Abstract

To confirm pathogenicity, 20 l conidial suspension droplets (10 SP 6 sp conidia/ml) were deposited on the inflorescences wounded with a sterile needle. Typical anthracnose symptoms were observed in inoculated inflorescences in all inoculated inflorescence after 5 days (Supplementary Fig. Graph: a and b - Colony produced on PDA after 7 days, c - Conidia, d - Conidia mass on PDA after 10 days, e - Pathogenicity test applied on inflorescence of Heliconia spp. using Colletotrichum siamense isolate.
