Abstract

Oral health is an integral part of the Healthy People initiative, a 40-year national health promotion and disease prevention effort that sets and monitors objectives with data-driven targets for each decade. The framework for the next decade, Healthy People 2030, includes new components and a focus on health literacy for the first time.
