An effort to cultivate process spirit to student has to be done patiently. That process will make them remember that success is an accumulation of ability to solve the problem. Big success is an accumulation of little successes. Long-term objective achieved with midterm and short-term effort. Every success full people have reached his point with process full of strategy, struggle, patience and perseverance. Participative education enriched with process will teach student to think critical and open mind.

One of education goal is how to realize fair society, by not discriminate one sex. But the reality exist discrimination at education that necessitate several effort to solve it, on of it is by formulating curriculum that have gender perspective. Curriculum is a development of vision and mission of educational institution that want to realize education goal. Gender curriculum is based on an assumption that woman and man are equal in education, and have equal opportunity to get education. In its application, gender curri­culum can be formulated implicitly (hidden curriculum), or explicitly (overt curriculum). However, to explain gender problems we recommend explicit way.

Indonesia have acquainted with multiculturalism from a long time ago, explicit from Kitab Sutasoma by Empu Tantular. From this book, Indonesia adopts jargon Bhineka Tunggal Ika to provide a place for diversity that very complex. However, this complex diversity if didn’t managed carefully will trigger division through primordial conflict. This article will suggest importance of education that endorse multiculturalism as understanding to diversity—that actually have one direction. This article is important if we look at recent times where do many ethnic conflicts like at Poso, Kupang, Sampit, Sambas, and several regions. If its let prolonged, those conflict can deprave solidarity spirit of Indonesian nation.
