The review of legal documents regarding to the diagnosis process of the students that evidence special educational needs, offer references about this process by means of the periods of guidance and follow up work, as the stage in which it is developed. However they do not reveal the knowledge system and abilities that as a part of the directors' functions may know for managing it. That's why this investigation is derived having as a title: Evaluation of the implementation of actions for the preparation of directors for the diagnosis of students. Its objective is to evaluate the impact of pedagogical actions applied to the directors of primary schools for their preparation in the direction of diagnosis process of students that evidence special educational needs associated with the behavior; theoretical, descriptive and empirical methods were applied. Adescriptive cross-sectional study was carried out in Sancti Spíritus Municipality in the scholar course 2016-2017. As a result it was obtained the elevation of director's preparation of primary schools by means of pedagogical actions of the theoretical and legal references that support this process. Doing an appropriate professional pedagogical guidance becomes a social problem of top priority, due to the fact that when students get to Ninth Grade they face, for the first time, the chance to select a school to continue his studies. However, there are barriers around this social task; like the lack of schools staff preparation and particularly that of the school level supervisors who should lead the School Grade Boards, among its functions are to plan actions for labour and vocational development and also for the professional pedagogical guidance. This article is a result of a research activity carried out by the author who is a Ph. D. Candidate on Pedagogical Sciences. This investigation has as an objective to propose a developmental program to increase the school level supervisors preparation on the professional pedagogical guidance in Junior High School. This program is conceived as a system and starts with an upgrade course, goes on with workshops and ends with a training course. Its main axis is the research method acquisition. The presented work proposes a methodology oriented to the evaluation of the process of director's preparation which may contribute to the improvement of the program. It explains the need of the evaluation, activity as such, indicators to evaluate, methods and techniques to be used and the steps in which have to be done. Until now doesn't exist a methodology which can evaluate the process of directors' preparation in the educational sector. The development of this methodology has as a background the result obtained by means of different investigations made in the Provincial Post Office and that later were applied in the Provincial Department of Education. Nowadays is perfected in the Pedagogical University "Capitán Silverio Blanco Núñez", thus, the employment opportunities in similar processes of other entities. In the proposed methodology is conceived that the process evaluation of the director's preparation flows out in a cyclical manner, continuous, flexible, and interactive, away from the traditional linear formula, rigid and schematic. From the above idea it can be identify four stages, and the relevant procedures, the evaluation of the process of directors' preparation in education. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
