The crystal structure of a double complex salt of the composition [Au(en)][Cu(CO)]·8HO (en = ethylenediamine) at 150 K is determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal data for CHAuCuNO are: a = 9.1761(3) Å, b = 16.9749(6) Å, c = 13.4475(5) Å, β = 104.333(1)°, V = 2029.43(12) Å, P2/ c space group, Z = 2, d = 2.450 g/cm. It is demonstrated that the thermal decomposition of the double complex salt in a helium or hydrogen atmosphere affords the solid solution AuCu. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

[RhPy4Cl2]Cl·4H2O ( I), [RhPy4Cl2]ReO4 ( II), [RhPy4Cl2]ClO4 ( III), and [RhPy4Cl2]ReO4·2H2O complex salts were synthesized. The crystal structure of compounds II ( P4/ ncc, a = 25.5655(3) Å, c = 14.3521(4) Å), III ( P21/ n, a = 13.5308(3) Å, b = 15.1044(5) Å, c = 23.3457(8) Å, β = 93.327°), and dyhydrate of II ( Pbcm, a = 10.6199(9) Å, b = 10.4964(9) Å, c = 22.9834(16)Å) was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. A method for the synthesis of the Mo(acac) complex is proposed and its crystal structure is determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Space group P2/ c, a = 19.7538(5) Å, b = 7.4821(2) Å, c = 34.6190(8) Å, β = 96.8055(12)°, V = 5080.6(2) Å, Z = 12. The compound is studied by the thermogravimetric analysis, and MoO is shown to be the result of its decomposition. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
