Abstract

The article reports on the status of information services with emphasis on the factors that directly affects the quality of its basic functions. The author cites the basic functions of information agencies such as libraries and archives which include the collection of newspapers so that readers can gain access to their contents without further hassle. Likewise, the author cites the result of the research which subjected six nationwide distributed daily newspapers. The research used data gathering methods including interviews and questionnaires.
