Abstract

The transcription factor binding region mapping is done by using chromatin immunoprecipitation (Chip) technique in DNA microarray analysis and in DNA sequencing. Both the techniques were found to be complementary to each other in their detection capacities.

The sequence tag analysis of genomic enrichment (STAGE) used to identify transcription factor binding sites in the human genome is found to be more efficient than other techniques. It is vital in the cellular response such as cell proliferation, apoptosis and immune response.
