By integrating RFID (radio frequency identification) and WSN ( wireless sensor network) technologies a new logistics warehouse management system (WMS) is presented in this paper. In the new WMS, RFID facilitates goods tracking and tracing. WSN, on the other hand, provides information about the warehouse environment. After analyzing several integration forms of RFID and WSN, we adopt integrating RFID readers with WSN nodes to realize the system. RFID readers and WSN nodes form the smart nodes which are important in the system. The framework of the system is proposed. The hardware and software of the smart node are implemented in the paper. The system not only identifies goods more easily and accurately, but also can monitor the warehouse environment for 24 hours. The cost is low and the system is more efficient. It meets the requirements of cold supply chain and other logistics of dangerous products on warehouse management.

By using principal component analysis theory and factor analysis method of multivariate statistical analysis, and taking the practice of building two-oriented society pilot region for comprehensive reforms in Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan region as an example, this paper discussed how to propel coordinated development between urban industry and logistics industry in the process of building “twooriented society”. Based on the analysis of important factors affecting the competitive advantage of urban environment – friendly logistics park industrial cluster with SPSS software, and taking several factors into consideration, such as resource saving, ecological environmental protection, economic development and population, this paper puts forward the suggestions how to construct urban environment -- friendly logistics park industrial cluster. The research aimed at accelerating the clustering development of logistics park industry and opening up a practical, effective and innovative green logistics channel of urban industry upgrading.

Air Cargo plays an important role in integrated logistics system. A scientific and rational cargo flight planning is a prerequisite for successful implementation of air cargo transportation. The selection of cargo flights is a multi-attributes decision making process. It is difficult for decision-makers to give a definite value and evaluation indicator for every factor involved. In this paper, the author comprehensively analyzes the influence factors of flight planning and builds an optimal evaluation index system. Furthermore, based on the evaluation of each index in the form of interval number, the evaluating model for optimization of air cargo planning is established by applying relative membership degree rule. Finally, an example is given to show the effectiveness and feasibility of this method. Air Cargo plays an important role in the comprehensive logistics system, and a scientific and rational cargo flight scheme (CFS) is the prerequisite for the successful implementation of air cargo. The purpose of developing CFS is to optimize aircrafts, routes, personnel, capital and other limited resources of airlines so that decision makers can determine the scientific and reasonable routes, aircraft and flight schedule which can achieve maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness. There are a lot of factors for decision makers to consider in the process of developing the CFS, and these factors have their own different attributes and different significances respectively, as the result, the evaluation of these factors is difficult to quantify. The CFS will determine whether air cargo meets the freight demand, and has directly influenced company's survival and growth. Much research has been conducted on optimal selection of passenger flight scheme, however, very few of the research focuses on optimal selection of cargo flight scheme (Sun, et al. 2004), (Feng, et al. 2009).Therefore, the study on selecting and sequencing of CFS has important and practical significance. In this paper, the authors establish CFS evaluation index system. Due to the co-existence of qualitative and quantitative attributes where quantitative attributes are difficult to accurately quantify and the attribute weights are difficult to determine, to solve this problem, this paper uses the uncertain multi-attribute decision model where the attribute values and the weights are interval numbers

It is very important to balance different modes of transportation. This paper analyzes the maximization of general benefit of transportation which is based on bi-level programming model, when there are many different modes to be chosen by passengers. This model may avoid wasting transport resources while there is fierce competence between different modes of transportation. The bi-level programming model of traffic equilibrium network flow between cities may be solved by the algorithm of simulated annealing. There are several characteristics of China passenger transportation such as long distance, huge traffic flow, strong temporal and regional, because of the feature of geographical conditions and the economics of China. Recently, central government and local government tried their best to develop the different types of transportation. But there are still many problems which are results of the uncoordinated situation between different departments of government. This paper aims to coordinate different resources and rationalizes Chinese transportation. Si Bingfeng and etc. (2004) construct model of transportation separation modes with the integrated transportation and analyses the behavior of transportation selection with several modes of transportation. Tian xiaoyan (2006) analyses the diversification of traffic flow with different modes of transportation, when some conditions of transportation change. Chen huajian, Wei bangcheng and etc. (2003, 2008) study the optimization tickets price of railway, the traffic flow of integrated transportation network and optimization railway market by bi-level programming model.

