The E plastic waste is growing day by day in the IT Industries because it could be a important resource. The service of Electronic waste plastic could be a solution to ecological and biological issues. Because the use of Electronic waste plastic in concrete will reduce the waste and provides a decent strength for the structures and roads. it’ll reduces the lowland value for energy saving. A close experimental study had been administered to study the mechanical properties of typical concrete, by casting the specimen with various percentage of E-waste like 0%, 10%, 15%, 20% and different strength characteristics are conducted in lab.

Natural fibre composites find application in some areas of aerospace, automotive, marine, electrical and sports equipments. They replace traditional materials due to the advantage of bio-degradability and environmental durability. However, better understanding of the composite behavior is required to ascertain its durability in the field of applications. In this work, vetiver fibre composites are prepared and tested for tensile and flexural strength. Vetiver fibers of length 15-16cm were used as reinforcements and epoxy resin with hardener is used as the matrix. Three types of composites were prepared using three different arrangements of the Vetiver fibers. The orientation of the fibres include longitudinal, transverse and a third arrangement combining both the directions. The flexural and tensile tests of these three types of composites are carried out and the results are compared with each other and useful conclusions were drawn from them.

This paper analyzes the aspects of power quality issues such as harmonics distortion and their effects in charging the electric vehicle. The harmonics produced is measured by using fluke power quality meter. The on-board and off board chargers are also discussed with their circuit diagram. It includes the fluke meter for measuring the harmonic distortion that occurs in the charger of the electric vehicle. The harmonics produced in the charger is measured and analyzed using simulink model also. The harmonic disturbances generated are also noted. The recommendations and suggestion based on the result analysis are also discussed

Different types of PM motors are finding applications substituting squirrel cage induction motors for its smooth control, energy efficient operations and high power density. Even though these motors are energy efficient, they are affected by ripples in the torque and cogging torque. Torque ripples are nothing but the oscillations leading to various mechanical issues like vibrations, rotor stress and noise. Factors like non sinusoidal distribution of flux, saturation, wrong selection of slots etc are creating ripples in developed torque. These ill effects are deteriorating PM motors performance in starting and steady state. Now a days reducing cogging torque and ripples in torque gained significance in the motor design. So in this work, various techniques to reduce ripples in torque and to reduce cogging torque of various PM motors has been investigated and reported.

Image focus is an important parameter which depends on various other parameters of an imaging system. One among them is the distance of the object plane from the lens. This parameter is referred as the depth in computer vision literatures. Since depth affects the focus level of pixels in an image, focus measurement can be used to interpret the depth of points of an object. The paper presents the details of the novel indigenously developed automated measurement system which can perform high-precision movements based on feedback control. The measurement system is inspired by classical systems used in techniques such as shape from focus. This system fundamentally being a mechatronics system integrates a high-precision multi-stage translation mechanism which is actuated with a servo motor with sensors such as camera, linear encoder, optical limit switches. The hardware interface is developed for automated measurement through a USB data acquisition system. The paper presents the methodology of surface reconstruction and detailed description of the various challenges encountered in the integration. The surface reconstruction is performed for various millimetres and sub millimetres level engineered specimens. The paper presents the future direction of research and also various potential application possibilities for such measurement setup.

Grasp Localization is an important problem in robotic manipulators which fundamentally aims at estimating a pose for the end effector which ensures that the object intended to be grasped does not slip off. This estimation is achieved through exteroceptive sensors used in robots such as vision systems which through features and learning-based approaches. One of the fundamental means to validate such an approach is by simulating the grasp routine for any given geometry and its probable grasp poses. This paper presents the details of a simulation work involving a dual-arm collaborative robot with each arm consisting of seven degrees of freedom. The dual-arm robot performs a grasp routine for a geometry that is imported from CAD software. To perform the simulation the various attributes of the robot are to be observed since the simulated robot is a mimic of a commercially available one.

Over the years, transmission system plays a vital role in automobile industry in order to improve the performance of vehicle. Since 323 BC to till date gears plays a vital role in building the integral parts of washing machines, gear pumps, gear motors and wrist watches and so on. The lot of gear applications are extended in all sector of transmission mediums, without gear elements most of the transmission become invaluable in modern engineering industry. This paper aims to design and analysis of gear testing kit, for testing the load generation developed on the gear tooth through brake drum. The main objective of this work is to design the components in a gear testing kit and the components involved in the gear testing domain, are modelled using CATIA software. The main components in our paper are 1/2hp motor, coupling; shaft and bearing, mating gears are made of same dimensions and of different materials. Further the work is to analyse the mating gears which are made of same material and analysis are carried through ANSYS software. Static Structural Analysis is carried through ANSYS analytical Software. Two types of plots are performed and their corresponding Von – Misses stress and Total Deformation at three different torque levels are evaluated.

In recent years, Internet of Things (IOT) is being playing a major role in automation of Industries. Smart home systems are being employed in buildings to improve energy efficiency and reduce power wastage. Voice recognition is the current trend in automation. Regular methods of switching systems are difficult for paraplegic persons and blind persons since blind people can’t use the SMS method of automation. So voice recognition methods are preferred. Voice recognition systems involve calibration and programming to accept the user commands and operate the appliance. Amazon Echo dot, a smart speaker has an internally programmed Artificial Intelligence known as Alexa. It offers dual interaction and can be used to connect to Smart devices. To remedy the high cost of smart devices, we register a name in Alexa server as a smart device which comprises a Wi-Fi module and a relay. The Smart speaker and the Wi-Fi module form a single way communication which helps in controlling of appliance.

Electric vehicles were introduced in the year of 1908, where they have larger battery for power supply. Now- a- days the technique for charging e-bikes is done either by using grid supply or solar power. This paper says about charging circuit for batteries which uses both solar power and power from the grid to charge the electric vehicles. The charging with solar helps to reduce the emission from power grid. Ever-increasing demand for fuel supply, rising fuel prices, and increased environmental awareness among masses are paving the way for electric vehicles (EVs). Although, in recent years EV market has seen an exponential growth, one of the major challenges faced by this automotive/vehicular market. Now the Indian government had ordered to Indian Vehicle Association to launch the electric vehicles with in 2023. But the charging of electric Batteries has taken more time, which compare to fossil fuel and gas. To overcome this issue use of turbo charger, to reduce the charging time as well as self charging by solar during running time is proposed. The charger uses the source from EB grid and solar as well as at parking time. The results proves that proposed work have reduced the charging time of the lithium ion battery compared to the conventional charging technique and all under controlled temperature raise.

In this paper, a mathematical model for photon condensation in an optical microcavity is considered based on Gross-Pitaevskii equation. The interaction of photons with fluorescent dye molecules in an optical microcavity resembles electron-ion interaction in a periodic lattice. The system is modelled analogous to Kronig-Penney model for electrons in a one-dimensional periodic lattice. The laser used as the light source gives rise to nonlinearity due to the deformation of electron orbits in the fluorescent dye. To accommodate the optical Kerr effect which arises due to this nonlinear interaction, the resultant Schrodinger equation is modified, which assumes the form of Gross-Pitaevskii equation. The model is validated using equation of state, whose virial coefficients can be evaluated from grand canonical ensemble scheme taking into account the interaction between photons and fluorescent dye molecules.
