Abstract

A new one-pot method is described for preparing aminoenone from chloroalkyl enone and sodium azide. The synthesis of polycyclic alkaloid hexahydropoerysopine is achieved by an efficient synthetic route.

Abstract

An efficient method is developed for aza-quaternary pyrrolo[1,2-a]azepine and aza-quaternary indolizine, as the key intermediates for syntheses of stemonamine and cephalotaxine, based on the key intramolecular Schmidt reaction of symmetric azido-diones.
