Abstract

The author comments on the article "Thirty-Five-Year Trends in Cardiovascular Risk Factors in Finland" by E. Vartiainen and colleagues. He relates a study which describes the common lifestyle of individuals living in Finland, Scandinavia and most of Northern Europe. He highlights the results of the study in Finland. He emphasizes the need to address the increasing cardiovascular mortality rates.
