The Chinese calligraphy is a unique art of traditional Chinese culture. The core of color preference for Chinese calligraphy is figural preference, which is a special kind of color combination preference. Currently, the exhibition of calligraphy is always lack of scientific basis in the aspect of color science. In this research, the influence of light sources and paper color on the preference of traditional calligraphy was analyzed based on subjective and objective experiments. The relative spectral power distribution of 5 typical light sources (correlated color temperature: 2 500, 3 500, 4 500, 5 500 and 6 500 K) and spectral reflectance of 5 typical Chinese rice papers (white, orange, light white, red, yellow-white) were firstly measured and then transformed into CIEXYZ and CIECAM02 color space, respectively. Subsequently, the correlation between those colors attributes and 1 000 series of psychophysical experiment data from 40 observers on calligraphy exhibiting preference was analyzed. At last, the influence factors of the correlation were discussed form a multiple statistical point of view, such as normal distribution, correlation analysis and multiple regression. The experimental results indicated that the exhibiting preference of Chinese calligraphy is obviously different with that of ordinary color preference cases, for it is mainly affected by the attributes of lighting sources instead of the contrast of hue and lightness. The authors believe that the finding of the research will provided effective support for the development of calligraphy exhibiting in near future for museums and gallaries.

In this paper, a novel paper-based Surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) substrate with high sensitivity, good uniformity and popular price is developed via liquid/liquid interface self-assembly technique. Three pigment, rhodamine B, sunset yellow and chrysoidine were detected through paper-based SERS substrates using a portable Raman spectrometer. The structures of the three pigments were investigated and vibrational modes of characteristic peaks of three pigments were assigned. SERS spectra of rhodamine B, sunset yellow and chrysoidine in aqueous solution with different concentrations were detected respectively. Rhodamine B, sunset yellow and chrysoidine in drinks were also detected in drinks without any pretreatment. Within a certain range of concentrations, it meets certain function. For rhodamine B and sunset yellow, the relationship between concentration and Raman peak intensity is on an index curve, while for chrysoidine, the relationship is linear. In addition, high recoveries are achieved for detecting rhodamine B, sunset yellow and chrysoidine in drinks, which indicated our method is suited for semi-quantitative analysis for the concentration of rhodamine B, sunset yellow and chrysoidine in drinks. Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy provides an easy approach to fast and efficient detection for multiple pigments in drinks and can be used for quality control and market monitoring of drinks.

A new method of fast identification of copy papers by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was developed. The kinds of filler and the cellulosic degree of crystallinity were analyzed by FTIR, and the ageing curves of cellulosic paper were studied with heating and ultraviolet light. The cellulosic degree of crystallinity was showed by the ratio of absorbance at 1 429 cm(-1) to that at 893 cm(-1), the standard deviation of different brands of copy papers was 0.010 7-0.016 0, and the standard deviation of the same brands of copy papers was 0.014 8. The kinds of filler and the cellulosic degree of crystallinity were different in copy papers from different brands of different manufacturing plants, different brands of same manufacturing plants and different manufacturing times of the same brands from the same manufacturing plants, and the curves of ageing were different with heating and ultraviolet light. The results of fast identification of copy papers by FTIR are satisfactory.

Contents of pollutant elements lead and cadmium in toilet paper were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry. Both lead and cadmium has good linear relationship that lead is over the range of 0.00-10.00 micrograms.mL-1 (r = 0.9989) and cadmium is over the range of 0.00-4.00 micrograms.mL-1 (r = 0.9997). In this method, RSD is bellow 3.08% and recovery is over the range of 94.8%-104.5%. The method is simple and accurate. It can be used as monitor method of lead and cadmium in toilet paper.

As one of the most important decorative materials for the modern household products, decorative papers impregnated with melamine not only have better decorative performance, but also could greatly improve the surface properties of materials. However, the appearance quality (such as color-difference evaluation and control) of decorative papers, as an important index for the surface quality of decorative paper, has been a puzzle for manufacturers and consumers. Nowadays, human eye is used to discriminate whether there exist color difference in the factory, which is not only of low efficiency but also prone to bring subjective error. Thus, it is of great significance to find an effective method in order to realize the fast recognition and classification of the decorative papers. In the present study, the visible spectroscopy coupled with principal component analysis (PCA) was used for the pattern recognition of decorative papers with different visual characteristics to investigate the feasibility of visible spectroscopy to rapidly recognize the types of decorative papers. The results showed that the correlation between visible spectroscopy and visual characteristics (L*, a* and b*) was significant, and the correlation coefficients wereup to 0.85 and some was even more than 0. 99, which might suggest that the visible spectroscopy reflected some information about visual characteristics on the surface of decorative papers. When using the visible spectroscopy coupled with PCA to recognize the types of decorative papers, the accuracy reached 94%-100%, which might suggest that the visible spectroscopy was a very potential new method for the rapid, objective and accurate recognition of decorative papers with different visual characteristics.

This paper quantitatively determined the migration level of benzo(a)pyrene (BaP) from paper cups into aqueous food simulants or fatty stimulants, under different conditions by second derivative constant-energy synchronous fluorescence spectrometry (DCESFS), which proved to be a method with high sensitivity and spectral resolution. The influences of food simulants, time and temperature on the relative migration percent(%) of benzo(a) pyrene were discussed. Results showed that the recoveries of this method ranged from 89.2% to 104.3%. The migration percent(%) of fatty stimulants was higher than that of aqueous simulants. Migration into hot water was also observed, while the migration into cool water was almost negligible. The relative migration percent(%) increased with the increase of time and temperature.

As one of the most powerful tools to investigate the compositions of raw materials and the property of pulp and paper, infrared spectroscopy has played an important role in pulp and paper industry. However, the traditional transmission infrared spectroscopy has not met the requirements of the producing processes because of its disadvantages of time consuming and sample destruction. New technique would be needed to be found. Fourier transform attenuated total reflection infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR) is an advanced spectroscopic tool for nondestructive evaluation and could rapidly, accurately estimate the production properties of each process in pulp and paper industry. The present review describes the application of ATR-FTIR in analysis of pulp and paper industry. The analysis processes will include: pulping, papermaking, environmental protecting, special processing and paper identifying.

Metal elements, especially the heavy metal element, need to be considered for resource utilization of paper sludge. Seventeen kinds of metal elements were determined by ICP-AES method, which were form two kinds of paper sludge from Anhui Shanying paper mill, one kind of paper sludge from Fujian Qingshan paper mill, and one kind of paper sludge from Fujian Zhongzhu paper mill. The results show that there are different amounts of metal elements in the 4 kinds of paper sludge including poisonous metal elements, such as Cr, etc, metal element which is poisonous when excessive, such as Fe, etc, and P and K which are beneficial for plant growth Al and Ca contents are maximal. The recovery ratio for Fujian Zhongzhu paper mill obtained by standard addition method is 94.4%-107.3%. Heavy metal elements content lower than the national standard GB/4284-84 "Control standards for pollutions in sludge form agricultural use". The order of heavy metal elements content is paper sludge from Fujian Zhongzhu paper millpaper sludge from Fujian Qingshan paper millpaper sludge from Anhui Shanying paper mill. The results provide theoretical directions for resource utilization of paper sludge, especially for agricultural utilization and land utilization

By using algorithm of SIMCA and partial least squares(PLS) combined with Fourier transform near infrared spectra (FT-NIR), the classification methods were established for the discrimination of cigarette paper. Meanwhile, the calibration models were established for the determination of the grammage, thickness, permeability, moisture and ash of cigarette paper. Correlation coefficients of the models were 0.9768, 0.9664, 0.9470, 0.956 3 and 0.9759, and the root mean square errors of cross validation (RMSECV) were 0.5614, 0.0960, 1.2741, 0.0967 and 0.2603 respectively. The methods has been applied to the determination and discrimination of unknown samples with satisfactory results.