The freight yard is the basic production unit of railway freight transportation. The slotting optimization in it is significant to increase the utilization of freight site, reduce the operating cost of freight yard and enhance the operating benefits of the railway transportation enterprise. This paper analyzes major factors influencing the slotting optimization, and puts forward an optimized mathematical model which is based on the principle of minimizing the time to store and fetch goods. Moreover, the major factors are transformed with penalty-function; meanwhile, improved genetic algorithm is taken as the method. Finally, this paper adopts MATLAB genetic algorithm (GA) Toolbox to carry out the visualized solution for the optimization, the results of which indicate that the slotting optimization model can well enhance the efficiency of storing and fetching goods, and realize the aim of minimizing the cost in the freight yard.

With the rapid development of technology, popularity of home appliances and the development of consumer electronics industry a staggering amount of home appliance products are phased out and scrapped each year in the world. This article explores building the environment symbiotic type of household electrical appliances reverse logistics model. Based on circular economy and sustainable development, the paper stresses the home appliances manufactures to establish a green image. In addition, it emphasizes symbiosis synergies with the environment to design and construct reverse logistics operation mode of home appliances that helps to promote the healthy development of the economy and consumption. This paper taking home appliances manufactures as examples analyzes reverse logistics business processes and researches the building of reverse logistics information system using recovery product as the main line.

Vehicle routing problem is a typical NP hard problem in combinatorial optimization. This paper proposes an improved algorithm, namely Immune Ant Colony Algorithm to solve the problem of vehicle routing problem. The algorithm is based on the intelligent optimization idea- Ant Colony Algorithm and Artificial Immune Algorithm. In this paper, in order to solve the problem of vehicle routing problem effectively four aspects are modified to improve the basic ant colony algorithm. And the improved Artificial Immune Algorithm is used to solve the problem of Ant Colony Algorithm to be apt to plunge into as the local optimum solution. On the basis of these improvements, the framework of the new algorithm—Immune Ant Colony Algorithm is given. Finally, it was proved that Immune Colony Algorithm can quicken the convergence rate to obtain optimal solution and decrease computing time. In addition, the computing simulation examples show its validity.

There is an interactive relation between port and city, i.e. not only the port development impacts the city development, but also the city development impacts the port development. This paper systematically discusses the interactive development relation in terms of the evolution history of the port and city, the pulling effect from port to city and the promotion of city on port development. It does not reflect the interactive relation well only by a single equation. In this paper, the port cargo throughput prediction model considering the interaction between port and city was established, as it can response well to the objective interaction relationship between the port and the city, and has a great value of application.

This paper analyzes the major influencing factors of the traffic safety on the basis of the present traffic safety, and establishes a traffic safety evaluation system. Especially, on the basis of the existed traffic safety evaluation methods, this paper puts forward a new traffic safety evaluation system —a method called integrated evaluation of road traffic safety that is based on Delphi-AHP-Fuzzy. When using the new method, the paper combines Delphis, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluating and Matrix in an integrated way. In the end of this paper, a typical example is used to demonstrate that the actual procedure of the method is effective, simple and intuitive and have no dependence of historical data, etc.

This paper demonstrates the two main factors that are involved in the location of chain supermarket in mega polis including the attraction of residents around the market and the management cost. The article establishes multiple-objective programming model in the location of chain supermarket which is based on the maximum attraction and minimum variable management cost. Then, the paper proposes a model in which the residents scale, purchasing power, distance between market and a bus station are regarded as the attraction indexes. In addition, the transportation cost and risk cost are regarded as the distribution cost indexes. Finally, an example has been employed which is resolved by lingo software to obtain the best location place.

On the basis of logistics network’s reality circumstances, the paper puts forward a model of hubs optimization for non-strict hub-and-spoke logistics network specifying nodes cost. The paper uses Tabu search algorithm combined with Floyd to solve the model. The model and algorithm are tested by example of logistics network, and result indicates that the model and algorithm are usable for hubs optimization.

With the development of social economy and technology, the transportation is striding forward from single mode to diversification and harmonious multimode of comprehensive transportation system. The whole process of cargo flow is often completed with several means of transport. The paper emphasizes that the key to realize seamless linking up in regional logistics is rational transportation organization on the basis of shared logistics service system of integrating all types of transportation. To provide assistance for selecting transportation mode more efficiently, economically and rationally, this paper discusses the framework of the subsidiary decision system of transportation mode selection in regional logistics based on multi-agent and analyzes the structure and functions. Finally, the processing flow is discussed which aims at the optimization objectives, constraints and the feasibility of applying mobile agent.

