Abstract

The article focuses on the agreement of not-for-profit firm Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL) and the Taylor & Francis Group (T&FG) to set lower fees or provide free article processing charge (APC) for works of researchers from nations with developing economies. Topics covered include EIFL as signatory in the Budapest Open Access Initiative and the open access (OA) journals of T&FG and Routledge. Also mentioned are peer review of submitted papers and the Counter initiative of EIFL.
