Scientific productions result from researchers' thoughts and efforts; when published in credible journals or indexed by valid databases and cited by other researchers, they gain credibility. Publications also gain more credibility when they are indexed in actual and valid citation databases. The publication of scientific products in these databases increases visibility and the possibility and opportunity to increase their citations. The present research aims to investigate the factors effective in citing the articles published in Iranian journals with Impact Factor (IF) indexed in Journal Citation Reports (JCR) 2020. This applied study was done using scientometric indices. The research population consisted of Iranian publications with IF indexed in the JCR in 2020. Microsoft Excel was employed for data collection, and SPSS software was used for data analysis. The results showed that Iran, with 27,446 citations, acquired about 17% of citing Iranian publications with IF indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC). Also, 53.31% of articles had an organizational affiliation (publishers and publishing country) to public universities. The variables "subject area, multiple authorship, number of references, and interuniversity cooperation" positively and significantly correlated with the number of citations the Iranian publications with IF indexed in the WOSCC had received (citation rate). Defence Science Journal (DSJ) is the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), India's peer-reviewed research journal in defense science and technology research. This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of 1855 scholarly communications published in the journal during 1994 and 2020. The publications have been searched, identified, and downloaded from the Clarivate Analytics Web of Science Core Collection Database for 27 years, i.e., from 1994 to 2020. Software such as bibliometrix R-package Biblioshiny, VOSviewer, HistCite, and BibExcel have been successfully used to analyze the collected data. The study covers different features like types of documents, growth patterns, prolific authors, countries and institutions, and most cited sources. The majority of the publications were published in 2017. Researchers from the native country, India contributed the maximum number of articles (1405). The findings further indicate that the most prolific institution is the Indian Institute of Technology, which ranks top with 206 publications. This paper provides a systematic review of scientific resources to determine the components and indicators of the scholarly publication system. The research community includes 1070 documents from Scopus and the Web of Science databases. Another researcher was used to determine the degree of accuracy, reliability, and quality of the final documents, and the agreement between the two researchers was calculated with the Kappa coefficient. Finally, 331 documents were studied in full text. Possible components and indicators were identified from these documents, and their information was entered into Excel software. Based on the frequency and similarity of the contents, the conceptual framework of the scholarly publication system was designed. Research findings show that the main components of this system include infrastructure, technology, management, access, evaluation, support, language, communication, control, education, and ethics. Each of the components also has specific indicators and sub-indicators. Some issues, such as rights, laws, regulations, standards, repositories, scientific players, and centers, are not mentioned among the components because these concepts are integrated into other parts. Libraries, as organizations that typically deal with significant amounts of data, can use data mining techniques to make informed decisions based on discovered knowledge to optimize their services. Finding valuable hidden information or patterns in large amounts of data is highly important in library management and services. Academic libraries, as centers that continuously serve the scientific community, have been able to provide better services to their users by utilizing results from data-based studies for better resource and budget management or by using the information within their organizations. This study was conducted to systematically collect and analyze data mining studies in university libraries with a focus on applications, subject areas, techniques, and software used. Articles were retrieved from two major scientific databases (Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar) following PRISMA's preferred guidelines for literature review, and were screened and selected based on their relevance, techniques, software used, and subject areas. Many scientific texts are produced in Persian and available in scientific information databases through the Web. In this paper, FarsAcademic, a test collection of Persian scientific texts, has been built to implement information retrieval models among academic search comprising 102238 documents and 61 topics. While constructing FarsAcademic, we have tried to resolve the problems specific to information retrieval (IR) and natural language processing (NLP) in Persian scientific texts. Domain experts were employed to create queries within their research area, and user relevance and topical relevance were applied to improve the precision of relevance judgment of documents. Further, to improve retrieval performance in Persian scientific texts, automated query expansion was applied using one of the relevant feedback techniques, the Local Context Analysis algorithm. The result showed that query expansion techniques outperformed other information retrieval models in the Persian scientific texts retrieval task. Eventually, FarsAcademic became the only one that has been free of charge for Iranian information retrieval scholars to implement and evaluate different information retrieval models and algorithms on Persian scientific text and academic search. Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) has attracted increasing research interest in sustainable management and decision-making in recent years. To further understand the research status and trend, the purpose of this study is to adopt bibliometric and visual methods to analyze the knowledge structure and the evolution path in the research field of ESG. Based on 1735 papers on ESG in the Web of Science Collection database from 2004 to 2021, this study uses CiteSpace and VOSviewer to present a bibliometric overview of publications, citation structure, authors, universities, countries/regions, journals, and keywords that work on this Topic. Results indicate that scholars increasingly regard ESG as an integrated sustainability analysis framework and pay more attention to the connection among its dimensions. According to the growth trend, ESG may remain a hot research topic for the next few years. The USA is the most productive country, followed by England and China. Journals on ESG research with higher effective factors have higher cocitation frequency and publications. And Sustainable development, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, ESG, and ESG ratings as the research hotspots are presented. Additionally, this study provides an overview of the ESG research trends for future researchers. This study evaluated the scientometrics indices of Iranian medical sciences journals indexed in Web of Science, Scopus and PubMed databases until 2020. The present study is a descriptive and practical survey which was done using scientometric methods. The source of data collection includes Web of Science, Scopus and PubMed databases. Excel statistical software was used to analyze the data, and net draw software was used to plot the graphs. A survey on Iranian medical journals' status revealed that the number of journals in all three databases has been growing. "General and Internal Medicine", "Health", and "Pharmacology, Toxicology and Pharmacy" are the subjects with the highest number of indexed journals in these databases. Furthermore, a qualitative review of indexed journals showed that more than 70% of Iranian journals have an impact factor of less than two. "International Journal of Health Policy and Management" of Kerman medical sciences university and "Bioimpacts" of Tabriz medical sciences university are the only medical journals with impact factors greater than 3 (5.007 and 3.831). Conclusions: Generally, despite the significant growth of indexed medical journals in recent years, most Iranian journals are not ranked among high-quality journals according to global indexing criteria. As an active and emerging research field, knowledge strategy receives extensive academic attention and acts as a compass for knowledge management strategy. The main purpose of our research is to discover and visualize emergent and transient grouping of concepts and underlying research issues and their citation and cocitation footprints in knowledge strategy scientific literature. Based on the publications from Web of Science core databases from 1965 to 2018, a total of 403 publications matched the search criteria of this study. CiteSpace is applied for visualizing and analyzing trends and patterns of knowledge strategy scientific literature. Google Fusion application is used to show data distribution of knowledge strategy. This study showed that the area distribution of knowledge strategy research is worldwide and has spread especially in the United States, Europe, and other countries. According to this study, knowledge strategy and management are the research front keywords with more citations. Zack (1999) and Alavi (2001) are knowledge strategy's most prominent intellectual bases. Identifying emerging trends and abrupt changes in knowledge strategy are among the results of this study. This study aimed to identify the effect of Altmetrics indicators of Mendeley resource management database on scientometric indicators in Scopus and Web of Science citation databases. The present study is an applied and descriptive research that has been done by scientometric method with Altmetrics approach. The statistical sample for the study includes Iranian researchers in the field of nursing who had an indexed document in the Scopus citation database, in the period 2000-2019 and on the date of the research (20/03/2020), and was also a member of the Mendeley resource management database. There were 158 high-profile authors introduced by Scopus. Findings illustrated that there is no significant relationship between the h-index in Scopus and the followers' index in Mendeley. However, there is a significant relationship between the other indicators studied in these two databases. There is also a significant relationship between co-authorship index, h-index, citations, readers, publications, and viewers in Mendeley scientific social network with indexes of citation number and h-index in the Web of Science citation database. But there is no significant relationship between the follower's index and these indicators. Examining the relationship between the numbers of citations received in Mendeley, Scopus, and Web of Science shows that there is a significant relationship between the numbers of citations received in these databases. Respectively, the strongest correlation, in this case, is between the citation index received in the Mendeley and Web of Science database, Mendeley and Scopus, and finally Scopus and Web of science. There is also a significant relationship between the etch index in the Mendeley, Scopus, and Web of