The article discusses the significance of mobile robots in responding various accidents in mining sites in the U.S. It states that mobile robots have a significant role in identifying certain threats that may be hazardous to the rescue teams. Robots are also an invaluable tool when an explosion occurred or when heavy smoke prevent team members from entering a mine. Robots can be use in bringing the mine back into operation. The two major roles of a robot include the tasks that need to be accomplished, and the socioorganizational culture.
