Abstract

The article presents information on the wage gap that persists in the racist labour market. According to the Scores on the Armed Forces Qualification Test which is based on standard human capital wage equation, the education and standard human capital characteristics are one-half of the black-white wage gap. The quality and the quantity of education are different among the black and white people. A study finds that both pre-market and labour market played an important role in the black-white wage gap.
