Abstract

The highly efficient and enantioselective Ru-catalyzed AROM/CM reactions leading to synthesis of functionalized tetrahydropyrans have been described. Optically enriched pyrans can be functionalized with excellent regioselectivity in a variety of ways.

Abstract

Research has been conducted on the olefin metathesis catalysts. The synthesis, structure and reactivity of the ruthenium-based catalyst have been investigated and the results indicate that it bears a stereogenic ruthenium center and is recyclable and air-stable.