This paper analyzes a novel control strategy for cophase traction power supply device (CTPSD). In this paper, the advantages of the direct control mode over other control mode are presented by describing the theoretical basis, working mechanism and control system design in detail. Furthermore, the typical behavior of this control mode is simulated to present the control effectiveness. It should be noted that the voltage and current distortion are not being detected and calculated in this way. The results of the research show that when compared with the directly compensation mode, the directly control mode is a good solution for the real-time detection of distortion especially for the unknown disturbances of power network. Therefore, the problem of detecting and calculating the distortion without delay can be solved.

As the occurrence of natural disasters has become more frequent, the issue to set up an emergency service facility has become a very urgent problem. However, the choice of the location by the traditional method lacks the adequate theoretical site for the purpose of this contingency. The paper proposes improved cost-type P-median model, comprehensive coverage model and also presents an improved model of the location problems. In addition, the article demonstrates the modern heuristic algorithms for the effectiveness of the model. Finally, the paper reviews an analysis of actual cases solved by modeling Guangdong Province.

Various sensors, automatic machines and intelligent technology (IT) applications make it possible to manage a dairy farm supply chain on a more detailed level than before. The paper aims to describe a new system which can be used to develop an Intelligent Communication Technology (ICT) system as dairy farm management tools to describe, document and control all processes on dairy production. With the intelligent and integrated system the farm managers never needed to operate several computers each day and manually transfer data from one unit to another, and even made more rational decision through acquiring amount of information. Main Construction, technical views and the architecture of the Multi-purpose and Multi-agent ICT System are provided in the paper. This ICT system application support management of the farm and provide documentation for entire dairy supply chain members.

Operations in logistics and supply chain are becoming the part of today’s most important economic activities. Logistics activities, however, impose huge negative impact on nature environment, and become the significant sources of air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, which raised concerns on reducing the amount of emissions worldwide. The motivation and goal of this paper is to study a “green” logistics and supply chain configuration design problem and further integrate with the decision on environmental investment. The research methodology of this paper is involved with problem definition, mathematical modeling, and optimization. The paper uses a generic facility location model to design the green logistics network, which focuses on not only minimizing the cost of logistics system, but also minimizing the emission of CO2. The paper further discusses differences between “green” and traditional logistics settings, and finds the optimal solution of logistics configuration in the context of the green supply chain.

With the development of Coal Chemical Industry in Ordos, the task of its transportation has instantly increased. Due to limited railway transportation capacities, transportation problem becomes the bottleneck of coal chemical industry in this place. The article attempts to help the coal chemical enterprises to choose an optimal storage and transport mode. In the paper, we first present two operation modes in logistics, centralized and decentralized operation modes separately, then compare quantitatively the two modes from coal chemical enterprises point of view, results show that centralized mode is better than the decentralized mode for coal chemical enterprises in cost. 1. BACKGROUND The coal resources in Ordos, which are located in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region accounts for about one-sixth of the total reserves in our country. In recent years, Ordos has focused on development of coal chemical industry since it began to bring greater profit along the related Industry chain than just selling coal resources. It can be estimated that with the rapid development of coal chemical industry, the transportation tasks have been increased. However the transportation capacity is limited. Therefore the transportation becomes the bottleneck for the development of coal chemical industry. This paper provides a new storage and transportation mode for enterprises to ease parts of transportation pressure. The situation we considered is a number of enterprises located in a coal chemical industry park. The enterprises face two options, one is decentralized operation mode: each firm builds special railway line, stores and transports their products separately, which is the status quo; the other mode is centralized storage and transportation by a professional third party logistics enterprise located in the coal chemical industry park. This mode is called as centralized mode (Beijing Jiaotong University subject group 2009). The paper tries to compare the advantages and disadvantages of these two modes, especially use quantitative analysis method, to help enterprises select an optional model from the cost perspective.

This paper analyzes the design for dangerous goods transport network considering the government and transport operators double-constraint condition. On this basis, both government and transport operators are interested in different objectives. The paper establishes a bi-level programming model, and according to the relevant literature it modifies the use of heuristic algorithm to solve the last example.

