Physical activity is a vital part of your lifestyle. Reports on the positive effects of physical activity are widely discussed in the literature. However, there are also drawbacks to physical activity. One of the contraindications is neoplastic disease. Such reports pretend to reduce the activity in cancer patients. The aim of the work is to present a method of modifying physical activity in women after breast cancer treatment in order to consolidate the rehabilitation therapy and the prevention of treatment-related disorders. The paper proposes the procedure and conditions for the implementation of physical activity.

Objectives. Surgical procedures are one of the invasive treatment methods in modern medicine. Procedural medicine develops from year to year. The method of invasive treatment depends primarily on the disease entity. Mostly, it will be minimally invasive surgery. Regardless of the invasive nature of the procedure, the patient requires temporary immobilization, which is associated with postoperative complications. Material and methods. A review of the available literature and own observations were used for the study. Results. The available literature primarily focuses on the number of postoperative complications and the relationship between their occurrence and preoperative prophylaxis. There are numerous references in the literature concerning the emergence of respiratory and circulatory failure after surgery, especially in obese patients and patients with comorbidities. Conclusions. The implementation of pre-rehabilitation is necessary as a prevention of postoperative complications.

In each of the methods, the movement is supported by a therapist, who can determine the direction of movement through resistance, or support it.The study presents examples of kinesiotaping applications that can be used in therapy at various stages. The method of use depends on the degree of damage to the structure and should be modified for therapy.A review of available literature and own experience were used for the work.

The article aims to present treatment proposals that use the concept of PNF in improved postmastectomy patients. This method, known since the 90's, is often reserved for patients with neurological damage, but can also be successfully used in other patient groups using its main principles and philosophy of therapeutic goals. The article presents examples of activities that can be used in therapy in various phases. The paper presents the method of using the method associated with the upper limb dysfunction after mastectomy, which can be freely modified for the purposes of superior therapy. There is a shortage of educated medical personnel in hospitals, and the lack of employment requirements in the surgery department of physiotherapists results in neglecting this part of health care.Physiotherapy in surgical patients should be implemented already before the surgery. The available scientific reports show that greater mobility before the surgery has a positive effect on the surgical procedure by reducing postoperative complications. The literature review also shows that people with normal body weight have fewer complications after surgery and their recovery time is shorter, which has a positive effect on the patient's mental sphere.Post-operative depression is less common in people who returned to everyday activities after surgery on day 2.After analyzing the existing literature, it can be concluded that the level of fitness before the surgery has a significant impact on the level of reduction in the mobility of the patient after the surgery. In order to increase the level of the patient's fitness, it should be improved before the surgery. In addition, the patient should be instructed before the procedure about the necessity and manner of exercise, so that after the surgery, from the first day, you can experience physical therapy.

Colorectal cancer is a common cause of death. The incidence of cancer increases every year, it is caused by better secondary prevention - screening and early stage cancer detection. The early stages of neoplasms enable the implementation of effective treatment. The method of treating colon cancer is radical treatment - surgery. The quality of life in patients with chronic diseases such as cancer is variable in each phase of the disease. The presented work aims to show the quality of life of patients on the day of admission to the hospital for the surgical treatment of colorectal cancer. The study used standardized QLQ-C30 forms with the extension of the CR29 module. Comprehensive assessment of the quality of life enables the presentation of the patient's condition before the procedure and is the starting point for the assessment of the patient after the procedure. The studies show that patients have the lowest assessment of the overall quality of life and emotional functioning. They judge physical and mental functioning well. Symptoms related to the disease, such as abdominal pain, significantly reduce the quality of life. The presented research shows that each time before the procedure, the patient should have the quality of life assessed in order to possibly further compare the changes in the subjective assessment of the quality of life. The research shows that patients diagnosed with cancer have a low quality of life assessment and preventive measures should be implemented in the form of consultations.

I estimate that obese people have a greater sociological problems, and the level of self-acceptance in these individuals is much lower. Ways to deal with the problem of obesity are many, but one of the most effective physical activity is combined with diet. Epidemiological studies confirm the beneficial effect of physical activity to reduce the risk of obesity and its impact on the comprehensive treatment. Increasing energy expenditure affects not only the reduction of body fat. Regular physical activity increases muscle tissue and bone, and a decrease in resting and exercise blood pressure, pulse. Through physical activity, we are able to influence the lipid profile and glucose tolerance. Adaptation of physical activity should be an individual, it is recommended to increase daily physical activity for 30 minutes. The unit training should increase energy expenditure by 300 - 400kcal. Resting heart rate were investigated on solids between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm behind an assumed heart rate on the chest. Morning results were compared with the evening of the previous day. Results.Morning and evening heart rate are indicative of fatigue,The heart rate changes with altitude.The regeneration level can be read from the intersection of the pulse line. Strength training is a more stressful training. The level of regeneration after endurance training is greater compared to strength training. 24-hour training break has a beneficial effect on regeneration, prolonged physical efforts require longer regeneration time Conclusions. Objectives. Pain and limitation of motions in the glenohumeral joint are frequently the consequence of the shoulder impingement syndrome (SIS). Misdiagnosis or improper treatment of the illness may effect in a serious functional impairment of the upper limb. The treatment, dependent on the medical condition, involves: rest, NSAID therapy, physiotherapy as well as kinesitherapeutic procedures. The aim of the research was to conduct a detailed diagnosis of the shoulder impingement syndrome and the efficacy assessment of the matched rehabilitating procedures considering the symptoms. Material and methods. The research was conducted in 39 people aged 30 to 81 treated for SIS. 85% of the respondents were professionally active.In order to assess the efficacy of the therapy the following were carried out: the pain assessment test, functional tests (Neer’s, Ludington’s, Hawkins’, Apley’s, Job’s and the active painful arc test) as well as measurements of the active range of motion of the joint. The patients were subjected to two kinds of physiotherapy – ultrasound therapy (US) procedures and the short wave diathermy (SWD), both connected with procedures aiming at mobilization of the shoulder complex and off-load exercises.
