A thermal model has been proposed for a high power Li/SOC1 2 cell with parallel plates. Internal temperature profiles in two types of cells have been obtained by calculations based on the model and the experiment. Results show that model predictions are very consistent with experimental data provided the calculations are carried out under certain conditions.
