The objective of the research was to evaluate the in vitro antifungal activity of two extracts, governor (Larrea tridentata L.) and mustard (Sinapis alba L.) added with nanoparticles of silicon oxide (SiO) and zinc oxide (ZnO), on the mycelial growth and sporulation of Fusarium acuminatum. The poisoned medium method was used, inhibitory concentrations and the number of conidia were determined. Data were analyzed using a probit analysis, ANOVA and Tukey test (p = 0.05). The results showed that mustard treatments with ZnO have a better inhibitory effect and in sporulation governor treatments with SiO. Extracts added with nanoparticles are effective in the in vitro control of F. acuminatum. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