The determination of Cu, Pb, Sn, Fe and Zn in the ancient chinese bronzes has been performed using X-ray fluorescence filter paper method. The result is satisfactory. The samples are dissolved in the HCl-H2O2 system, ard then the solution is dropped on the filter paper. It is convenient for detection by XRF. In addition this method is efficient to reduce the matrix effect of sample. The correlative coefficients of calibration curves between element concentration and X-ray intensity are over 0.99. The rate of recovery is 97-104%, and the relative standard deviation for each element is less than 2.00%. The copper's result measured by this method agrees well with that of chemical method. This method is simple, rapid and accurate. It is also applied to determine the elements in the other ancient objects.

Paper-substrate delay fluorimetry (PS-DF) for three quinolones, i.e. Pefloxacin, Norfloxacin and Pepemidic acid, were given. Various factors affecting the PS-DF intensity of quinolones, including pH condition, drying time of sample etc., were studied in detail. The experiments showed that the PS-DF intensities of three quinolones in acidic solution were stronger than those in other conditions. The proper pH was 1.6. These quinolones have wide dynamic ranges, low limit of detection and relatively small standard deviations. The method was fast with, a small amount of sample and low cost. The recovery was 98.5%-104%. The determination results of the samples were satisfactory.

Cultural fibrous material includes both important categories, i. e. textile and paper, consisting of precious cultural materials in museum, such as costume, painting, and manuscript. In recent years more and more connoisseur and conservator's concerns are, through nondestructive method, the authenticity and the ageing identification of these cultural relics especially made from fragile materials. In this research, we used attenuated total reflection infrared spectroscopy to identify five traditional textile fibers, alongside cotton, linen, wool, mulberry silk and tussah silk, and another five paper fibers alongside straw, wheat straw, long qisong, Chinese alpine rush and mulberry bar, which are commonly used for making Chinese traditional xuan paper. The research result showed that the animal fiber (wool, mulberry silk and tussah silk) and plant fiber (cotton and linen) were easier to be distinguished by comparing the peaks at 3 280 cm-1 belonging to NH stretching vibration and a serious peaks related to amide I to amide III. In the spectrum of wool, the peak at 1 076 cm-1 was assigned to the S-O stretching vibration absorption of cystine in wool structure and can be used to tell wool from silk. The spectrum of mulberry silk and tussah silk seems somewhat difficult to be identified, as well as the spectrum of cotton and linen. Five rural paper fibers all have obvious characteristic peaks at 3 330, 2 900 cm-1 which are related to OH and CH stretching vibration. In the fingerprint wavenumber range of 1 600 - 800 cm, the similar peaks also appeared at 1 370, 1 320 cm-1 and 1 162, 1 050 cm-1, both group peaks respectively are related to CH and CO vibration in the structure of cellulose and hemicellulose in paper fibers. Although there is more similarity of the infrared spectroscopy of these 5 paper fibers, some tiny difference in absorbance also can be found at 3 300 cm-1 and in the fingerprint range at 1 332, 1 203, and 1 050 cm-1 which are related to C-O-C vibration in cellulose. Moreover, in order to explore direct and simple method to identify different materials with similar spectrum,. the principal component analysis (PCA) was applied to separate cotton and linen, mulberry silk and tussah silk, as well as five paper fibers. To eliminate and reduce the spectral scattering caused by sample uneven surface roughness, the multiplicative scatter correction (MSC) has been applied based on total spectral data. The result showed that the score plot using the first two principal components can effectively categorize both group textiles of cotton and linen, as well as mulberry silk and tussah silk, and they have similar chemical structure. For five paper fibers, the PCA was applied in different spectral range (918-550, 1 280-918, 1 700-1 280 and 3 800-2 800 cm-1), and the best result appeared in the range from 3 800 to 2 800 cm-1, in which the five paper fibers can be well categorized. This research showed that infrared spectroscopy combined with principal component analysis has great potential advantage on identifying fibrous materials with similar structure.

Pyrolysis is an efficient and recycling way to utilize waste wood-based panels, in which urea-formaldehyde resin (UF) is the main difference between wood-based board and other kinds of biomass. The present paper studied the three main components (cellulose, hemicelluloses, lignin) of poplar wood, in order to effectively and environmentally utilize or dispose of waste wood-based panels with pyrolysis technique, to study the influence of urea formaldehyde resin on pyrolytic characteristic of wood during the process of the pyrolysis of waste wood-based panels, and to in-depth explore the mechanism of the effect of UF on each component of wood. Innovatively, the weight-loss character and gas evolution rule of the model (made from cellulose, xylan and lignin, based on the chemical components stud of poplar wood), the main components as well as the ones mixed with UF were analyzed by TG-FTIR (thermogravimetric analyzer coupled to a Fourier transform infrared spectrometer). Results indicated that UF promoted the generation of water and carboxylic acid substances during the cellulose pyrolysis process. UF combined with lignin, formed some kind of unstable nitrogenous structure which produced a large amount of NH3, which took part in the low-temperature (200-300 degrees C) pyrolysis of lignin, and directly affected the production of pyrolysis products. It can be concluded that during the process of the pyrolysis of waste wood-based panels, lignin was the one that UF mainly impacted among the three main components of wood.

Pitch deposit is one of the most troublesome problems for the paper mills in South China that use the masson pine as a raw material to make paper. The triglyceride has been identified as the main composition accounting for pitch problem. in order to set down effective pitch control scheme, the triglyceride content in papermaking process must be measured quantitatively. A method to measure the content of triglyceride in masson wood pulp was developed based on UV spectrophotometer in the present work. The UV spectrogram and characteristic peak location of standard glycerol trioleate as well as the effect of measuring time on absorbency were discussed. The results showed that at 412 nm the relation between absorbency and consistency of glycerol trioleate was linear and the pertinent coefficient reached 0. 971 in the range of reagent dosage and consistency in this experiment. The absorbency decreased linearly with measuring time and the pertinent coefficient reached 0. 990 2. The results of reproductive experiment showed that the recoveries were 98%-104%0 and the accuracy was 1. 27%-4. 03% for the samples in consistency 1. 25-0. 50 g x L(-1). With this method, the content of triglyceride in hexane extractive of masson TMP and acid SP were measured respectively. The degradative effect of triglyceride before and after enzyme treatment for masson wood pulp was also evaluated. The results showed that the triglyceride content was relatively high, about 50% both in the total extractive of masson TMP and acid SP. After enzyme treatment, the content of triglyceride in masson TMP and acid SP was reduced by 46. 31% and 35. 55% respectively.

36 kinds of black roller pen inks collected from Chinese market were analyzed by NIR FT-Raman spectroscopic technique and they were divided into 10 groups (from A to J group) according to their characteristic Raman spectra. Based on studying main component of roller pen inks and peculiarity of Raman spectrum by documents, the main Raman peaks of each group of roller ball inks were interpreted particularly. It have also been investigated that the influence factors from paper matrix, humidity of the samples, laser power and writing time, especially the forth item showed some relationships of the peak intensity ratio with the relative age of inks. This method is speediness, convenience, high sensitivity and no ink-extraction process. The insufficiency of the method is that fluorescence and heat background comes forth when a few samples were irradiated by laser.

Six plant pigments separated by paper chromatography have been measured by photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS). Their PA spectra are compared with the corresponding absorption spectra, which indicate that PAS is a convenient and effective method for identifying plant pigment. The sorts of marine algae are numerous and pigments in marine algae have certain characteristics. The PA spectra of green, red and brown algae have been reported. Pigment characteristics in these algae are identified by their second derivative PA spectra.

