coconut oil products. Coconut oilwas heated at 70°C then cooledat differentcooling rate to reach various crystalization temperatures. The oil was then stirred at 15rpm and allowed to crystallize at different period of time, and finally fractionated by vacuum filtration using Whatman #40 paper. Fractionation temperatures were the same as crystalization temperatures. The results showed that the critical cooling rate was proportional to the solid-like to liquid-like ratio, the content of St3 and SFC profile of olein fraction but inversely proportional to the content of St2U and StU2 TAG. Interval crystallization temperature between 21.30 and 21.73 °C produced the S/L ratio, the content of St3 TAG and SFC profiles of olein fractions lower and the content of St2U and StU2 TAG higher than the temperature interval below or above it. Coconut oil fractionation more effective in higher crystallization temperature or lower critical cooling rate. In these cooling treatments, St3 TAG which has high melting pointwould be concentrated at stearin fraction, while St2U and StU2 TAG and MCTwould be at olein fraction. Therefore, it will increase melting properties of stearin fraction and decrease olein fraction.

Modification of corn starch will give different effects depending on the corn variety. Gel forming capacity increased with increase in concentration of the samples and least gel concentration was maximal in higher amylose starch. Initial pasting temperature of native starch reduced from following oxidation and acetylation. Among the samples, the highest pasting temperature was recorded in native and values for peak viscosity during heating. The modified starch has better stability than native starch and lower tendency for syneresis and improve the freeze thaw stability
