Scientific knowledge has become a fundamental and integral part of individuals' daily lives. Science news in conventional and digital media is an important source of information for individuals. In this sense, the media has a central role as a guide in conveying scientific developments. Science journalists make complex topics and scientific research understandable for audiences at different levels. In this sense, developments in the field of science are shared through the media to the general public. The public has a keen interest in new treatments and technological developments, especially in medical issues. The aim of this study is to provide an overview of the leading trends in science journalism based on specific bibliometric indicators. For this purpose, articles related to science journalism scanned in the Web of Science database are analyzed. The study uses the VOSviewer program for bibliometric analysis. As a result, it is determined that 190 articles related to science journalism in the field of communication are scanned in the Web of Science database. It is seen that 53 of these articles were published by researchers in the United States of America. It is noteworthy that there is no study from Turkey among these articles. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Individuals, considered a rational entity in terms of economics, aim to maximize their level of well-being with scarce resources. On the other hand, it is known that individuals are not always a rational being. Behavioral economics suggests that individuals will engage in irrational behavior in their economic decisions. Accordingly, he makes the concept of homo economicus a topic of discussion by engaging in irrational behavior at the decision stages of individuals against traditional economic assumptions. In this study, 605 works obtained by scanning the word "behavioral economics", which are included in the SCI, SSCI and AHCI citation indexes through the Web of Science database between 19752020, are examined bibliometrically. After that, social network analysis is used to visualize corporate, author and country collaborations. When evaluating the publications covered in the study, the countries, institutions and the most cited areas that contribute to the field are visualized using the Vosviewer program. According to the results obtained in the study, studies on "behavioral economics" have experienced an increase since 2008. It is determined that the most commonly used keyword is the word "behavioral economics", which gives the field its name. As behavioral economics is a field between various disciplines, joint working networks for the field are identified and time-oriented trend analysis is considered. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