In order to research the effect of X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis on the results in the sample’s micro particles, MCNPX models had been established for an X-ray fluorescence analyzer in this paper. It had studied the characteristics of the samples with different particle sizes, the fluorescence peak counts, the peak to total ratios and the peak to source ratios. A micro particle analysis experiment had been designed for its verification. The results showed that: as for the relationship between the fluorescence intensity and the particle sizes, the MCNPX calculations were consistent with the theoretical, but contrary with the experimental results; the reason is that some hypotheses about samples in the MCNPX models were contrary with the actual states; the samples were crushed by grinding to small particles and tableting process, the MCNPX calculations and experimental results can be conversion; when the particle sizes of the samples reached the certain sizes, the fluorescence peak counts, the peak to total ratios and the peak to source ratios were stable value; within a particular size range, the influence of the particle size effects cannot be ignored, otherwise this influence can be ignored. The research methods and conclusions in this paper can provide a technical reference guide for X-ray analysis in practices.

For the small frequency shift and large error of tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) velocity method based on Doppler Effect in measuring the gas velocity, velocity measurement method combined fixed wavelength absorption spectroscopy and cross correlation is proposed in this paper. Considering the characteristics of the hydrocarbon fuel combustion products, 7 158.597 cm(- 1) absorption line of H(2)O molecular was selected. Through arranging two beams of fixed wavelength absorption measurement point of upstream and downstream, the gas velocity can be calculated by analyzing the cross-correlation properties of the two signals. The flat flame burner experiment system was used in the experimental research of the velocity measurement. The change of gas velocity with time under variable working condition was obtained. Under the same condition, numerical calculation is carried out. And the measurement results are compared with the results of the numerical simulation with relative deviation less than 8%. Then the method is preliminarily applied to measure the high speed plume of the kerosene-fueled Rocket Based Combined Cycle (RBCC) engine, and the upstream and downstream fluctuant signals of detectors were obtained. The velocity of the plume was calculated with cross correlation analysis which verifies the feasibility of this method. The experimental results show that the gas velocity measurement method has a wide measuring range with high measuring accuracy and little environment interference. The method proposed in this paper provides a simple and reliable method for the measurement of engine gas velocity.

Supercontinuum laser refers to the spectral broadening of an incident laser beam due to a series of nonlinear effects when the incident beam passes through a special light guide. With the development of ultrafast lasers and the photonic crystal fiber technology, the coherent and bright supercontinuum laser, generated with ultrashort pulses propagating in photonic crystal fibers, has become a kind of ideal white light source. Since supercontinuum lasers have been put into practice, their application domain is getting wider, especially for cells and bloods analysis in the biomedical field with fluorescence spectroscopy, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, and optical coherence tomography as powerful analysis tools. Supercontinuum laser source has become one of the mail optical components in these scientific instruments that employ advanced technologies. In this paper, international research progress on supercontinuum laser sources was introduced in detail firstly, and then the development and application of supercontinuum laser spectroscopy technology in biomedical fields, such as microscopic imaging, flow cytometry instrument, fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy, fluorescence resonance energy transfer, optical coherence tomography, and confocal microscopy was comprehensively elaborated. The requirements, schemes and research progress of supercontinuum laser spectroscopy technologies in the noncontact identification for blood products were also discussed in the paper, including studies on light fiber supercontinuum laser sources with spectra range from 400 to 2000nm, distinguishing species characteristic of bloods with supercontinuum laser spectroscopy, analyzing and establishing mathematical models based on meta databases of big data bloods spectra, determining the bloods species based on these models, and developing portable instruments for bloods spectra identification. Finally, the prospect of applications of supercontinuum laser spectroscopy in the biomedical field is discussed.

In integrating lab-on-a-chip (LOC) technologies facilitated with a series of microfluidic units, microfluidic channels, with substrates put into metal nanoparticles, especially when gold, silver or copper nanoparticles, were prepared and pumped into μl or nl analytes. This sample preparation methods have important significance in real time, in-situ trace- or processing reaction analysis jointing with surface enhanced spectroscopies (SES).This combined technologies would integrate the mertis of the two technologies of lab-on-a-chip LOC and SES. LOC has the advantages of minuming the amount of analytes and stable test environments for step by step processing operations to achieve screening samples, segmentating, real-time detecting and so on, whiel SES has the characteristics of fast spectral response, high sensitivemess and selectivness,and in-situ detectoring. On the base of Drude medol and appropriate boundary conditions, external electric field induces localizing plasmon oscillation of valence electron of metal nano particles, then which derivates the mechannisms of resonant localized suface plasmon enhancement and electromagnetic enhancement mechanism of the surface enhanced Raman scattering by dipole polarization. In this paper, combined LOC and localized surface plasmon resonance technologies analysed in biological, pharmaceutical and food safety fileds with additional channels prompting detecting efficiencies and the limits of trace detections further being broken out. This paper also summarizes the application of chip laboratory technology in the fields of public safety testing, biomedical medicine detecting, electrochemical or biological sensors with surface enhanced Raman spectroscopieswhich were capable of high sensitivitiness and molecular spectral fingerprint. LOC technologies have gotten great develoment in their respective fileds, especially combinning with 3D fingerprint technologies, which could precisely control the sizes of 3D structures and high-accuracy manufacture 3D structures according to the special purpose. LSPR and SERS have been more maturing in some applications of near filed imaging and Tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopies (TERS), which have the ability to break through the optical limit of conventional microscopes and do that the width and depth of the SES technologies have been greatly extended in the micro and nano scales. So The jointed technologies would have a bright prospects in the practical applications for the qualitative and semi quantitative determination of trace analysis.

Avalanche photodiode is widely used in laser rangefinder due to high gain characteristics, but introduces highly additive noise during the time of current’s multiplication that makes laser rangefinder’s SNR meet bottleneck. This paper proposes a method of designing a high SNR’s graphene photodetector based on microcavity. The graphene’s unique optoelectronic properties make it an ideal platform for a variety of photonic applications, such as fast lasers, optical modulators, transparent electrodes, and ultrafast photodetectors. It has been recognized internationally to have dominant advantages in photodetectors due to its high carrier mobility, gapless spectrum, and frequency-independent absorption coefficient. With the wavelength of 1.06 μm, the mechanism of light waves’ transmission in the cavity and the graphehne’s absorption are studied by using optical transmission matrix method and scattering matrix method; the light absorption model of the graphene photodetector based on microcavity is established. Device’s final quantum efficiency reaches 91.2%, respectively reaches 0.778 A·W(-1), its full width at half maximum (FWHM) reaches 6 nm; the influence between graphene’s position in the microcavity and device’s absorption shows that device’s absorption’s peak value changes periodically with graphene’s position under resonant condition, and the variety of length of microcavity does not have any influence on the peak value, but changes the graphene’s position when absorption reaches peak value, on the condition that the length of microcavity is n times of half of wavelength, the number of device’s absorption peak value is 2n with the variety of graphene’s position, and all the peak values are symmetrical with respect to the center of microcavity, the final graphene’s position is 0.402 8 mm away from the top mirror of microcavity, and the absorption reaches 94%, Compared with single layer graphene, the absorption rate increases 16 dB; By solving SNR equation of the graphene photodetector based on microcavity and SNR equation of the avalanche photodiode, eventually finds that the SNR of the graphene photodetector based on microcavity is 90.3, which raises 10 dB compared with the avalanche photodiode’s. Theoretical analysis shows the graphene photodetector based on microcavity has high absorption rate, high quantum efficiency, and high SNR. In this paper, the research achievements provide a theoretical reference to update and design higher SNR photodetector used in laser rangefinder’s receiving system.

