- Abstract
The common bean represents great importance to Brazil, being cultivated by small, medium and large farmers, using little, or no, input and technology, as the correct choice of cultivars adapted to the edaphoclimatic conditions of each region. The objective of this study was to determine the productivity of common bean in the Cerrado of the Region of Chapada do Parecis. The study was conducted in two years between February and May 2016 and 2017, in the experimental area of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Mato Grosso - IFMT, Campus Campo Novo do Parecis - MT. The experimental design was a randomized block, with 15 treatments (11 lines and four standards) and three replications, totaling 45 plots. Data were submitted to analysis of variance and the Scott-Knott mean test at 5% probability. The genotypes CNFRJ 15411, CNFRJ 15404, CNFRJ 15575, CNFRJ 15578 and CNFRJ 15592 had better performances, with values of grain yields between 609.7 and 825.1 kg ha-1, being the highest grain yield obtained by genotype CNFRJ 15404 (825.1 kg ha-1).