Large losses during the distribution of agricultural products results in high cost. This paper applies Flexsim system simulation software in the optimized design of distribution center system, in order to reduce the agricultural logistic cost. Factors were considered and developed within the model to prove the systems success. Impact of the system on the micro and macro levels of economy was studied and presented in the paper. A detail analysis proved that optimization could be achieved by using the Flexi system in simulation for designing a more efficient distribution center.

The paper performs research to select the optimal supplier of construction supply chain. Firstly, this paper introduces the concept of the construction and Gray system theory. Secondly, it establishes the selection Model on supplier of the chain by the Gray correlation to select the optimal supplier, when evaluating supplier by the model. In addition, the paper uses the Entroy method to determine the weight of evaluation index to avoid the subjective interference of evaluators. Thirdly, the paper calculates the correlation between supplier vector and the best reference vector G/the worst reference vector B and the optimal subordinate degree. Finally, the empirical analysis proves that the evaluation method has practical effect as well as the theoretical significance.

The paper emphasizes that posted speed limit does not directly have impact on accidents. On the contrary, it influences traffic safety through operating speed. Therefore, it's essential to explore the relationship between them. In this paper, the conditions of the same posted speed limit were analyzed. In addition, some comparisons between 1st-class highways and 2nd-class highways about operating speed were made. It can be found that posted speed limit significantly impact on operating speed. The operating speed is usually larger than the posted speed limit. With the change of the posted speed limit, the operating speed reduces or increases accordingly.

Traffic transferring from traditional industry to modern service industry is inevitable with the social development. In order to reflect the quality of trunk road service in the course of transformation from transportation to the modern service industry, the paper discusses the definition and connotation of trunk road service and selects sixteen indexes from three aspects of service condition, service environment and service activity on the base of expert experience and related specifications, and sets up evaluating index system about trunk road service with the principle of feasibility, scientific, practicality, comparability and combine quality with quantity. Secondly, the paper sets up comprehensive evaluating model about trunk road service using the Matter-element theory, extension set theory and correlation function which are combined with PCA and makes the evaluation more subtle. Lastly, the example of the model about G312 from Lan-tian to Xian shows that the model can make the trunk road service evaluated very accurately, reflects comprehensive level of the road service completely and is of good maneuverability, feasibility and practicability.

Double-row piles and door-type piles are the reinforcing structures that have different mechanical characteristics and are commonly used in practical engineering to prevent large-scale landslides. This paper analyzes and compares the mechanical characteristics of double-row piles and door-type piles with medium and small row spacing for the common large-scale landslide using finite element analysis. This helps to provide a theoretical basis for the selection of reinforcing measures in engineering practice. According to the results, it is found that door-type piles have lower cost in practical projects. Furthermore, internal structural forces of door-type piles with net separations of 6a, 4a and 2a are compared and then the most preferable small row spacing for door-type piles is deduced. This paper also suggests the ideal net distance between rows for door-type piles.

With the deterioration of the environment and climate, increasing number of people is starting to pay attention to low-carbon. The article stresses that with the emergence of low-carbon concept has put forward new requirements for the logistics mode of furniture industry to minimize the impact on environment and also keep the delivery service fast and efficient. This paper analyzes the logistics mode used by IKEA and its characteristics based on the existing logistics modes commonly used in furniture industry and taking IKEA as an example. The paper then presents a method for the calculation of vehicles’ carbon emissions during the distribution. Finally, combining the characteristics of the furniture industry, the paper summarizes some suggestions on how to achieve a low carbon logistics of the furniture industry.

The major characteristic of low temperature logistics is that the quality of perishable goods should be ensured. The paper emphasizes that the running state of air-conditioned compressor is the security of the low temperature logistics system. In this paper, a state monitoring system of compressor based on CAN bus and DSP 2812 is presented. The CAN bus integrates specialty of flexible and simple structure of high reliability, good adaptability. In this system, the 2812 DSP which has the modules of ADC and CAN controller is used for acquiring data from target system and communicating with the host computer. In addition, it can achieve the analysis, save of data and the running state show of compressor. Finally, it is observed that CAN controller has stronger flexibility and practical use.