The energy received through remote sensing sensors contains the amount of reflected solar energy and emitted energy of objects in middle-wave infrared (MWIR, 3~5 μm). Usually, the reflected solar energy is weak in MWIR spectrum. In some certain situations like sun glint area in sea surface, however, the energy is relatively significant and less sensitive to atmospheric effects. Meanwhile, for the satellite sensor which equipped with onboard calibration system, its onboard radiation performance of MWIR(using blackbody calibration)is quite stable. Therefore, the MWIR reflectance in sea surface glint area can be considered as a reference for cross-calibration between the solar reflected bands. Based on this idea, this paper constructed an improved non-linear split window model that is suitable for VIIRS (visible infrared imaging radiometer) MWIR band and used this model to calculate the MWIR reflectance of sun glint area in southern Indian Ocean. This model made statistics, getting the relationship between the reflectance of VIIRS M12 and M13 bands at first, and then used the non-linear split window algorithm to calculate the actual sea surface reflectance. The uncertainty of the simulation model was 0.83%. On this basis, this paper calculated sea surface reflectance of selected sample regions based on the data of VIIRS M12 band (center wavelength: 3.697 μm) in sun glint areas. And then verified the reflectance accuracy by two methods, getting the two accuracies were about 0.239% and 0.23%, respectively. It proves that the calculation model in this paper can greatly improve the accuracy compared to the situation when the sea surface reflectance is between M12 and M13 which are assumed to be equal (accuracy of 2.48% and 1.03%, respectively). It also indicated that the model is feasible and effective to calculate the reflectance in sea surface glint area with VIIRS M12 MWIR band, and the accuracy can meet the requirements of MWIR sea surface reflectance as a calibration reference among bands.

Fiber optic sensing technology has been widely used for acoustic emission (AE) measurement in aerospace and geotechnical engineering due to the advantages of immunity to electro-magnetic interference, high accuracy, and multiplexing capacity. As for the fiber Bragg grating based on AE measurement system, traditional efforts have been made to study the spectra of Fiber Bragg Grating under AE signal. While this paper focused on phase-shifted fiber Bragg grating (PS-FBG) which is a new type fiber Bragg grating, and investigated the spectra of under dynamic strain field generating with an AE signal. A dynamic strain sensing model of PS-FBG was built based on the transfer matrix theory, and a cosine exponential attenuation function was utilized to simulate the dynamic strain field. Then the effects of amplitude, sampling time, exponential attenuation coefficient, frequency and wavelength of AE signal on the spectra of PS-FBG were studied in detail using numerical simulation. The result demonstrate that the spectra of PS-FBG changes periodically with frequency and different sampling time, especially the peak wavelength of the transmission window in the PS-FBG spectrum shifts periodically; and the increase of amplitude mainly contribute to more harmonic peaks in the reflected spectrum. The attenuation coefficient affects the spectrum of PS-FBG within certain range. And the AE wavelength affect the spectrum of PS-FBG when it is between 0.1 to 2 L, beyond the range, the spectrum of PS-FBG has minor variation with the AE wavelength. Finally, dynamic strain experiments were conducted, and the spectrum of PS-FBG under continuously vibration signal with different amplitude and frequency were logged for analysis. The experimental results agree well with simulation, which indicate that under different dynamic strain fields generated by AE signal, the spectra of PS-FBG are different, while the variation of spectra follows certain laws. This paper provides theoretical support for the AE measurement system on the basis of PS-FBG.

Because of ground observation instruments and other factors, we can not recognize the space target only from the external shape in the image. Since the reflection spectrum of the space target is determined by the surface material of space object, spectral analysis technique can be used for classifying the space objects. Based on the K-nearest neighbor algorithm (KNN), a method called adaptive weight k-local hyperplane (AWKH) is proposed in this paper. The main improvement of the algorithm is that weight discrimination is added in the processes of calculating the hyperplane distance between predicted samples. The algorithm constructs a hyperplane model by using the difference between the groups and within group ratio for the weights of features. In order to verify the classification effectiveness and efficiency of the algorithm, this paper carried out four sets of verification experiments. In the first set of experiments, 9 kinds of common materials were extracted from the database of United State Geological Survey. Then 3 kinds of these materials were mixed into multi-class objections. In the second and third sets of experiments, the spectra of four normal space target materials were mixed in different classes. Then these classes were identified from the visible and near-infrared wave bands. In the fourth set of experiments, four square models of hexahedron were classified by the spectra of their surface material. The experimental results indicate that the AWKH algorithm has more advantages in identification accuracy and effectiveness of the complex samples by comparing with the support vector machine (SVM) method.

Currently, the technological development of non-destructive analysis and micro-damage analysis of turquoise is fast. LA-ICP-AES, an almost non-destructive analysis, has multiple advantages. This paper attempts to use this analysis method to examine sample turquoise from five places of origin on Mount East Qinling, including ancient turquoise ore in Laziya, in order to attain its major element and microelement data. Then the paper uses PCA to analyze and study its chemical elements in a comparative way. Three main elements are gained through analysis, and their cumulative variance contribution rate has reached 84.96%. The former two main elements’ variance contribution rate is 72.289%. Therefore, the corresponding elements, including V2O5, NiO, B2O3, SrO, BaO, CaO, ZrO, MnO2, are the featured chemical elements of turquoise from different places of origin. Through comparative analysis and research on corresponding chemical elements, turquoise samples produced by different ores vary in terms of the content of some chemical element and chemical components. Two analysis methods combined together will basically realize the appreciation of turquoise in various places of origin. In addition, the research indicates that some chemical contents have positive or negative correlations. Such correlations can be regarded as features of producing area, and can also provide clues as to the cause of formation of turquoise ore. This study preliminarily indicates that LA-ICP-AES combined with PCA and comparative analysis of chemical composition and content has the function of distinguishing turquoise produced in different places of origin to a certain extent.

Cu(InxGa1-x)Se2(CIGS) precursor films were prepared on ITO glass with potentiostatic electrodeposition. High quality CIGS films were obtained by selenization of the precursor films at high temperature in tubular furnace full of argon gas. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy were used to characterize the structure, morphology, composition and Vis-NIR absorption of CIGS films, respectively. XRD results show the selenized CIGS films have a preferential orientation (112) with average crystallite of 24.7 nm. Raman spectroscopy reveals that the CIGS films are pure quaternaryphases with chalcopyrite structure, and without binary or ternary phases in the films. Vis-NIR measurements determine that the bandgap of CIGS increases with the increase of Ga concentration in the film. When the Ga concentration is 5.41%, its bandgap is about 1.11 eV, and the calculated ratio of Ga to (Ga+In) is 16.3%, which is less than the ratio of Ga to (Ga+In), 21.4%, measured by SEM. This indicates that crystallinity of CIGS filmsneeds to be further improved. All the measurements demonstratethat optimum ITO/CIGS has a promising application in bifacial solar cells. In this paper, we provide a newmethodtoelectrodeposit low cost CIGS precursor films and a new method forselenization ofthe precursor films at high temperature. As a result, theuniform and compact CIGS films with good adhesion on ITO are successfully fabricated by these methods. The above characterization show that we have obtained CIGS films with high crystallinity, near stoichiometry, few impurity phases and superior light absorption. Electrodeposition, like magnetron sputtering, is very suitable for large-scale industrial production. The research work in this paper is therefore important and considerable to massive production of electrodeposition of CIGS films.

