The influence of the float-tank operating regime on the adhesion of tin oxides to the bottom surface of the manufactured glass strip was studied. An information analysis is performed of the good-glass output in the production process. The influence of the waste from individual stages of production on the glass utilization factor is shown. Using fuzzy systems a model is set up to describe the dependence of the glass utilization factor on the chemical composition of the batch, glass, and process conditions for the formation and annealing of the glass ribbon. Random inspection quality control of laminated windshields during sag molding was performed. The deviations from the technical specifications of the surface tensile stresses at the edge of the glass were revealed. Adaptive models describing the dependence of the tensile stresses at the glass edge on the sag bending temperature were constructed. An algorithm was developed for controlling the sag bending temperature.
