Abstract
Hudson Valley, New York travelers will now be able to fly directly to the Washington D.C., area when Independence Air begins its low-cost service to Washington-Dulles International Airport begin- fling September 1, 2003. The airline will offer six daily non- stop roundtrip flights with one-way tickets costing between $49 and $109. The airline's president, Kerry Skeen, officially made the announcement May 19, 2004 in an auditorium with thousands of the airline's employees cheering. "Today Independence Air is officially open for business;" he proclaimed. Tickets are on sale now for the Stewart flights.