Large scale spectrum survey will produce mass spectral data and offer chances for searching rare and unknown types of spectra, which is contribute to revealing the evolution law of the universe and the origin of life. Data mining in outlier data in sky survey can serve the purpose of finding special spectra. Line index can be used in spectra data dimension reduction, keeping the spectral physical characteristics as much as possible, and at the same time, it can effectively solve the high dimensional spectral data clustering analysis in the high computation complexity. This paper proposed a method outlier data mining and analysis for massive stellar spectrum survey data based on line index characteristics, according to this, an outlier spectral data analysis method was proposed using line index characteristics space. Experimental results demonstrated that (1) using line index as the characteristic value of the spectrum can quickly perform the outlier data mining for high dimensional spectral data, and it can solve the problem of high computation complexity of the high dimensional spectral data. (2) this outlier data mining method was conducted based on the clustering results; it can effectively finding out emission stars, late type stars, late M type stars, extremely poor metal stars, and even finding spectra data missing certain data. (3) outlier data mining in line index feature space can help to analysis of rules of special stars found in the feature space. The mothed proposed in this paper based on the characteristics of line index outlier data mining and analysis method can be applied to the study of survey data.

Torasemide (TOR) belongs to the pyridine sulfonylurea class of loop diuretics and is widely and effectively used in the treatment of hypertension, heart failure, chronic renal failure and liver disease. One of the adverse reactions caused by TOR was a slight gastrointestinal discomfort in the course of treatment. However, the molecular interactions of TOR with digestive proteases (trypsin and pepsin) rarely reported. The attempt of this paper was to completely investigate the binding characteristics between TOR and trypsin or pepsin at different temperatures under imitated physiological conditions by fluorescence spectroscopy, UV-vis absorption, circular dichroism (CD) and molecular modeling technique. The inner filter effect of all fluorescence data in the paper was eliminated to get accurate binding parameters. It was found that the fluorescence quenching of trypsin and pepsin by TOR was a static quenching type. The Stern-Volmer quenching constants (KSV) of TOR-pepisn and TOR-trypsin were inversely correlated with temperatures. The binding of TOR changed the conformational structures and internal micro-environment of pepsin and trypsin by UV-vis absorption, synchronous fluorescence, three dimensional (3D) fluorescence and circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy. The results showed the polarity around Tyr residues of pepsin or trypsin was changed more obviously than that around Trp residues, the TOR alters the secondary structure of trypsin and pepsin and reduces the β-sheet content of protein, which may affect its physiological function. The molecular docking results showed that TOR inserted into the active site of pepsin to interact with the catalytic residues Asp32 and Asp215, and caused a decrease in pepsin activity. TOR bound into the primary substrate-binding pocket (S1 binding pocket) of trypsin by hydrophobic forces and affected the function of trypsin by increasing its catalytic activity. Our results offer insights for the binding and toxicity mechanism of TOR with pepsin and trypsin in vivo, which provides important information for using the TOR safely.

The key to extract the contents of cadmium in water by using remote sensing technique is to measure the spectrum of extinction coefficient per g·L(-1) and reflectance for its compounds. So in this paper, firstly, we choose two kinds of cadmium compounds, cadmium sulfide (CdS) and cadmium oxide (CdO), which are most commonly exsit in natural water, to measure the spectrums of extinction coefficient and reflectance for them. We use the equipment, designed on our own, which can adjust the path length of light passing and make our measuring results more accurate at visible and near-infrared wavelength range than others. Then we use Analytical Spectral Devices (ASD) spectrometer to measure the radiance of the light spot, which is from the direct light passed through cadmium compounds solutions of different concentrations reflected by the standard board. Using the ratio method to eliminate environmental errors and the effects of the thimbleful of suspended solids in water, we obtain the extinction coefficient per g·L(-1) of these two kinds of cadmium compounds from 400 to 900 nm. Secondly, we use ASD spectrometer to measure the reflectance spectrum of them in the sunny day at outdoor. The reflectance we obtain in this paper can help us to calculate the absorption and scattering coefficient per g·L(-1) in the future. The measuring results show that the extinction coefficient spectrum of CdS has two troughs at 550 and 830 nm and one peak at 675 nm. And the extinction coefficient spectrum of CdO decrease from purple to near-infrared. Both of their coefficient spectrums in blue are larger than green and red. And the value of the extinction coefficient per g·L(-1) of CdS is larger than CdO in the whole measuring wavelength range. The reflectance of CdS in yellow and red is larger than purple and blue, which increases rapidly from 500 to 650 nm and then leveling off. While the reflectance of CdO increase linearly from 525 to 900 nm. Both have obvious spectral characteristic. According to our results, the largest extinction coefficient appear at blue color, while the largest reflectance appear at yellow and red, which means that those bands are the most sensitive wavelength to detect the change of cadmium concentration in water. This study carries out with optical parameters measurements for optical activity of cadmium compounds specifically for water quality remote sensing for the first time. We conclude that the extinction coefficient and reflectance spectrums we obtained are reasonable, and the results can be used as the base parameter in the remote sensing inversion model for cadmium contents in water, which provides a breakthrough on using remote sensing technique to extract the heavy metal contents in water. Obtained these two optical parameters in this paper can provide powerful reference for band selection of the remote sensing image, which is used to extract cadmium contents in water, as well as provide the necessary important parameters of the remote sensing inversion model of cadmium contents in water.

For dual band visible/near infrared spectroscopy system (350~1 100 and 1 000~2 500 nm), there exsits a band overlap and for the same sample the reflectivity data were unlike due to the performance difference between instruments. A band connection and data fusion method was proposed in this paper to make better use of the dual-band data. A dual-band visible/near-infrared spectroscopy system was built in the study to collect 60 pork samples’ reflectance spectra. The reflectance spectra of samples were performed with pretreatment methods of Savitzky-Golay (S-G) and standard normal variable transform to eliminate the spectral noise. Then partial least squares regression (PLSR) prediction models of pork quality attributes (color, pH and cooking loss) based on single-band spectrum and dual-band spectrum were established, respectively. For the cross of two band overlap, the data were connected and integrated using the method put forward in this paper and then PLSR models were established based on the integrated data. The PLSR model yielded prediction result with correlation coefficient of validation (R(p)) of 0.948 8, 0.920 0, 0.950 5, 0.930 1 and 0.903 5 for L(*), a(*), b(*), pH value and cooking loss, respectively. To simplify the model, uninformative variables elimination (UVE) was employed to select characteristic variables. The experimental results show that the proposed method was able to achieve a better fusion of the two band spectral data, and it was good for the establishment of a more simplified and better prediction model.

Glutathione (GSH) is an important three-peptide molecule, which has the functions of antioxidation and detoxification, and plays a crucial role in the fields of biology, medicine and food science. It is involved in many important biochemical reactions in cells and body fluid, and the changes of GSH content reflect the specific health problems of human body. Current methods of GSH detection are always complicated, time-consuming and expensive instrument depended, such as surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS), electrochemical analysis, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and so on. The probe’s photochemical properties can be modified by the reaction between GSH and nanoclusters, which will result in the changes of fluorescence intensity and wavelength. In this paper, a new method to realize precise and rapid GSH detection is developed by using silver na-noclusters as a fluorescent probe, and simultaneously measures the probe’s fluorescence intensity and wavelength. The synthesis of the fluorescence probe reported in this paper possesses the advantages of steps-simple and pollution free, and the GSH detection method has faster response, more accurate measurement and smaller relative error over the traditional methods. The good specificity of GSH detection among other molecules with the similar structure is further proved in control group experiments by comparing the differences of their fluorescence intensities and wavelength. The measurement accuracy is fully assured due to the insensitivity of the probe to a variety of salt ions and amino acids. This technique can be further employed in the intracellular detection and imaging of GSH.

