Verschiedene Arten der simultanen und sequentiellen photometrischen Cr(III)- und Cr(VI)-Bestimmung nach der Technik der reversed-flow Injektionsanalyse werden beschrieben. Die relative Standardabweichung für die Bestimmung dieser Chromspezies im µg/ml-Bereich bei einer Probenfrequenz von 30 bis 100 je Stunde beträgt weniger als +1% für die Simultan- und weniger als +3% für die sequentiellen Methoden. Eine simulierte kontinuerliche Überwachung von Chrom(VI) sowie eine periodische von Chrom(III) in natürlichem Wasser und Abwasser wird beschrieben. Die häufigsten Störungen werden diskutiert.

Summary A fast and inexpensive fluorimetric method for the determination of total aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1, and G2) in food of use in screening numerous samples suspectedly containing these substances is proposed. The sensitivity of the method (determination range between 0.5 and 200.0 ng ml-1) allows these analytes to be detected at concentrations well below legal limits; hence, separation-detection techniques such as HPLC need only be used with samples in which these compounds are found to occur. The method has been applied to maize, peanut and tapioca samples, obtaining average recoveries of 100.9 with deviations of ±5% with respect to 100% recovery.

Two automatic methods are proposed for the voltammetric determination of ethanol in whole blood. They are based on the use of the enzymatic systems alcohol dehydrogenase/ nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (method A) and alcohol dehydrogenase/nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide/ diaphorase/2,6-dichlorophenolindophenol (method B). The determination ranges are 2.5–30.0 µg/ml and 0.5–30.0 µg/ml with sampling rates of 60 and 30 samples/h, respectively. The coefficients of variation are about ±4%.