Pallets have great effects in logistics, which have already been approved by industry and academic circles. However, many problems like poor quality, specification confusion, low utilization ratio and difficulty in recycling exists in pallet application in China. The pallet pool system is an effective approach to resolve the above-mentioned problems, which is beneficial to promote logistics standardization, boost modern logistics, bring about enormous and long-term economic interests, save the society economy resources and protect ecological environment. Otherwise, the pallet pool system can’t be separated from the support of information system. And, on the other hand, the RFID technology has made great progress by leaps and bounds which will provide an effective hand to build up the pallet pool information system. In this paper, the authors firstly argue the concept and application pattern of the PPS; secondly, they discuss how RFID is applied to pallet pool system; finally, the paper mainly analyzes the architecture, functions and business processes of the pallet pool information system.

In the transportation process, there are usually many kinds of transport modes intersecting in more than one mode, namely intermodal transportation. The paper is based on an 0–1 mixed integer program that seeks to maximize profit of the supply chain related to sale price, product manufacturing cost and the transportation cost subject to response time and flow rate of equilibrium containers. Lingo9.0 software calculation method program is used for solution. Finally, the paper gives an application example.

In this paper, to reveal the statistical characteristic and regularity of vehicle front wheel sideslip, with the professional side slip test-bed the front wheel sideslip values of 83 vehicles were measured. The paper further employed parameter estimation and hypothesis testing methods to confirm that the front wheel sideslip values of measured vehicles obeyed the normal distribution N (1.2306, 5.2480). The mathematical model which could describe the sideslip distribution was established. The article also examined calculations which showed that the result acquired by models was accurate and reliable; with the model calculating error 4.0759% only. Finally, this research would play a significant role in understanding the front wheel sideslip statistical characteristic and regularity of transport vehicles. In addition, it is also useful to judge vehicle traveling safety, fuel consumption and tire wear of front wheel.

Container-type pipeline transportation is used in carrying the first aid supplies, and urgently needed materials like first aid for war, which usually is not timely and suffer from low speed, low efficiency due to the nature of the structure of the driving equipment. In this paper, the defects of the container-type pipeline transportation were analyzed; and an ideal for linear motor used in container-type pipeline transportation instead of the air pressure model which was used earlier was put forward. The application and future development of this new method is studied in detail in this paper.

It is crucial that research be conducted on optimal method of cargo flows distribution in port Logistics Park. It is very complicated to distribute cargo flows systematically in port Logistics Park when the transportation of resources and destinations are all random variables. This paper sets up a mathematical model of cargo flows distribution in port Logistics Park through analysis of the transport system inside the logistics park, which is based on the open storage network theory, in order to solve the chaotic cargo flows distribution problems. Then this paper designs the genetic algorithm with random simulation to solve the model above and get the optimal solution. The authors can get the optimal transport method of cargo flows distribution inside the logistics park in order to break the bottlenecks of cargo flows distribution in port Logistics Park. This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the method through the analysis result of an example and put forward some prospects.

Transportation networks are vital for post-earthquake recovery activities, such as sending rescuers and emergency material delivery. Identification of critical locations of post-earthquake networks is a key task for maintaining the basic function of degraded transportation networks. On the other hand, the vulnerability analysis is an important tool to diagnose key points of transportation networks. In this paper a methodology for identification of critical locations of post-earthquake transportation networks is proposed. First, the new vulnerability indexes are defined as location failure that is susceptible to the transportation system. Then this paper quantifies the consequences of failure of several links which is the basis of detour cost and level-of-service indexes post-earthquake. Finally, a procedure for identifying critical locations of degraded transportation networks based on vulnerability analysis is provided. The results of a numerical example are presented to show the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed methodology.

Edge detection is an alternative method in the process for identifying and classifying pavement cracks for automated pavement management systems. This paper presents a new approach in automation for crack detection on pavement surface images using wavelet technology. Firstly, a separable two dimensional (2D) continuous wavelet transform for several scales is performed. Secondly, wavelet coefficients maximal values are searched through scales. Thirdly, in order to analyze wavelet coefficients maximal values in a window, cracks edges are detected and background noise is deleted. In addition, the paper invents an evolution of edge detection arithmetic to obtain better detection effect. Finally, a simple threshold is employed to indicate the presence of cracks on the pavement surface image. The results of experiments on images demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of this method for edge detection of pavement surface distresses.

