In this paper two simple and effective methods are presented for solving electromagnetic problems of rectangular waveguides, loaded with lossy dielectrics. Electromagnetic waves in magnetized (gyromagnetic) ferrite spheres are investigated by using coupled wave theory. Fields are expressed by means of superposition of modes in isotropic case.