Science databases. The present study measures the research productivity of library and Information science departments in the Middle East. Data were collected from 16 countries whose LIS departments had at least one article indexed in Clarivate Analytics Web of Science between 2014 and 2018. Journals’ Citation Report was also used to collect further data. In measuring research productivity, the number of departments’ articles indexed in the Web of Science database and the size of each department (number of faculties) is considered as output and input, respectively. Findings indicated that Bar Ilan University had the highest research productivity (3.7), followed by Shiraz University (1.17) and Hacettepe University (1.04). Regarding LIS Department Research productivity, Israel, Turkey, Jordan, Kuwait, and Iran ranked first to fifth. The results of this research can contribute to identifying highly productive and influential departments and lay the groundwork for a well-oriented scientific policy and cooperation. The development of purposeful and principled programs meant to improve the scientific level of countries requires the assessment and measurement of research, and oil industry research is no exception. Therefore, examining the quantitative and qualitative growth trend of products in petroleum engineering can be a guideline for decision-makers and politicians to develop and advance this field. This research is a scientometric study conducted using the co-citation analysis technique. The statistical population of the present study includes all articles in the field of petroleum engineering indexed in the Web of Science database from January 1, 1985, to December 31, 2019. All full record and cited references with tagged format were marked as plain text files to performing analysis. Ravar PreMap, UCINET and NetDraw software were used to identify countries and researchers in question and do a co-citation study. The annual growth trend of articles in petroleum engineering has had an upward trend between 1985 and 2019. Finally, by examining the research in this area, it was found that based on centrality indices, "BAHADORI, ALIREZA" from New South Wales Oil and Gas Company of Australia and "MOHAMMADI, AMIR H." from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa have played a more important role in scientific production in the field of petroleum engineering according to rank and intermediate centrality indices. Co-citation analysis of articles can show the most important articles and their relationships. The present research attempts to identify the impact of retracted papers on previous or subsequent papers. We consider the 5693 retracted papers from 1975 to 2020 indexed in the Web of Science database based on bibliometric methods. We use HistCite, Excel, and SPSS software as technical means. The findings suggest a significant difference between the average number of retracted and unretracted papers when cited in retracted papers. Furthermore, there is a significant difference between the average number of unretracted and retracted papers citing retracted papers. The reasons for the retraction of an article may not be the previous retracted papers, yet unretracted papers may be retracted later because of referring to (many) retracted papers. Studying the social impact of scientific outputs on social media alongside their professional impact in the scientific database could lead the policymakers to outline the scientific roadmap. The current research aimed to investigate the relationship between altmetrics activity (social impact) and the quality of the maternity and midwifery journals (professional impact) indexed by Scopus in 2018. In this descriptive and relational research, altmetric and bibliometric indicators were utilized to study journal performance. The population included all maternity and midwifery journals in the Scopus (n=25). Altmetric Explorer, Scopus, Scimago Journal, Country Ranking (SJR), plus Journal Metrics were used for data gathering. Moreover, data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential tests in Microsoft Excel and SPSS. Of the 1944 papers with unique DOIs published in maternity and midwifery journals in 2018, 952 articles were mentioned at least one time on social media platforms (altmetrics coverage of 48.97%). The highest rank of the altmetrics coverage belonged to the Midwifery journal, The Journal of Perinatal and Neonatal Nursing, and Women and Birth, respectively. On the other side, the highest rank of the altmetrics attention belonged to Breastfeeding Medicine, The Journal of Perinatal and Neonatal Nursing, and Geburtshilfe und Frauenheilkunde, accordingly. There was a positive and statistically significant relationship between the altmetrics activity of journals and their qualitative metrics. This study accounts for the growth analysis of research output in the knowledge management (KM) domain in Africa, using the Web of Science database between 1974 and 2019. The implication that necessitates this study was the intertwined nature of the KM domain associated with other fields of study. The interpretive content/document analysis was used to extract publications using key terms of knowledge management from the Web of Science database within 45 years. The extract of the document analysis and the presentation of results took four weeks. The findings indicated that 2,564 publications such as articles, conference papers, reviews, and proceedings were the platforms used the most within the period. Management was at the top of the list of subject areas. A top journal that publishes KM papers is the South African Journal of Science. The most productive institutions by affiliation were the University of Cape Town and the University of Pretoria, and inter-continental collaboration