The author discusses aspects of palliative care specialists in oncology. There are three types of palliative care namely primary, secondary, and tertiary palliative care. It advices as to how to do palliative care in office and states that one should always do a symptom and spiritual assessment. It also gives different advices for patients who have less than a year to live and those who still have three to six months to live. It also gives advantages of decision aids and provides conclusions.