In recent years, rail transit developed rapidly, as the main transport. High-speed train is a wide concern. In actual operation, with the train's service time increasing, dynamic performance of key components in train has also changed and some deterioration of dynamic performance threatens the security operation of high-speed train. Tracking test is a monitoring test which aims at performance, reliability, and security when the train is in service. Through the tracking test, the authors can get the variation tendency of relational parameter, to avoid accidents. This paper expatiate the necessity, test contents and commands for design tracking test system. Paper concretely introduces the situation of tracking test for high-speed trains, using data of tracking test to analyze the influence to dynamic performance from tread wear. By tracking test will be enhanced the safety of train operation.

The forecast of logistics demand is the basis of decision-making to set down logistics programming and build logistics base. In this paper, a Grey Markov Model for forecasting logistics demand is presented by means of combining Grey system theory with dispersed Markov Chains theory. Firstly, according to the variable sequence, a GM model is setup to forecast the general development trend of variable as first fitting values. Secondly, the fitting values are revised by means of Markov state change probability matrix for forecast as the second fitting values. The model overcomes the influence of random fluctuation data on forecasting precision and widens the application scope of the grey forecasting. In this paper, empirical studies of logistics demand forecast were performed. Results show that the Grey Markov Model has higher accuracy than that of GM model. Logistics demand forecast is one of the core areas of the logistics system planning. It is the foundation basis to determine the size of logistics systems and management models. Logistics system is a complex socio-economic system and it is affected synthetically by social, economic, physical and other factors. Thus, logistics system has larger random, fuzzy and gray features. These features make the forecasting difficult. Gray prediction and Markov chain prediction can both be used for sequence prediction. However, the geometric curve of gray prediction has monotonically increasing or decreasing trends, so it is difficult to reflect greater volatility in the original sequence and it will only reflect the overall trend. Markov prediction object is randomly changing dynamic system. Its projections are based on transition probability between states to speculate the future development of the system. Transition probabilities reflect the degree of influence of various random factors. So, Markov chain is suitable for volatile random sequence prediction problem. This just can make up for the limitations of gray prediction. Therefore, these two methods have highly complementary features. However, if they are used in combination, higher prediction accuracy may be obtained. But the Markov process requires no after-effect of the state. If we adopt the GM (1, 1) model to fit time-series data of prediction, then by identifying the trends in their residuals we can not only make up for the limitations of Markov prediction but also compensate for deficiencies in the gray model. According to the features of logistics system planning encountered in the actual situation, a gray Markov chain model was put forward to predict the demand of logistics distribution.

The train working diagram is the base of railway transportation organization. The research on compilation theories on it is favorable for improving the level of passenger transportation, organization and services. The greater the improvement the more useful it is to increase the benefits for railway transport enterprises. In this paper, the differences between the existing train working diagram and passenger special line rain working diagram are analyzed. The problem of passenger trains departure time distribution is a relatively independent phase in the process of compiling train working diagram, and in the paper, two mathematical models are established for solving trains departure time and distribution problem. The first mathematical model is based on maximizing passenger convenience which is established satisfactorily, by Hungary algorithm which was proposed to solve the problem, for greater feasible solutions. The second mathematical model is based on optimizing, and electric multiple unit (EMU) is selected for better solutions from feasible solutions. The standard transportation network is constructed for solving the second model. The method is proved by an example and is feasible and effective.

A ring-plate planetary pin-cycloid reducer is a new drive which is designed after analyzing the advantages and shortcomings of involutes gear ring-plate reducer and pin-cycloid planetary reducer. The paper stresses that the ring-plate pin-cycloid planetary reducer provides many advantages, including small volume, light weight, wide range of transmission ratio and high load capacity. In the paper, the vibration characteristics of the main component parts of the reducer are derived after the tests of the reducer at different rotational speeds and different loads. The natural frequencies of the key parts are derived through finite element method. The main parts which radiate noise reducer are identified. The experimental results are worthwhile.

The logistics system has developed into a new stage with the application of the technology of Modular Design and Innovative Design. This paper analyzed the needs, objectives and technical characteristics of Modular Design in logistics system. Then it introduced the Creative Templates method in the design system of the logistics, and made the corresponding design flow for innovation in logistics system. This paper also discussed the key technology of applying the creative design and the modular design to the logistics system, and built a design method which combined the Creative Templates and relationship matrix based on modular. The operation of the method was illustrated in this paper.

