The research aims to investigate student perspectives on the effectiveness of nonthesis master's programs in educational management. The study group of the research, which was carried out with the phenomenology and case study design of the qualitative research approach, consisted of 22 participants determined by the maximum diversity sampling technique of the purposeful sampling method among the students of the non-thesis master's program in educational management. The insights obtained through semi-structured interview forms were analysed using content analysis. The findings of the research indicate that participants predominantly chose the non-thesis master's program in educational management to enhance qualitative aspects of their profession, pursue expertise in teaching, advance their careers, and foster personal development. The program was found to contribute theoretically and practically to various aspects of educational management, including studies in the field, understanding educational systems, knowledge acquisition, legal rights, discussion of field-related issues, change, experience, diverse perspectives, and individual differences. Overall, the program was perceived to meet students' expectations at a satisfactory level. However, it has been concluded that the implementation phase of the program needs improvement; to enhance the functionality of the program, it is essential to integrate and update courses by combining theory and practice. In line with the results obtained, suggestions were made to reduce the course density in non-thesis master's programs in educational management, to update course contents, to focus on practice, and to increase cooperation between universities and the Ministry of Education.
