Due to its vast range of areas and scopes of port logistics, professional training for port logistics experts has faced a limitation to raise manpower that the nation and companies ask for. This study looks at the current and expected demand and supply of workforce to identify necessary subjects and competitive factors in secondary education for training port logistics experts. Based on previous studies, this study proposes an assessment model by eliciting the priority of subjects in secondary education. and then, provides reasons for decision making.

This study aimed to analyze the effect of New University for Regional Innovation in terms of the users. The evaluation indicators based on the reports of NURI port logistics education project from 2005 to 2009 are overall satisfaction, detailed satisfaction, comparative advantage for from the other universities, continuous employment intention, necessity of re-education, and priority of educational needs and so on. And the percentage of employment was chosen from 2006 to 2009 for the more objective analysis. Analysis shows that the effect of the program is founded because the satisfaction increased gradually and the comparative advantage for from the other universities was higher and the necessity of re-education declined less and less. Especially the program filled the foreign language demands. But it needs to reinforce the links between schools and industries. And also the percentage of employment for the participated departments has continuously increased compared with that for non-participated departments, it shows that the effects of NURI project.

In this paper, we developed an EM wave absorber having the absorption ability of more than 15 dB for port logistics RFID system by using AMP. Firstly, we fabricated EM wave absorber by using AMP and CPE(Chlorinated Polyethylene) with different composition ratios 80:20 wt.% and 85:15 wt.%. Secondly, we designed the optimum EM wave absorber using the calculated material constants obtained from measured input impedance of the samples. This study is aimed to contribute in establishing new port policy by research and analysis in design of global port logistics network in the East Asia region. In order to build such port logistics network, 21 ports located in East Asia among the world`s 50th largest ports were selected in this study. Furthermore, the amount of container cargo and the ports of call were analyzed to categorize the subject ports in East Asia. Finally, this study tries to find economic network between the base port in East Asia, EU or North America and feeder ports in terms of logistics cost. As a result, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Busan ports were found as the representative ports in the East Asia that may connect North America and Europe with the minimum logistics expenses. Therefore, to maintain the stable cargo volume in ports, Korea should promote not only the overseas terminal operation which links to the Singapore, Hong Kong, and Shanghai ports, but also establish the global port logistic network connecting the Busan port.

World ports and shipping markets are changing dynamically. The 9,000TEUs classed container vessels are avaiable to enter service now, so liner services are ready to start. With regard to the changing environment, the world ports ease regulations as well as invest funds to be leading ports. As a result, the importance of port logistics industry is getting bigger than before. It has an effect on improvement of service quality when a shipping company selects a port. The importance of tally, one cf the necessary elements in the port logistics industry is overlooked and there is no researches for tally yet. This paper suggests plans for the development of domestic tally after the investigations and analysis of survey are conducted.

중국 경제의 급성장으로 전세계 물동량이 동북아시아로 집중되어 부산항을 포함한 동북아시아 주요 항만간 경쟁이 점차 심각해지고 있다. 이에 동북아시아 항만들은 생산성과 더불어 항만의 서비스를 극대화하고자 하는 노력을 기울이고 있다. 항만이 제공하여야 할 서비스 중 가장 중요하게 부각되고 있는 항만물류정보 시스템구축 및 효율적 운영에 총력을 기울이고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 부산항의 경우, 이미 항만물류 정보시스템은 구축이 되어 있으나 EDI문서의 중복성과 시스템 연계성 부족 등의 문제점으로 인해 아직 활성화 되지 못하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 부산항 항만물류산업에서 EDI의 활용도를 높이기 위한 전체적인 연구모형 도출과 항만물류업체를 업종별, 집단별로 구분하여 차별화 된 활성화 모형을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 【The rapid growth of economy in china leads to concentrate throughput volume of World to North East Asia. But it is not activated yet because of problems of documentation duplication and system connectivity and so on. The purpose of this research is to make a model which can activate the system of port-logistic information. In addition, We suggest a definite and feasible model by group and types of port-logistic industry.】

The aim of this research is to analyze actual condition of port logistics industries in Busan For this, this research identified logistics, based on the concept and definition of port and logistics, and then, divided them into six categories, transportation, cargo handling, storage, service, packing, and information The results of the paper are, first, it was found that there are much differences among industries, in revenue scale, and number of employee and firm Secondly, it indicated that actual occupation rate of these industries in regional economy was not high, except for transportation related industries. Finally, from these findings, this research suggested that it was necessary to build different policies according to competitiveness level of firms, and strategies to promote many firms with low occupation rate.

Currently, the adoption of FTZ( Free Trade Zone) has been recognized as one of the most important strategies for becoming hub port in the world. For this reason, various policies for successful implementation and adoption of FTZ have been presented, and u special law related this FTZ was actually built in 1999. In the mean time, a port logistics industry is deeply related to the successful implementation of FTZ.
