Abstract

A high proton conductivities observed for Co[[Cr[(CN).sub.6]].sub.2/3]*z[H.sub.2]O and V[[Cr[(CN).sub.6]].sub.2/3]*z[H.sub.2]O is reported. An interference effect between magnetic ordering and ionic conduction below the magnetic phase transition temperature is also reported.

Abstract

The magnetic properties and nanosturctures of Co[Pt.sub.3] wire arrays that are prepared by electrodeposition using a porous alumina template are described. The studies have shown the thermally induced phase transition of Co[Pt.sub.3] nanowires to ordered [L1.sub.2] Co[Pt.sub.3] through a 'cluster-in-cluster' intermediate state via interdiffusion processes.
