In the paper we discuss how one could solve the second problem of digital watermarking. It has been presented a solution to copy protection of multimedia objects and dozens of schemes and algorithms have been proposed. Two main problems seriously darken the future of this technology though. The large number of attacks and weaknesses which appear as fast as new algorithms are proposed emphasizes the limits ofthis technology and in particular the fact that it may not match users' expectations. Requirements, tools and methodologies to assess the current technologies are almost non-existent. The lack of benchmarking ofcurrent algorithms is blatant. This confuses rights holders as well as software and hardware manufacturers and prevents them from using the solution appropriate to their needs. Indeed basing long-lived prQtection schemes on badly tested watermarking technology does not make sense

The design of models of a circuit for error detection and correction that is used between the microprocessor and memory fulfil the error-control function, which performs flow-through error detection and correction of data written to, and read from the memory. This allows the microprocessor to take the action in the extremely rare case of two bits being error at the same time.

The paper interests in continuous diagnostics of the heart of the old people by the transmission of ECG signal through voice channel of mobile telephone. The ECG signal is measured during active life, it is compressed through 24 hours and stored in the memory to be possible a long term ECG diagnostics. The time compression is supported by wavelet analysis in special processor. The implementation of "Wavelet Analyser" uses custom design and FPGA circuitry. The ECG signal is compressed in amplitude, and it is equipped by redundancy of error control code before transmission by the voice channel of mobile telephone line.

Design and implementation of recent advances in high-speed networking technology and the associated demand for flexibility have resulted in the emergence of Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) as the ultimate solution for Broadband Integrated Services Digital Network (B-ISDN). An implementation ofATM network consists of user end stations that send and receive data cells over virtual connections. These connections are implemented by using a switching system. The switching system consists of a switch that routes the data cells and a line of each link or group of links. The ATM switch includes not only routing and cell processing, but takes on some other functions of control. The FPGA implementation is optimised for short time response and compact solution.

The two solutions are used for mixed mode modelling: the system level modelling and the transistor level one. The both approaches are used through analogue-mixed signal designing. The VHDL-AMS (VHDL - Analogue & Mixed Signals) supplements the sequential and concurrent statements of VHDL-I076 with a new class of language statements for description of differential and algebraic equations. These are the simultaneous statements. Simultaneous statements contain ordinary VHDL expressions that can be evaluated in the ordinary way. The other way of modelling is based on transistor level solutions. It is necessary for practical design to be applicable requirements of models in the language imposed by the design objective to support a migration path for SPICE models.
