This article discusses the impact of haemophilia symptoms on sexual functioning and health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in men with haemophilia. The study found that pain, the risk of bleeding, and loss of joint movement can restrict sexual activity in men with haemophilia. These restrictions in sexual functioning were associated with lower scores on HRQOL domains such as physical functioning and satisfaction with participation in social roles. The study also highlighted the lack of discussions about sexual functioning between men with haemophilia and healthcare professionals during outpatient visits. The authors emphasize the importance of addressing sexual functioning in clinical care and providing appropriate interventions for men with haemophilia. [Extracted from the article]