Due to the rising vehicle routine problem (VRP), from the transportation system’s design and optimization the paper aims at searching for a vehicle route which costs minimum resources to meet the customers’ demands in the network. Up to now, researchers have found heuristic algorithm, genetic algorithm, and analytic hierarchy process and so on, to solve the VRP. Assuming the network in which customers’ location and the distribution center’s location have already been fixed, with constraint on the capacity of the vehicles, this paper will settle a weighted graph model, and provide a solution to optimize this operational network, by using the sweeping algorithm. Meanwhile, it also lists a few feasible approaches to further optimize the solution.

This paper analyzes the queuing process at the export intersection bus stop based on queuing theory. In addition, it builds up a bus stop queuing model. The paper finds the average queuing length and the utilization of Berths with the help of evaluation index of average waiting time for buses. Finally, this paper demonstrates the relationship between the bus flow rate and the number of berth according to the result of the bus stop queuing system simulated by AutoMod software.

The paper emphasizes that in order to make scientific planning and rational decisions of freight, decision makers and planners need to understand the spatial distribution of freight turnover on the road network. Freight turnover could be acquired by means of the statistics analysis of ton-kilometers from vehicles and road network. In the paper, the vehicle freight turnover and its structure were computed on the basis of reconstructed transportation statistics indexes and structure of samples, the vehicle freight turnover and its structure. In addition, the statistics of road network freight turnover were based on the traffic volume database of toll road and observation data of non-toll road. Thus, when combined with 24 hour's field survey, freight turnover on different level of roads could be estimated. Linking vehicle freight turnover to road network freight turnover, the total freight turnover can be broken down into different parts and can be assigned to different level of road network. Also, understanding the spatial distribution of total freight turnover is useful to the planning and decision of road network. Finally, this method was proved feasibly in Jiangsu province.

With the development of economy and the improvement of living standards, the vehicles in public places are increasing. In today's world, the traditional technology of parking management can not satisfy the needs. This paper aims to improve the efficiency of vehicles management and guarantee the safety of vehicles. The research paper presents an intelligent vehicle management expert system with radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. The system provides practically important user data collection, guidance information, control information and can trace criminal or illegal vehicles such as stolen cars or vehicles that evade tickets, tolls or vehicle taxes. The system architecture consists of an RFID reader, a passive tag, a terminal computer, a pair of magnetic induction coils and a high-speed server with a database system. The system collects user information and allocates parking spaces on a community of a district area in a city based on RFID technology. Moreover, it can identify cars that do not have a tag and then provide a temporary card through Automatic Vending Machine.

The article proposes that traffic-induced emissions pose a serious threat to air quality in many metropolises. The paper stresses that the urban transport planning must be conducted under the constraint of environment. As the traffic flow on the urban roads usually is the mixed traffic flow, there is a need to analyze the mixed traffic volume to implement unified standard of the vehicles. That is, the different kinds of vehicle can be converted to the Passenger Car Equivalents (PCE). Many researches put forward the PCE based on the road traffic capacity. In this paper, the conception of vehicle equivalent conversion coefficients based on the emission is presented. The PCE based on the emission is calculated according to the emission concentration variation when some kind of vehicle is added into the traffic flow. Finally, the PCE based on the emission is recommended taking the field measurement data from Yangpu District of Shanghai as the case.

In the paper, two-phase flow is introduced based on incompressible, vicious fluid governing equations and Piecewise Linear Volume Tracking Methods. The basic objective is to investigate coupled cable-deck vibration under wave effect of long span cable-stayed bridges. In the article, the contact surfaces between waves and structures are treated with Virtual Boundary Force Method and Two-step Boundary Pinpoint Method. Then three dimensional model of interaction between waves and structures is set up and wave force is calculated. In addition, the paper develops the bridge model based on finite element method and the responses of main beam and towers under wave influence are studied. Finally, the results suggest that the side spans are much influenced by waves. It is noted that its acceleration and bending moment are much bigger than main span due to additional piers. Also, when the authors consider local vibration of cables effect, the lateral acceleration and lateral bending moment responses under wave are decreased.