in research in KM was affirmed with the United States of America (USA). The National Research Foundation of South Africa is among the top bodies that fund research in Africa. The growth analysis of publication output in KM in Africa indicates a slow productivity rate of 6.4 percent within the period covered. This paper demonstrates that the KM domain remains an evolving and interesting phenomenon, which requires integration in different organizations. Nowadays, scientific collaboration has dramatically increased due to web-based technologies, advanced communication systems, and information and scientific databases. The present study aims to provide a predictive model for author collaborations in bioinformatics research output using graph mining techniques and big data applications. The study is applied-developmental research adopting a mixed-method approach, i.e., a mix of quantitative and qualitative measures. The research population consisted of all bioinformatics research documents indexed in PubMed (n=699160). The correlations of bioinformatics articles were examined in terms of weight and strength based on article sections including title, abstract, keywords, journal title, and author affiliation using graph mining techniques and big data applications. Eventually, the prediction model of author collaboration in bioinformatics research was developed using the abovementioned tools and expertassigned weights. The calculations and data analysis were carried out using Expert Choice, Excel, Spark, and Scala, and Python programming languages in a big data server. Accordingly, the research was conducted in three phases: 1) identifying and weighting the factors contributing to authors' similarity measurement; 2) implementing co-authorship prediction model; and 3) integrating the first and second phases (i.e., integrating the weights obtained in the previous phases). The results showed that journal title, citation, article title, author affiliation, keywords, and abstract scored 0.374, 0.374, 0.091, 0.075, 0.055, and 0.031. Moreover, the journal title achieved the highest score in the model for the co-author recommender system. As the data in bibliometric information networks is static, it was proved remarkably effective to use content-based features for similarity measures. So that the recommender system can offer the most suitable collaboration suggestions. It is expected that the model works efficiently in other databases and provides suitable recommendations for author collaborations in other subject areas. The aim of the present study is to visualize the dynamics of conceptual clusters, hidden patterns and emerging knowledge of "cybernetics in Middle Eastern countries" subject area in a global scale based on the co-word analysis of scientific outcomes indexed in the Web of Science database. This research is an applied one, performed with the co-word analysis method and analytical approach. The population includes 2280 keywords from 705 records in the cybernetics subject area in Middle Eastern countries, published in 7 journals indexed in the Web of Science database until 2018. To have a coherence set of data and create the co-occurrence matrix, RavarPreMap software applied. Then, using SPSS 16 and VOSViewer, the subjects were clustered and mapped. Specifications of co-word networks such as centrality and density illustrated using UCInet software in the form of a strategic diagram. Thereby, the situation and evolutionary branches of the cybernetics subject area revealed in Middle Eastern countries. The trend of scientific productions in cybernetics in Middle Eastern counties is incremental. Computer science, with 444 records, is the core subject in the mentioned studies. Researchers' intellectual structures are identifiable in 12 clusters. The most significant cluster is the twelfth one, named master data mining algorithms and including 20 keywords. The distribution of clusters in the strategic diagram shows that Clusters 1, 2, and 4 are core issues in the subject area. Furthermore, they are mature and coherent, being studied at the core of the research area, having a core and developable role. The coword analysis is a proper and powerful method in discovering and visualizing science and knowledge, tracking sciences, studying the trend of conceptual dynamicity, identifying and analyzing researchable fields in the subject area of cybernetics. During the last decades, market orientation has received a great deal of attention from marketing scholars. In recent years, there has been an increased focus on the relationship between market orientation and business performance. This study aims at enhancing the researchers' knowledge of market orientation and performance through analysis of international scientific researches over the past thirty years. This study, as an inductive and explorative research, by using systematic review and synthesis research, considers the researches in the field of market orientation and performance. Articles indexed by the Web of Science during the years 1900-2019 and three other scientific databases (Science Direct, Emerald, and Springer) were thoroughly investigated. The VOS Viewer software was used to perform the analysis. In the present study, from the 324 articles published by various authors, based on the report of the Web of Science database, scientific articles published on the impact of market orientation on performance grew significantly in the year 2015, and the United States, China and the United Kingdom have had the highest numbers of research. By using an evaluative view of the research, a comprehensive model is presented, which can also be used as a framework for researchers and managers. This study considers the importance of market orientation in promoting performance as a