Abstract

The article presents a session about what humanist chaplaincy means in the current particular moment within higher education, from the 81st Annual Conference of the American Humanist Association held in July 2022. It highlights the chaplain as an extension of a particular denomination or particular religious community. It explains how humanism and its institutions can interface with discourses and practices around interreligious literacy and engagement.