In this paper, the evaluation of conventional corporate business and staff performance is assessed separately, whose shortcomings lie in increasing the evaluation cost and dissevering the internal relations of both. If we integrate the business performance and staff performance evaluation and form the evaluation integration system, it can reduce data redundancy, streamline the evaluation personnel and reduce the evaluation costs. The establishment of integrated evaluation system requires establishing the following three steps: building business performance evaluation framework and indexes, mapping the business performance indexes with relevant personnel and evaluating the performance of staff related. Finally, the paper illustrates the example of describing the establishment procedure. Thus, the paper sets up the integrated evaluation information system and simplifies the evaluation work. Performance evaluation plays a significant role in enterprises. Harrington believed that if you cannot evaluate it, it would be unable to control it; if you cannot control it, it would be able to manage it and if you cannot manage it, it will not make it. This shows that the close relations among performance evaluation and management. Performance evaluation has become an important agenda for enterprise management for the reason that effective management depends on effective evaluation. Through performance evaluation, organizations can determine where and how to effectively take steps to improve performance.

This paper built the performance evaluation indicators of the disaster rescue logistics system by fuzzy analytical hierarchy based on analysis of the emergency purchasing decisions, storage decisions, transportation decisions and information support of the disaster rescue logistics systematically, from the view of systematic sciences, and the combined features of the disaster rescue logistics. Then this paper analyzes and evaluates the running process, result and efficiency of the disaster rescue logistics system comprehensively which further helps in improving and optimizing the work of disaster rescue logistics which corresponds to a more scientific decision making. To evaluate the performance of the disaster rescue, a logistics system is used to analyze and evaluate the running process, and results of efficiency of the disaster rescue logistics system operated after the end of the natural disaster rescue work is collected so as to improve and optimize the work of disaster rescue logistics which corresponds to a more scientific decision making. This heightens efficiency, minimizes personnel and property losses. And this further helps in ensuring the smooth and efficient work of disaster rescue logistics. 1. THE PRINCIPLES OF BUILDING THE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION INDICATORS OF THE DISASTER RESCUE LOGISTICS SYSTEM Designing the evaluation indicators is basic and crucial to the role playing of the performance evaluation indicators of the disaster rescue logistics system (Ozdamar 2004). ⑴ Principle of Scientific study The performance evaluation indicators of the disaster rescue logistics system must be able to give a clear objective and evaluation about the work of the natural disaster rescue logistics. Thus, the designed indicators have to be capable of mirroring each of the several principal, aspects and the mutual relationship of the rescue work, as well as quantifying the efficiency and effect of the rescue logistics work well.

The paper establishes the emergency food logistics information system based on Internet of things (IoT) and explores its feature of timely and accurate collection and sharing for food information to set up distribution models and develop distribution strategies. Different from traditional methods, this paper establishes delivery path models from the perspective of food transportation environment, adjusts delivery strategies based on dynamic demand of stricken areas, which can not only improve efficiency of emergency food distribution, but also provide new ideas for addressing problems about food safety and preservation, timely provision and continuity of demand that exist in the logistics.

Dynamic responses of bridge and vehicle become major concern for engineers in designing high speed railway bridges. This paper illustrates the numerical analysis method for solving the coupled interaction of bridge-vehicle with an example of high speed railway and passenger vehicle. Equations of motion of vehicle and bridge are given in detail. Finally the dynamic responses of the example are obtained for evaluating the method.

In this paper two artificial neural network models were explored to predict future cargo volume of Dalian seaport. Factors affecting cargo volume were carefully identified, categorized as input and output variables and then entered into the forecast models that generated a projection of the cargo volume. First the author used time series methods predicting the future results of the input variables. Then the author utilized a radial base function neural network as the basic model. Finally, the author combined this radial base neural network and a linear function to be a generalized regression neural network, which generated the results of the cargo volume. The results indicate that the Dalian seaport cargo volume will increase in the near future and local economics that depends heavily on sea transportation will improve rapidly.

The lot-sizing problem arising from steel production process is cold rolling which consists of one main facility and several downstream facilities has been considered in this paper. In the production process, storages have capability as well as limitations and facilities must be run continuously. A mathematical model is built, and a rule-based heuristics algorithm is developed to solve the problem. The efficiency of the algorithm is proved by simulated data from a real continuous production process.

In the network of collection and distribution for the port, the authors select proper inland container depot and determine the amount of container cargoes accomplished by different modes on each arc. This paper proposes a model to minimize transportation costs between cargo origin and the destination, subject to the maximum cargo volume handled at seaport and the vehicle's capacity of each transportation mode. The model is solved by lingo 8.0, and the output is cargo volume on each route within a planning period. Then the data the authors get is used to guide the container carriers and optimize the transportation.
