Abstract

The evaluation of the demographic, biological, and behavioral factors that are responsible for the spread of recent HIV infections in Uganda is presented. The results indicate that several risk factors were responsible for the spread of HIV infections in Uganda.

Abstract

A study to access the level of exposures to war-related violence and prevalence of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depression symptoms in northern Uganda was conducted. Results show that there was a high prevalence for symptoms of PTSD and depression in a conflict zone.
