This article is a systematic review of the joint-related adverse effects (JRAEs) associated with the use of dupilumab, a medication used to treat atopic dermatitis. The review found that JRAEs, including joint stiffness, arthritis, and inflammatory arthropathies, have been increasingly reported in patients taking dupilumab. The incidence of JRAEs ranged from 0.2% to 10%, and treatment strategies included continuing or discontinuing dupilumab, starting adjuvant treatments, and switching to other systemic therapies. However, the precise incidence and causal relationship between JRAEs and dupilumab remain unclear, and further research is needed to better understand and categorize these adverse events.