momentous and valuable structure. In this paper, the opinions of bioinformatics experts were sought to examine the knowledge semantic maps. The research question was whether the mapping of bioinformatics field articles could contribute to the reflection of knowledge map in this field; can knowledge within articles be demonstrated through a knowledge map? The research type was applied and analytical. Data collection was performed in two ways. First, the data were collected from scientific databases by using semantic search software and drawing knowledge maps by the software. Second, Delphi technique was used in two stages in order to obtain the opinion of experts regarding these knowledge semantic maps and co-concepts in bioinformatics field. In this method, first, the co-concepts map of the articles exported by Yewno and the knowledge semantics map were presented to the experts to get their viewpoints. By implementing the Delphi approach, the opinions of experts in examining the application of knowledge semantic maps resulted in the phonological analysis of articles in this field. The analysis results demonstrated that the knowledge map of bioinformatics studies dynamically developed over time. Among different tools, university website is one of the cost-effective and convenient methods for communicating with users; it is also a platform for institutions or organizations to achieve their goals. Universities should work on their websites to keep positive images in their public minds. This study aimed to introduce overlapping various types of university website evaluation methods and models. Therefore, content analysis was adopted as the research methodology. Then, scientific databases were searched using the related keywords and extracting the published articles in the context of the university website evaluation. The results of this study showed that university website evaluation models and methods included Quality Web Model Development, Webqem, WAI, Webometrics, E-Qual, University Websites Evaluation and Credibility (UWEAC), University Website Evaluation Framework (UWEF), Development and Validation of the University Website Evaluation Scale (UWES), a Web Usability Evaluation Model for Higher Education (WUEM), University Websites Quality Web Model Development, University Portals Data Quality assessment Framework (UPDQAF), and the University Website Usability Evaluation checklist (UWUE): An exploratory study. In fact, webometrics is the only method that is distinct from other assessment methods. Moreover, UWEAC model with the highest average (0.194) has the most overlap with others. Since the University Websites Evaluation and Credibility (UWEAC) are the comprehensive model, university website designers and evaluators could consider this approach as a preferable model in the university website evaluation but they should ensure that most of the evaluation criteria are considered. The results of this study showed that university website evaluation models and methods included Quality Web Model Development, Webqem, WAI, Webometrics, E-Qual, University Websites Evaluation and Credibility (UWEAC), University Website Evaluation Framework (UWEF), Development and Validation of the University Website Evaluation Scale (UWES), a Web Usability Evaluation Model for Higher Education (WUEM), University Websites Quality Web Model Development, University Portals Data Quality assessment Framework (UPDQAF), and the University Website Usability Evaluation checklist (UWUE): An exploratory study. In fact, webometrics is the only method that is distinct from other assessment methods. Moreover, UWEAC model with the highest average (0.194) has the most overlap with others. Since the University Websites Evaluation and Credibility (UWEAC) are the comprehensive model, university website designers and evaluators could consider this approach as a preferable model in the university website evaluation but they should ensure that most of the evaluation criteria are considered. To achieve a sustainable development, each country requires a defined interaction between universities, government and industry. The economic, social and cultural development plans in Iran has emphasized on "accountability of scientific, research and educational centers for social, cultural and industrial demands". This is obvious also in the field of veterinary science. Also, the collaborations of colleges, organizations and industries in this field can contribute to enhance productivity, providing food security and achieving the goals of the resistance economy. Accordingly, using Triple Helix method, the present research investigates the status of university, government and industry interactions in scientific production of Iranians in the field of veterinary science during 2010-2018. The research population was scientific papers of veterinary science research area, indexed in Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) or Web of Science database (WOS) by at least one Iranian author during 2010 - 2018. Also, the interactions between UGI were calculated, using ISI.EXE for coding the affiliations and Shannon's information theory formulas. The results of the study showed that a very small percentage of articles published in veterinary science are written by non-university researchers or even by co-authorship of university and other sectors of the triple helix. Among bilateral relations, the UG interactions had the highest value. The best years for UGI interactions, were the year 2016 and 2013 for ISC articles and 2010 and 2011 for WOS articles. The results also, showed considering the scientific articles published in internal journals (ISC) have a high positive impact on the T-value of UGI interactions, as ISC trilateral interactions are remarkably better than WOS articles.
