Abstract

The article reports the new synonyms of Solenostoma, a genus of the plant family Jungermanniaceae, which were discovered from China such as Solenostoma louae and Jungermannia parviperrianth. It mentions that S. louae is treated as a synonym of Solenostoma hasskarlianum and is recognized by distinctive leaf cell trigones and absence of perigynium. It says that Jungermannia parviperriantha is characterized by small plant size and numerous gemmae at the tip of flagelliforms shoots.