The far-field optical technology of single gold-nanorod(AuNR) has attracted a great deal of attention in recent years. Because of special local surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) property, AuNR particles have high conductivity of optical signals localized on the surface from physical or chemical irritants. The mechanism, application, progress and novel optical characteristics of AuNRs in optical detection and spectroscopy method are being reviewed in our work. The paper describes an overall introduction as follows: (1)various related technologies on AuNR scattered spectrum, including dark-field technology, homodyne and heterodyne technology, photonic crystal technology, spatial modulation, polarization modulation technology, etc; (2) the properties of AuNR scattered spectrum, including spectral line-shape functions, effects of line-width and substrate, comparison of theoretical and experimental spectrums, etc; (3) the development of related spectrum technologies in recent years. The paper focuses on the method of far-field optical scattering based on LSPR and mainly discusses the linear method based on AuNRs, such as direct and indirect scattering detection method. We also put emphasis upon studying the importance of medium environment (for example, substrate, the molecules combined on surface and other nanomaterials) and the influence on scattered spectrum and the extinction rate. Of particular note is the quantitative method and correlation studies of AuNR’s surface and morphology, and its character is that most of the methods are compared with theoretical model and experiments in terms of accuracy. The combination of the experiments and theoretical tools can be used to explain the optical properties of single gold-nanorod particle in detail.

In order to expand the application range of the model for a single kind of fruits in the portable near infrared instrument, this paper comes up with a new method for the soluble solid content (SSC) model transfer between different kinds of fruits. This method is focusing on the idea of model transfer between different instruments. Based on the similar physical and chemical properties of apples, peaches and pears, such as the range of SSC content, fruit size and the thickness of peel, a simple Slope/Bias algorithm is applied to the transfer of apple SSC partial least square (PLS) model. After that, it can be used to predict pearpeach SSC value with very little extra samples. It’s more convenient and costs less by using this method. For pear samples, by using extra 35 standard samples to transfer apple SSC model, RMSEP reduced from 1.009 °Brix to 0.565 °Brix. For peaches, extra 40 standard samples led to a significant reduce of RMSEP from 1.726 °Brix to 0.677 °Brix after model transfer. To validate the feasibility of this model transfer method, both pear and peach SSC models were tested using the same Slope/Bias algorithm model transfer respectively. A pear SSC model was firstly set up and then transferred with Slope/Bias method. Taking 30 standard apples as samples, RMSEP value reached 0.597°Brix, while taking 40 standard peaches as samples, RMSEP value reached 0.689°Brix. The peach SSC model was transferred in the same way. For apples, using 35 standard samples, RMSEP value reached 0.654°Brix, and for pears, using 30 standard samples, RMSEP value reached 0.439°Brix. These results show that slope/bias algorithm can be used to transfer model between similar kinds of fruits such as apples, pears and peaches. The paper provides innovative ideas for the model transfer among similar kinds of materials, so that the portable near infrared instruments can be used more conveniently and widely.

Using the UV absorption spectrum to detect Organic pollutants content in water has become one of the most important methods for real-time online monitoring in the field of water quality inspection, however, the water complex and unstable components often bring much uncertain offset to the standard test. In this paper, water samples were classified firstly by analyzing UV absorption spectrum ranging from 200 nm to 400 μm including the organic substances, through the way of combining principal component analysis (PCA) with Euclidean distance. In this paper, we compared the Principal component analysis combined with partial least squares regression (PCA-PLSR) and the direct multi-wavelength absorption models combined with partial least squares regression (MWA-PLSR), not only for the real water sample but also for the analysis of different concentrations of COD standard solution. The result indicates that the measurement errors of the PCA is less than 5%, it is the smallest by using the first and second principal components as regression parameters for PLSR. Using the methods above can simultaneously achieve to classify of water samples and to measure the concentration of water quality parameters more accurately.

Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) have been widely investigated in environmental field, for most of them are mutagenic (carcinogenic, teratogenic, mutagenic). The influence of delay time and gate width on the time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy of fluoranthene in ethanol was studied in this paper. Furthermore, laser induced time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy of fluoranthene with different concentration were also researched. According to the results, fluorescence kinetics decay curves and fluorescence lifetime of fluoranthene matched. The research results showed that there was closely relationship between the fluorescence spectrum of fluoranthene and the delay time and gate width of detector. When the delay time was fixed, the fluorescence intensity of fluoranthene grew increased as the gate width increased. When the gate width was fixed, the fluorescence intensity of fluoranthene increased first and then decreased with the delay time increases. The process of the attenuation of fluorescence intensity of fluoranthene with time delay conformed to the exponential decay process. The stepwise dilution of fluoranthene ethanol solution was also studied. With increasing dilution, the fitting of fluoranthene fluorescence lifetime increased. The results of this paper can provide a technical basis for the detection of PAHs in the environment, due to the different characteristics of the fluorescent substance having fluorescence lifetime.

The quality and safety of grain and oils are related to the national nutrition and health safety of the public. Owing to the difficulties in operation, destruction, high cost, reagent pollution and other shortcomings, conventional detection method cannot meet the fast, non-destructive, efficient and pollution-free requirements, which pose great difficulties in integrating with Industry 4.0. With the development of chemometrics, hyperspectral imaging (HSI) technology integrates the advantages of spectroscopy and image technology to overcome the defects of conventional detection method, which has become the developingt trend of grain and oils quality testing technology. Based on many interrelated research papers, this paper reviews the principles of HSI and the existing research in quality (component determination, germination test, variety classification) and safety (fungal detection, pest detection) of grain and oils. Meanwhile, in order to promote the application and development of hyperspectral imaging technology in the field of grain and oils, we specially analyze the aspect of HSI including spectral range, chemometrics, equipment and the accuracy of model, pointing out the current problems and prospecting the direction and priority.

As typical nano metarials in near infrared waveband, PbSe Quantum Dots have a very large exciton Bohr radius of 46 nm and a small band gap of 0.28 eV at room temperature. PbSe QDs have very unique properties, such as the quantum confined optical property, and which possess high photoluminescence (PL) quantum yield (QY) with size dependent tunable wavelength emissions. By analyzing the luminescence spectrum of PbSe Quantum Dots, a method through adjusting the particle size of PbSe Quantum Dots (QDs) to match gas absorption spectrum was presented in this paper. 4.6 and 6.1 nm PbSe QDs were synthesized and deposited on the GaN chip to fabricate the NIR QDs light sources. The PbSe QDs-UV glue composites thickness was determined to be 48.0 and 671.5 μm for 6.1 and 4.6 nm PbSe QDs. The NIR QDs were used to detect the C2H2 and NH3 gas. The experiments show that the PL spectrum of 4.6 nm NIR QDs can cover the entire absorption spectrum of C2H2 gas (from 1 500 to 1 550 nm) and the PL spectrum of 6.1 nm NIR QDs can cover the entire absorption spectrum of NH3 gas (from 1 900 to 2 060 nm). By changing the quantum size of QDs, the PL peak of the NIR QDS light source can be adjusted to cover the absorption peak of different gases. The matching method presented in this paper is efficient and feasible, which has great application potential in gas detection.

As a secondary analysis method, reproducibility and reliability of near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) quantitative analysis are quite dependent on modelling process. In this paper, it is focused on outlier analysis for protein quantitative model of wheat based on NIRS. The purpose is to discuss the outlier effect in modelling process of complex sample set. The indicator of outliers is the deviation between two interpretative percentage curves in partial least squares regression (PLSR) modelling, when two percentage curves have significant deviation or departure point, the sample set should include the outliers. The innovative research work is the analysis and treatment of outliers. On the basis of sub-model ergodic calculation method, outliers can be gradually identified and picked-up. The standard deviation of model’s prediction residual is used as the reference graduation to distinguish the degree of deviation. According to the degree of deviation from sample population, outliers can also be divided into significant outliers, relative outliers and potential outliers. In this paper, the significant outliers of the sample set are about 7.8%, and the relative outliers are about 15.6%. The outliers will pull normal samples apart from the ideal fitting line and make the dispersity increase. No matter modelling with removed outliers or weighted samples, the purpose is to make the fitting results of quantitative analysis modelling more inclined to majority samples, while reducing or eliminating the impact of outliers.

