In this study, a novel circuit model was proposed for the design of multifunction integrated diplexers with frequency division, frequency selection, and power division functions. The proposed highly integrated multifunctional diplexer mainly comprises only two different-frequency multimode resonators and two isolation resistors, which results in a compact circuit size. The distributed coupling technique was adopted to integrate the two multimode resonators. One resonator was used to form a channel passband, and the other resonator was used to form another channel passband. Moreover, each channel passband can be independently designed and flexibly allocated. The two resistors loaded between the output feeding lines were introduced to improve the impedance matching of the output ports and the isolation between the output ports for each channel. The coupling structures, theoretical analysis, and design procedure for the proposed multifunction integrated diplexers are described. For demonstration, multifunction integrated diplexers with second-order and third-order filtering responses were designed and fabricated using microstrip technology. The experiment and simulation results were consistent and indicated satisfactory in-band and out-of-band performance.

With the rapid development of emerging technologies, the unmanned and intelligent degree of combat forces in the combat system of systems(SoS) has been continuously improved, making the operational equipment more diverse. How to better describe the multiple functions and forces hybrid combat SoS becomes a difficult problem. Changes in combat forces have transformed the operational style from single platform to cluster, which puts forward higher demands on the timeliness of the development of course of action(COA), which is the key step in the formulation of operational planning. It is of great military value to study the model of the hybrid new complex combat SoS, as well as the generation and optimization of the operational plan under the new combat model. This paper extends the FINC (Force, Intelligence, Networking, C2) model of heterogeneous networks, adds a variety of new intelligent unmanned combat force nodes, and proposes a new Force Intelligent Network C2 and Autonomous Model (FINCA2) which represents more different types of function nodes and communication relationships between nodes. Based on this, this paper proposes six types of 12 kinds functionally simple, frequently used, and practically function chains (FC) for the new combat SoS. Through the Joint Mission Thread (JMT) method, the operational mission is decomposed to get specific operational actions, action relationships, and requirements list of function chains for the actions, and complete the matching of actions and resources. Based on the idea of sigmoid function in neural network, the multi-objective optimization algorithm NSGA-III is improved to find the Pareto frontier of the action order scheme that satisfies the task association relationship. Finally, the method proposed in this paper is verified by the case of a brigade-level combat SoS participating in border operations.

With the development of unmanned equipment technology, new types of intelligent weapons such as loitering missile and unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) are widely used. The combat system of systems (SoS) presents the characteristics of multifunctional combat equipment and hybrid manned and unmanned force units. At present, the research of mission planning is mostly oriented to a single factor, does not consider a variety of operational activities. Therefore, how to describe the hybrid operational organization of multiple functions and force units and to accomplish mission planning for various operational activities has very practical significance. In this paper, the FINC(Force, Intelligence, Networking, C2) model is extended, a new model framework of unmanned combat force with the function of integrated observe and attack is proposed, which is called Force Intelligent Network Command and Control Model with autonomous platform (FINCA). Four types and eight different function chains are proposed for the hybrid Combat SoS. Through the capability requirements and resource constraints, the operational tasks are mapped to the types and quantities of function chains that needed to accomplish this task, and the multi-priority list dynamic reconstruction scheme (MPLDCS) method is used to generate the function chain planning scheme. The many-objective optimization algorithm NSGA-III is improved, let mission execution time, connection change induced consumption, and the real-time remaining number of UAV composed the objective function to find all possible Pareto front. Finally, the method proposed in this paper was validated by the case of the modular and reconfigurable fire brigade proposed by the US.Army to participate in the border operations.

As one of the hot issues in cloud computing, task scheduling is an important way to meet user needs and achieve multiple goals. With the increasing number of cloud users and growing demand for cloud computing, how to reduce the task completion time and improve the system load balancing ability have attracted increasing interest from academia and industry in recent years. To meet the two aforementioned goals, this paper develops an EDA-GA hybrid scheduling algorithm based on EDA (estimation of distribution algorithm) and GA (genetic algorithm). First, the probability model and sampling method of EDA are used to generate a certain scale of feasible solutions. Second, the crossover and mutation operations of GA are used to expand the search range of solutions. Finally, the optimal scheduling strategy for assigning tasks to virtual machines is realized. This algorithm has advantages of fast convergence speed and strong search ability. The algorithm proposed in this paper is compared with EDA and GA via the CloudSim simulation experiment platform. The experimental results show that the EDA-GA hybrid algorithm can effectively reduce the task completion time and improve the load balancing ability.

This study proposed a new method and structure for designing a diplexer-integrated filtering power divider. A filtering function with equal power division was integrated with a diplexer. The multifunctional diplexer comprised eight coupled resonators and two 50-Ω resistors with a distributed coupling structure. Moreover, a connected coupling technique provided improved flexibility and freedom to construct the diplexer. High isolation was obtained using the proposed coupling configuration through the introduction of out-of-phase cancellation between multiple coupling routes. Moreover, because the distributed coupling structure was employed as an input, no complex matching network was required; this significantly reduced the size and simplified the design of the diplexer. Moreover, each channel passband was individually designed. For demonstration, a multifunctional diplexer operating at 1 and 1.15 GHz with a second-order Chebyshev bandpass response and equal power splitting was designed and fabricated using microstrip technology, and the simulation results were consistent with the measured results.
