Abstract

The article focuses on a controversy related to the article "Efficacy of gabapentin in migraine prophylaxis" by N.T. Mathew and colleagues in a previous issue. Mathew and colleagues do not desire to retract the above article and deny any misrepresentation on their part. The data analysis for the article consisted of an intention-to-treat analysis performed on a research group from which some patients had been deleted instead of the pre-specified primary outcome measure.