The soluble lignin and furan compounds in hydrolysate of lignocellulose biomass have absorbed peaks and inter-superimpose in UV spectroscopy. Therefore, this paper developed a method for the determination of furfural and 5-hydroxymethyl furfural in ethanol-water refining liquors of lignocellulose biomass based on UV spectroscopy. The study showed that there is a good and linear relationship between maximum absorption (λmax) and the concentration percent of 5-HMF (W(5-HMF)) of M, the regression coefficient up to 0.998 4 (R(2)=0.998 4). Furthermore, a better linear relationship was also observed between the concentration of mixture (cM) and absorptivity (A) when the W(5-HMF) was constant, the R(2) of 0.998 6～1.000 0 and reproducibility are desirable. The contents of F and 5-HMF could be calculated accurately according to the perfect liner relationship of A and c(M), λ(max) and W(5-HMF), and the relative deviation of F and 5-HMF of 5.6% and 3.7%, recovery of 89%～96%, RSD of 0.21%～0.85%, respectively. Overall, The simple rapid and precise method in this paper can be applied to the determination of the F and 5-HMF in the hydrolysate of ethanol-water refining lignocellulose biomass.

As an important part in the modern warfare, camouflage technology plays a critical role in the battlefield, and the results of detection of camouflage target directly affect the results of war. However, there is little paper to detect camouflage paint by depolarization characteristics, so it is of great significance to use the depolarization technology to study the distinguishment of camouflage paints. To address this issue, we studied the mechanism of the scattering of electromagnetic wave, and analysed the relationship between the characteristics of depolarization and mechanism of scattering. Jones Matrix and Mueller Matrix were used to set up the physical model, and the Mueller-Jones Matrix was decomposed with the characteristics of polarization, then the depolarization coefficients(ωd) of the surfaces of the samples was acquired. In this experiment, we measured soil and three kinds of camouflage yellow paints in seven different incident angles to analyze the characteristics of depolazation of the soil and three kinds of camouflage yellow paints’ surfaces. Finally, we applied the theory of Fresnel formulas to verify the theoretical model. The results showed that: the depolarization coefficients of the samples’ surfaces were related to the scattering, and with the increase of the incident angles, the depolarization coefficients were decline. But in the whole measurement process, the depolarization coefficients of the soil were far above the camouflage paints’. Research indicated that: this article was the first paper which used the depolarization coefficients as an important parameter to identify the camouflage targets, and could identify the camouflage yellow paints in the soil-background accurately and effectively. The processes of the experiments were simpler, and the time was shorter. In modern battlefield, it could identify the camouflage targets quickly and easily, and furnish the precious time for the victory of the war. Therefore, the depolarization technology had a great application value, and the paper had very important significance on the development of camouflage recognition technology.

Because of its small volume, simple structure, low energy consumption, low working temperature, strong ability of sample dissociation/excitation and other significant characteristics, the dielectric barrier discharge is especially suitable for the miniaturization and portable analytical instruments. By now, atomizer or excitation source based on dielectric barrier discharge has applied in atomic absorption spectrometer, atomic fluorescence spectrometer and atomic emission spectrometer successfully, which promoted the development of miniaturization atomic spectrum instrument. This paper reviews DBD’s recent progress in atomic spectrum field, emphatically introduces the applications of the DBD-AFS system in different sampling modes and analyses, along with their respective merits and demerits. This paper also introduces the new applications of DBD in vapor generation and direct solid sampling. Due to the DBD’s reaction mechanism is still unclear; the study of its subsequent development may be restricted.

The water inrush should been rapidly and accurately identified during preventing coalmine water inrush. The laser induced fluorescent (LIF) spectrum technology provides a new method to identify water inrush with the characteristics of high sensitivity, quick and accurate monitoring. In order to identify water inrush, this paper introduces the spectrum technology of LIF to obtain water inrush fluorescence spectra data. The spectral preprocessing methods of Savitzky-Golay(SG) and Multiplicative Scatter Correction (MSC) have been used to eliminate noise spectra in collecting process. Principal component analysis (PCA) extracts feature information, for SG reprocessing data, when the number of principal component is 3, the cumulative contribution rate can reach 99.76 percent. This method has largely retained the information of original data. This paper chooses the classification model with 3 layers BP neural network, constructing by different training and testing sets. The classification model with SG preprocessing has achieved accurate identification, however, appeared few false identification for MSC and original data. The result shows that SG preprocessing is better than MSC. Research results show that the classification model with PCA and BP neural network can effectively identify coalmine water inrush, and have the strong self-organizing, self-learning ability.

In order to realize rapid identification of dried red jujubes, this paper proposes a method based on near-infrared hyperspectral imaging technology. The near-infrared hyperspectral images (1 000～1 600 nm) of 240 samples in total from 4 cultivars of dried red jujubes will be acquired. The samples are to be divided into the calibration set and the prediction set in the ratio of 2∶1. 7, 8, 10 effective wavelengths are to be selected by principal component analysis(PCA), x-loading weight(x-LW)and successive projection algorithm(SPA) respectively. The dimensionality of original hyperspectral images will be reduced with PCA, and texture features of the first principal component image are to be extracted with gray-level co-occurrence matrix(GLCM).The partial least squares-discriminant analysis(PLS-DA), back propagation neural network(BPNN)and least square support vector machine(LS-SVM) are to be applied to build identification models with the selected effective wavelengths, texture features and fusion of the former two features. The identification rates of the models based on fusion features will be higher than those of models based on the spectral features or texture features respectively. The BPNN models based on the fusion features will obtain the best results, whose identification rates of prediction set are to be 100%. The results in this paper indicate that the near-infrared hyperspectral imaging technology has great potential to identify the dried red jujubes rapidly.

Polarization imaging contains rich target parameters including spectrum, radiant intensity, polarization state, space geometry, etc. Polarization imaging can improve the target detection and recognition ability. The infrared polarization imaging is a new infrared detect technology in recent years. Infrared polarization imaging mainly aims to detect and identify the target with the difference of infrared radiation polarization characteristic between target and scene. But the state of polarization is affected by transmission medium in the transmission process of infrared radiation polarization information while the common method is to analyze the infrared radiation polarization characteristics of target that is not able to describe effects of all interrelated parameters and is difficult to estimate influence factors in the process of transmission. The equation of infrared polarized radiation is established through bidirectional reflectance distribution function based on micro-facet theory. And the mathematical model of the relationship between infrared radiation polarization degree and emissivity is derived in this paper. Result shows that the influence of target surface emissivity on the infrared degree can be ignored. On the basis of theoretical analysis, the infrared spectrum polarization imaging tests are unfolded, and the analysis of test data is consistent with the theoretical analysis. It is concluded that the correlation between the polarization degree of infrared and the emissivity of target surface can be neglected. The research production of this paper is conductive to increase of target detect efficiency, and it will provide new ways and means for camouflage target detect and identify. Therefore, the research production can be applied to detect and identify the camouflage target that is accomplished camouflage through change emissivity of camouflage target surface.

