This paper aims to identify and assess the risk factors that affect the primary elements, time, cost and quality, in the roadway construction project in Iraq. The paper uses the quantitative approach, in the form of questionnaire, in order to achieve the objectives of the study. Detecting such risk factors that lead to delay, increase of cost and bad quality may help taking early actions in order to address these factors that ensure the mitigation of their effects and the success of the project as much as possible. The researcher examined a number of risk factors affecting the roadway construction projects in Iraq, some of them have significant impact on time, cost and quality of such projects, including the financial corruption, security situation and lack of engineering control in such projects. The purpose of this paper isto design an innovative device to develop the achievement for the 100-meter runners under 20 years old and to identify the effect of the exercises using the innovative device between the pre and post-tests of the control and experimental group to develop the achievement. The research was done by the intentional method, as the research community included the top eight players in the Iraq Championship for Athletics, the third round of the season (2021), and their number (16) players, (4) players were selected for the exploratory sample and (8) players who managed to reach the finals of the 100 meters race in the Iraq Championship for the 2021 season, and they represent the research sample with a percentage of (50%) of the original community, As for the most important conclusion, training using the innovative starting device had a positive effect on the achievement of 100-meter runners under 20 years old for the experimental group. The occurrence of multicollinearity in several multiple regression models leads to major problems that can affect the entire multiple regression model outcomes, among the problems are a reduction in the precision of the estimated coefficients, which decreases the statistical power of the model. The effect of sensitivity on the estimated coefficients is due to a small swing in the model. This paper considers the two fundamental approaches for identifying multicollinearity. The first approach is the correlation coefficient (CC) and the second one is the variance inflation factor (VIF). The ridge regression method, principal components regression, intent root regression, and weighted regression are advanced regression models for investigating the existence of multicollinearity, these findings would tackle, reduce, and fixed the multicollinearity among the independent variables, and help to predict the best-fitted model. Background: This paper investigates the factors that are associated with the effect of the number of born children in Iraq. Methods: In this work, we aim to determine the contributing factors that affect the number of born children. Multiple and simple linear regression models together with two-sample t-tests were conducted to verify the potential risk factors that affect the born children which include but are not limited to smoking mother, mother age, a mother with the thyroid gland, mothers that use the medicine, preterm birth (PTB), low birth weight (LBW), high birth weight (HBW), and small for gestational age (SGA). The most important aspects of this study are investigating maternal and paternal factors affecting the number of born children in Iraq. Analyzing and identifying the risk factors that affect the number of born children and those factors that do not the number of born children are part of the contribution. Results: The multiple regression model predicted that the maternal factors like mother weight (x2), smoking medicine (x8) with (p = 0.05, p = 0.05, p = 0.05, p = 0.05, p = 0.05, p = 0.05) respectively were significantly associated with the effect of the number of born children, while the mother age (x1) and husband age (x4) with (p > 0.05, and p > 0.05) respectively were not significant. Regarding the two-sample t-tests, the first analysis suggested that the smoking mothers significantly affected the number of born children with (p = 0.05). The second analysis shows that the mediation effect of the thyroid gland was not significant with (p >0.05). The third analysis patterning the medicine of the mother did not significantly affect the number of birth children with (p >0.05). Conclusion: The results obtained from this work predicted that smoking mothers strongly contributed and play a vital role toward the factors affecting the number of born children, these findings would tackle and reduce the higher risk associated with factors that affect the number of born children in Iraq. Most of the existing literature focused on paternal risk factors affecting birth outcomes, while others were restricted to single maternal factors associated with child outcomes. Construction projects are unique in nature. One of its most notable qualities is the length of time that may result in a change of circumstances, resulting in many risks as a result of the long implementation period and the several stages, beginning with the project foundation and ending with final delivery. This raises the level of uncertainty and the probability of risks, which has a negative influence on the economics of construction contracts. To manage risks in such projects, the researcher visited a number of sites in numerous governorates across Iraq after collecting papers and literature on the subject of risk management in construction projects. The researcher prepared unique forms displaying the probability of the risk arising and the magnitude of its effect after extracting a large number of them. After that, the forms were distributed to a group of specialists. Following a statistical analysis of the findings, the researcher came up with a set of conclusions and recommendations for managing risks in Iraqi building projects. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
