- Abstract
Isolated orbital roof fractures are rare fractures that usually occur in conjunction with other facial bone fractures during high velocity trauma. This report concerns a patient with an isolated orbital roof fracture with encephalocele, including its diagnosis, surgical management, and clinical follow-up. This case required a multidisciplinary approach to safely repair the fracture, reduce the encephalocele, restore the orbital volume, and restore the patient's form and function., (Copyright © 2021 International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