In recent years, with the rapid development of the national defense, industry, technology and other fields, whether it is for the power transmission systems or for the steel smelting and new high-tech industry, temperature measurement has been of important significance. Especially in the high temperature and accompanied by the demand for transient (less than lus)temperature measurement occasion, multi spectral radiation temperature measurement method has been widely used. Multi spectral thermometry is selected by the measured target multiple wavelengths radiation information, the mathematical model of emissivity and wavelength is supposed, finally the radiation temperature is obtained. At present, when the method is used to measure the temperature, the spectral emissivity is fixed with the assumption of the mathematical model, and the fixed model is unable to adapt to the target under different temperature conditions. Similarly, at different temperatures, how to calculate the final emissivity and radiation temperature has been no universal method. Based on the Planck’s law of black body radiation, this paper proposes a new idea that is based on the form invariance of the spectral emissivity function under different temperatures. According to the method, the emissivity model adapte to the dynamic change of the object according to the object under different temperature conditions. At the same time, it also puts forward a general method to calculate the final emissivity and radiation temperature. Through a lot of simulations and experiments, it is proved that the method proposed in this paper is more simple and practical than the existing spectral emissivity solution, which can effectively improve the accuracy of the calculation of spectral emissivity，so as to improve the accuracy of the radiation temperature measurement. At the same time, the method proposed in this paper has the characteristics of good practicability and wide application.

Non-destructive measurement methods including video microscopy (VM), Raman spectrometer (RS), and scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy (SEM-EDS) were employed to analyze the printing materials of a green curled-up dragon stamp sample from the late Qing Dynasty in terms of the paper and ink. The results indicated that the plate-making process of the sample belonged to handcrafted gravure while the slender and dense paper fiber with no coating, watermark, or gumming. Elements of Al and Si were inspected in fillers of paper, therefore, it could be inferred that kaolin (Al2O3·2SiO2·2H2O) was the filler of paper. Green ink was made up of blue pigment Prussian Blue (Fe4[Fe(CN)6]3·14-16H2O) and yellow pigment Lead(II) chromate(PbCrO4). According to theories of additive color and subtractive color, ink presented green color due to the effect of Prussian blue and Lead chromate mixed together. Elements of Na, Mg, S, Cl, K, Ca, V, Zn and Ba were measured from fillers of the ink and it could be inferred that MgCO3, BaSO4, CaCO3 and other substances might be contained in ink fillers. This study with three techniques mentioned above is viable and it has a broad application in non-destructive analysis of printing and paper-based artwork.

Increased concentration of air respirable particulate matter associated with a number of combination factors. Spatial dispersion is also correlated with elevation DEM. In order to study the fog haze pollution associated with digital elevation model of spatial relations, this paper used the capital area ring within 100 km as the research scope, partitioning different length scale grid according to the rectangular grid method in the study area, obtaining visible light image data and hyperspectral image data by using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for the extraction and integration air pollution factor and elevation factor within the scope of this study. GS+ software of kriging interpolation method was used to research the spatial correlation of variable data extraction; the MODIS remote sensing image data combined with field survey were used to analyze nonlinear regression of the terrain and environmental data. With the Calculation of variation effects of the particulate matter in the air and the spatial of the elevation factor under different grid scale ring of capital region, an optimization model of spatial correlation between them was established. Then the relation between the concentration of PM10 and height was determined. The biggest influence distance of elevation DEM associated with particulate matter API is 14.74 km. DEM space since the correlation of waning with the increase of the distance between sample points, which is also an important innovation of this paper. This result shows that the spatial correlation between the elevation DEM and environment conforms to the statistical spherical Gaussian model, correlation coefficient R2 were over 90%, which model fittings good. This study provides a certain theoretical and practical guidance for the control of air pollution index in the future as the change of height to select different tree species for afforestation.

Celestial spectrum contains a great deal of astrophysical information. Through the analysis of spectra, people can get the physical information of celestial bodies, as well as their chemical composition and atmospheric parameters. With the implementation of LAMOST, SDSS telescopes and other large-scale surveys, massive spectral data will be produced, especially along with the formal operation of LAMOST, 2 000 to 4 000 spectral data will be generated each observation night. It requires more efficient processing technology to cope with such massive spectra. Automatic classification of stellar spectra is a basic content of spectral processing. The main purpose of this paper is to research the automatic classification of massive stellar spectra. The Lick index is a set of standard indices defined in astronomical spectra to describe the spectral intensity of spectral lines, which represent the physical characteristics of spectra. Lick index is a relatively wide spectral characteristics, each line index is named after the most prominent absorption line. In this paper, the Bayesian method is used to classify stellar spectra based on Lick line index, which divides stellar spectra to three subtypes: F, G, K. First of all, Lick line index of spectra is calculated as the characteristic vector of spectra, and then Bayesian method is used to classify these spectra. For massive spectra, the computation of Lick indices and the spectral classification using Bayesian decision method are implemented on Hadoop. With use of the high throughput and good fault tolerance of HDFS, combined with the advantages of MapReduce parallel programming model, the efficiency of analysis and processing for massive spectral data have been improved significantly. The main innovative contributions of this thesis are as follows. (1) Using Lick indices as the characteristic to classify stellar spectra based on Bayesian decision method. (2) Implementing parallel computation of Lick indices and parallel classification of stellar spectra using Bayesian based on Hadoop MapReduce distributed computing framework.

This paper proposes a novel wood species recognition scheme based on the spectral reflection features of wood surface, aiming to address the following three issues in terms of the noise filtering, feature selection and radian’s optimal design . First, noises occur in some bands of wood spectral reflection curve so that these noisy bands should be deleted. Second, the wood spectral band is 350~2 500 nm, which is a 2 150D vector with a spectral sampling interval of 1 nm. Therefore, both noise filtering and feature selection should be performed to wood spectral data. In this paper, to simultaneously and efficiently solve the two problems of feature selection and noise filtering, both a feature selection procedure and a noise filtering procedure are performed by solving the eigenvalues of dispersion matrix. This scheme is novel and produces a good outcome. Third, to make the spectral reflection curves picked up by the spectral instrument have the best pattern recognition information; an optimal design is performed for the indoor radian’s mounting height. The genetic algorithm is used to solve the optimal radian’s height so that the spectral reflection curves have the best classification information for wood species. Therefore, the optimal design scheme for the radian’s mounting height can improve the pattern classification accuracy of the wood species to some extents, which is novel with excellent executive feasibility. Many experiments made with our developed software system on the five ordinary wood species in northeast region of China (i.e., including Betula platyphylla, Populus davidiana, Pinus Sylvestris, Picea jezoensis, Larix gmelinii) are performed for approximately 105 times. It indicates that the overall recognition rate reaches to a good recognition accuracy of 95% for five wood species with an ideal recognition velocity. The selected feature wavelengths by using of our feature selection algorithm based on dispersion matrix are mainly in the near infrared band.

Spectrum analysis of crop that affected by subsurface waterlogging is the foundation of surface waterlogging monitoring by remote sensing in large scale. It is also the prerequisite of achieving non-destructive, quick identification of wheat subsurface waterlogging damage with spectral features. But there is no papers report about spectrum analysis of crop affected by subsurface waterlogging so far. The paper analysis the spectral features difference of 8 species (zenmai9023, xinong223, luo6010, fumai168, emai23, emai19, guangyuang11-2, nongda195) between affected subsurface waterlogging and normal in leaf and canopy model using field experiment. The results shows that the leaf spectrum reflectivity value of wheat affected by subsurface waterlogging is high in 645～680 and 1 428～1 456 while it is lower in 757～917 and 1 641～1 684 nm. The main reason is that the subsurface waterlogging causes the leaf chlorophyll photosynthetic capacity decreased and leaf water loss. It is suggested to use NDWI (normal differential water index) value to indicate the damage degree of wheat subsurface waterlogging disaster. The changes of the NDWI index value is analyzed with time when difference wheat species demerged by subsurface waterlogging. It is found that the main factors caused the changes of the NDWI index value with time is related with resistance of variety. The canopy spectrum reflectivity value of wheat affected by subsurface waterlogging is low in all spectrum area. It is suggested to use average value in 670～240 nm to indicate the degree of wheat subsurface waterlogging disaster.
